Chapter 1029: Passionate Kiss at the Stairway

She ran towards him.

Fu Qinglun opened his arms wide and she landed in his embrace, their bodies close together.

“You came back to look for me?” Fu Qinglun buried his face in her hair, taking a deep breath.

“Mm.” Lin Shiyu placed her face near his chest, listening to his heart beating so powerfully.

She went back to look for him.

When he turned back to look for her, she also came back to look for him.

Fu Qinglun’s heart ached but he was still delighted nonetheless. “You heart no longer aches?”

“It hurts, it hurts even more now.” Lin Shiyu shut her eyes, her pale lips curving into a gentle smile. “But I still want to hug and hold you, even if it hurts.”

She wanted to hug him even if her heart was aching.

Fu Qinglun planted a kiss on her silky hair, multiple kisses in fact. He just couldn’t stop himself from doing it. Furrowing his brows, he laughed and said, “My wife Shi’shi is such a fool.”

No one was more foolish than her.

She insisted on loving him even when it hurt.

That would only make her hurt even more.

He picked her up, spinning a few rounds on the spot, the ends of her skirt billowed out around her, forming beautiful waves.

Lin Shiyu hugged his neck with both hands. She just couldn’t bear to let him go. She couldn’t bear to let Little Lemon suffer but she couldn’t bear to let him go either.

The passers-by looked at Fu Qinglun and Lin Shiyu with envy. They watched as the pair hugged each other so lovingly along the streets.

How they wished time would just stop there.

Fu Qinglun brought Lin Shiyu to an apartment near Zhongshan road. It was nearby the hospital, just a few minutes’ walk away. It suited Lin Shiyu’s needs very much, it was convenient for her to go and take care of Little Lemon.

Downstairs, Lin Shiyu looked at Fu Qinglun. “I’m going back.”

“Let me take you upstairs.”

“There’s no need…”

Fu Qinglun picked up her cold hand. “Let’s go, I’ll take you upstairs and leave right after.”

He held her hand and took her into the apartment lobby, heading inside the lift for the eighth floor.

In front of the apartment, Lin Shiyu held the keys in her hand. She looked at Fu Qinglun. “I’ve reached home, you can go back now.”

Fu Qinglun took a step forward, sandwiching her between his body and the wall. He pointed at his cheek. “Give me a goodbye kiss.”

He wanted a kiss from her. This was their first time living apart since they got married five months ago.

Lin Shiyu looked at him, coming up on her tiptoes and she leaned over, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

After kissing him, she stood back down on her feet. “I’m done– Mmm!”

Fu Qinglun lowered his head, kissing her right on the lips.

Lin Shiyu’s pupils contracted, placing her hands on his muscular chest, she tried to push him away.

Bam! Fu Qinglun supported himself with one hand beside her on the wall. This position made it even easier for him to kiss her.

He smiled. “It’s rude if I don’t reciprocate.”

Lin Shiyu’s heart melted, the corners of her lips raising into a sweet smile. Her fingers curled up, grasping his shirt tightly.

She opened her mouth, biting on a corner of his lips lightly. Fu Qinglun took the chance to pass his tongue through her teeth.

Lin Shiyu’s lashes fluttered, she reciprocated the kiss shyly by pushing her tongue inside his mouth too. Pink bubbles seemed to float around the entire stairway.

“Why don’t we have some serious discussion regarding the ranking the other time?”

When their lips separated, he continued kissing her ears. Lin Shiyu’s ears were sensitive, with his bass voice ringing in her ears, her face flushed red and she tried to avoid him. “How are we going to have a serious discussion?”

Fu Qinglun loved her ears so much, he continued kissing them, even sticking his tongue out to lick it.

Lin Shiyu’s legs gave way, and she slid downwards.

Fu Qinglun managed to grasp her slim waist in the nick of time. Pushing her against the wall, he leaned forward and pressed his body against hers. “Shi’shi, let’s do it.”

With such a suggestive position, though their bodies were separated by the fabric of their clothing, she could feel his hot-bloodedness.

Lin Shiyu lowered her head. She hadn’t agreed, but hadn’t rejected him either. In response, Fu Qinglun gave her a peck on the lips, moving his hand to take the keys from her.

But Lin Shiyu held the keys in her hand tightly, not allowing him to take it.

“My wife, Shi’shi.” He pressed himself onto her, calling her name so magnetically.

Lin Shiyu quickly closed her eyes. This man… was really irresistible, almost taking her soul away.

Characteristics of little puppies include, extreme loyalty for their girlfriends, clingy, love acting flirtatiously.

He had it all in spades.

Their faces were close together, his fringe covering his eyes and his skin was on the fairer side. He just appeared so personable, making women want to take advantage of him.

Fu Qinglun held onto her fist, interlocking his fingers with hers. Her hand opened, the key landing in his palm. Once they started making out, they couldn’t stop.

But a ringtone interrupted them, he had an incoming phone call.

Lin Shiyu moved uneasily, as though their intimate session had been peeked at by someone.

“Don’t move.” Fu Qinglun pressed her against the wall so overbearingly. He whipped out his phone with one hand, answering the call.

“Ah Sen,” Sikong spoke on the other end of the phone, “I’ve settled the surrogacy matters, I’ve found the ovary and surrogate mother.”

Lin Shiyu was trapped between his arms and she could hear Sikong’s voice very clearly.

Sikong was incredibly efficient.

Fu Qinglun pursed his lips. Lin Shiyu pushed him away, snatching the keys from his hand. She unlocked the door and stepped inside the apartment.

He wanted to go in too, but she closed the door in his face.

She locked him outside the apartment.

“Ah Sen, are you listening?”

Fu Qinglun hung up the phone call.

Keeping his cell phone in his pocket, he lifted his hand and pressed on the door bell.

No one answered the door.

He continued pressing.

But she just wouldn’t open the door. Fu Qinglun stood outside the apartment, his face ashen.

One door separated them into two vastly different worlds.

In the hospital.

Lin Shiyu went to the office to look for Sikong, but she didn’t head inside. She stood outside, overhearing Sikong’s voice. “Ah Sen, I got this high quality ovary from the database. Don’t worry, the owner of this ovary will never find out that she has a child with you. Well, regarding the surrogate mother, would you like to meet her?”

A few seconds later, she could hear Fu Qinglun’s emotionless voice. “There’s no need.”

Lin Shiyu turned around, wanting to return to the hospital ward. She spotted a lithe figure seated on the bench along the corridor. It should be the surrogate mother Sikong had found.
