Chapter 922: Becoming the Young Madam

Little Lemon called him ‘Mr Fu’?

As Little Lemon stood in front of Lin Shiyu, the little girl looked blankly at him with her lustrous eyes. He had already been made an outcast by the mother-daughter duo.

Fu Qinglun was speechless.

The corners of Lin Shiyu’s lips quirked up once she saw Little Lemon treat Fu Qinglun in such a way. Little Lemon definitely gave Lin Shiyu the tender loving care she needed in life, she was such a sweetheart.

“Little Lemon, let’s go home.” Lin Shiyu held Little Lemon’s hand as they left.

In the cab, Lin Shiyu had Little Lemon in her arms when the cab driver said, “There seems to be a luxury car following us.”

When Lin Shiyu looked in the rearview mirror, she saw that it was Fu Qinglun.

He was following behind them.

Lin Shiyu lowered her eyes. “Don’t bother about him, just continue driving.”

Half an hour later, Lin Shiyu brought Little Lemon back inside their apartment. She gave Little Lemon a shower and told her some bedtime stories before she finally fell asleep.

Lin Shiyu had also taken a shower and she wore only a negligee. When she stood beside the windows and looked out, the luxury car was still parked downstairs.

Fu Qinglun was still there.

He slumped against the car, with one hand in his pocket as his other hand was holding onto a cigarette. His facial features were blurred by the smoke.

Naturally striking, he had already attracted the eyes of many with his luxury car and good looks.

The man downstairs suddenly lifted his head, as though they were telepathic and glanced over. Lin Shiyu quickly let down the blinds, getting in bed to sleep.

Ding! She received a message.

He sent her a message, just a few simple words—-Shi’shi, I’ve left. Goodnight.

Lin Shiyu didn’t reply.

The next day.

Lin Shiyu stepped out from her room and Old Madam was seated on the couch, reading the newspapers. She slammed the newspapers on the coffee table and exclaimed, “How dare this rascal do this?!”

“Old Madam, what’s the matter?” Lin Shiyu went in front and asked.

“Little Shi’shi, come over and check this out. It’s the entertainment headlines for today. Fu Qinglun is going to be holding a party tomorrow to officially recognize his relationship with whatever Lu Qi’er. This rascal is being too much!”

Lin Shiyu’s lashes fluttered, he had really gotten together with Lu Qi’er?

She actually wasn’t convinced, she could feel that he had some sort of plan lined up.

But it was none of her business anyway.

“Old Madam, there’s something I have to tell you.”

“What is it?”

“I’m going to leave the Capital with Little Lemon tomorrow. It’s getting chilly here in autumn, this place is not suitable for Little Lemon. We’ve always lived in tropical countries abroad.”

Leave the Capital?

The Old Madam’s eyes lit up, she instantly held onto Lin Shiyu’s hand. “Little Shi’shi, that’s great! Let’s leave tomorrow and head to Mexico!”

“Mexico?”

“That’s right. Mexico’s winters aren’t harsh and the summers aren’t too hot and humid. Mexico’s weather is enjoyable all year round, it’s the perfect fit for you and Little Lemon!”

Lin Shiyu was a little hesitant. Though Mexico did have great weather, she wasn’t actually planning to go there at all.

“Little Shi’shi, didn’t Sikong tell you about it? He’s going to be heading back to Mexico in a few days, so you must come to Mexico with Little Lemon!”

Lin Shiyu paused for a moment. “What? Why didn’t I hear it from Sikong?”

If Sikong were to head to Mexico, there was no other way left for her. She had to go to Mexico too, Little Lemon couldn’t leave Sikong’s supervision.

All the while, Old Madam was laughing on the inside. Of course Sikong hadn’t mentioned it to Lin Shiyu since she was the one who made the decision just seconds ago.

Ah Sen, Grandma has already helped you out by bringing your wife to Mexico, you can’t let me down. Quickly handle all of your matters and rush over!

“Little Shi’shi, Sikong is one of the Guding family, he works under their orders. Oh right, I have good relations with the Old Madam of the Guding family. Her grandson is the young master of the Guding Castle. He really has it all, not only the looks but the brains. Forget about our Qinglun, I’ll introduce you to the young master and make you the young madam of the Guding family!”

The Guding family was an omnipotent presence in Mexico for two whole centuries, and even Lin Shiyu also knew about the reputed family.

But talking about becoming the young madam of the Guding family, she knew where she stood. She was a single mother, they would never bother with someone or her status.

She wasn’t one who would curry favor with others either and she didn’t give a damn about them.

And so she just treated it as a joke.

“Old Madam, thanks for your good intentions.”

“You’re welcome. Once we touch down in Mexico, I’ll bring you to visit the Guding castle!”

Lin Shiyu just watched Old Madam being so pleased with herself, she was kind of weirded out but at the same time, amused. The Guding family wasn’t easily accepting of just anyone, they were the royals of Mexico. This old granny who even needed herself to take in was boasting? Or is there something fishy going on?

Lin Shiyu could feel that this Old Madam was kind of strange.

At night.

Lin Shiyu was packing her suitcase while the news of Fu Qinglun and Lu Qi’er’s relationship had already spread like wildfire. The party tomorrow was already the talk of the town but she wasn’t bothered about it at all.

Dingdong! The doorbell chimed.

Who was it?

Lin Shiyu walked over to answer the door. There was a tall figure standing outside the door, it was Fu Qinglun.

“Young Master Fu, what can I help you with?”

Fu Qinglun looked at her beautiful face and his voice deepened. “Where’s Little Lemon?”

“She’s already asleep.”

“May I take a look at her?”

He was Little Lemon’s father and she certainly didn’t have the right to deprive him of caring for Little Lemon. Lin Shiyu let go of the doorknob, turning around to enter the room.

Fu Qinglun followed her in, after seeing Little Lemon asleep, he crouched over and planted a kiss on Little Lemon’s forehead.

When he lifted his eyes, he saw Lin Shiyu packing her suitcase.

His expression darkened. “You’re really leaving the Capital with Little Lemon?”

“Yes.”

Fu Qinglun pursed his lips. “I’m going to be officially recognizing my relationship with Lu Qi’er at tomorrow’s party, are you not going to do anything about it?”

Do anything about it? It wasn’t easy to decipher the meaning behind his message.

Lin Shiyu lifted her eyes and asked, “What do you mean?”

Fu Qinglun had both hands in his pockets while looking at her. “You’re really fine leaving me behind here by myself? You’re not going to do anything, even if I really fool around with other women?”

Do anything? What right did she have to even control him?

It was ridiculous.

Lin Shiyu’s gaze shifted downwards, landing on his trousers. The corners of her lips quirked up into a faint smile. “You’ve recovered?”

Fu Qinglun sneered, “No, you were too heartless. You don’t know how to love and take care of your own belongings!”

“… How are you even going to fool around with other women when you’ve not even recovered? And also, does Lu Qi’er know about it? Are you sure that she won’t mind?”

“…”

Why was she focusing on that instead?

Wasn’t she supposed to be jealous and confronting him?

“I’m not fine with you leaving!” Fu Qinglun crouched over, lifting up the pile of clothing packed in the corner of her suitcase.

What was he doing?! That was her underwear!
