A familiar figure stood by the window. It was… her mother.

Lin Shiyu murmured so longingly, yet with so much pain at the same time. She got down the bed, with bare feet, walking towards the window.

She lifted her arms, pushing open the window.

The cold breeze gushed into the room, just like a knife, slicing her face so mercilessly. She was on the 18th floor.

But she couldn’t feel even an ounce of coldness and danger. Looking far away with that blank gaze, she moved her lips. “Mom, I feel so cold, hug me…”

She found a stool, stepping on it and climbing over the window ledge.

“Shi’shi.” The door opened and a tall figure came in, it was Fu Qinglun.

Fu Qinglun noticed the lithe figure with just one glance. She was sitting by the window.

She wore a white dress, the cold wind billowing it out, blowing inside the room and ruffling her long hair around. Her white dress billowed out around her, making her appear so ethereal.

Fu Qinglun’s pupils contracted with horror, his heart stopped beating at that exact moment, he forgot to even breathe.

He shouted as he ran over.

He glared at her, his chest pumping up and down. His entire mind was filled with the thought she could have died, she was only one step away from jumping down.
