“Brother Qinglun,” Lu Qi’er said as she walked over, “What are you looking at? Why are you so happy?”

She had seen Fu Qinglun on his phone from afar. He was smiling with affection and happiness. But as soon as she approached, Fu Qinglun put his phone back in his pocket and smiled lightly. “It’s nothing much.”

There was a glint in Lu Qi’er’s eyes as she handed Fu Qinglun a glass of wine. “Brother Qinglun, it’s a happy occasion today. Let’s cheers to that.”

Fu Qinglun took a look at the wine in his hand. “This… isn’t drugged right?”

Lu Qi’er froze and quickly averted his gaze. But she recovered quickly as well and said, “Brother Qinglun, what a joke. Why would I drug you?”

Fu Qinglun looked at Lu Qi’er silently, his gaze sharp and intelligent. “I was just joking. Why are you so nervous?”

He reached over to take the wine from Lu Qi’er’s hands, and sipped a little of it.

He drank it.

That was great! The wine was actually drugged!

Lu Qi’er cheered in her mind silently. At this moment, the doors to the main hall opened and someone entered.

It was Fu Jingtong.

“Big Brother, congratulations on finding your own happiness. Miss Lu and you really are made for each other,” Fu Jingtong said with a smile.

Was this party not meant for Fu Qinglun to reveal his relationship with Lu Qi’er?

And why was Lu Qi’er with Fu Jingtong?

She turned around and walked towards Fu Jingtong, hugging him tight. “Jingtong, I’ve already followed your orders and drugged Fu Qinglun’s wine. He has already drunk it. His life is now in your hands, he’ll be your puppet from now on!

The people around her were all pointing at her and whispering with eyes filled with judgement. She took a look at Fu Jingtong’s menacing expression and trembled with fear.

She looked at Fu Qinglun. “What just happened to me? Did you drug me?”

At this moment, Sikong walked over to Fu Qinglun’s side. “Ah Sen, how is it? My new invention, the truth serum, was pretty useful wasn’t it?”

Lu Qi’er’s pupil shrunk. “You… you…”

She had fallen into their trap.

Fu Qinglun had long known about Fu Jingtong’s and her plan. All he did was counter with one of his own.

He had already gotten someone to switch their wines and instead, she was the one who had been drugged.

With the mention of the Guding Family, the entire place was thrown into uproar. Everyone started discussing about all they knew about them. As he listened, Fu Jingtong only got more and more anxious. Was the Young Master of Castle Guding and President Koco the same person?

President Koco was Mr Smithson.

And just now, this Sikong had called Fu Qinglun… Ah Sen?
