“Ah Sen, Shiyu is not doing well. Little Lemon’s matter has ruined her and adding on your matters, she has severe depression. She has displayed symptoms of hallucination and even… suicide tendencies.”

Severe depression?

It seared into Fu Qinglun’s mind. There had been cases of patients with depression committing suicide almost every day in recent years.

It was a frightening illness, not easily curable with just medication.

“Ah Sen, it’s really a sticky situation now. Little Lemon is going through V2 chemotherapy every day and we’ve found the surrogate. You will also have to wait for the sperm and ovary to match, this needs to be settled as soon as possible.

“Also, Shiyu had depression and she needs treatment for that, but with all these things going on, she can’t possibly go for therapy yet. Sikong nodded his head. “Yes, there is. We can use hypnosis to take away those painful memories.”

Fu Qinglun didn’t speak, the silence lasting for almost a minute. He nodded his head. “Okay.”

Since he made her suffer so much, he should just let her forget about him. Sometimes, the ending wasn’t really the end, but in fact, was the beginning.

He wasn’t letting her go, he, Fu Qinglun would never let go of Lin Shiyu’s hand. He was planning to start afresh with her.

“Ah Sen, do you want to take away Shiyu’s memories of Little Lemon?” Sikong asked.

Little Lemon was her daughter, she had given birth to her by risking her life. No one had the rights to take away her role as a mother.

But Fu Qinglun nodded his head. “Mm, take it away too.”

In the end, he made the decision to take those memories away.

He drew a circle, placing her outside of it. He wanted to watch her smile, and not let her cry.

When everything got better, after he settled everything, he would take Little Lemon with him and find her.

Lin Shiyu woke up. Once she opened her eyes, Fu Qinglun’s handsome face appeared before her. He had been by her bedside the entire time.

“Shi’shi, you’ve woken up? Do you need some water?”

Lin Shiyu sat up, shaking her head. “I don’t need it… Wait, why are you still here? Have you gone for the test yet? Little Lemon can’t wait any longer.”

She urged him.

Fu Qinglun looked at her. She seemed to have forgotten about the jumping down episode earlier on. Her entire mind was preoccupied with saving Little Lemon’s life.

The Lin Shiyu who hugged him while crying, who admitted that she was madly jealous, had disappeared. It was as though it was just a dream.

She had suppressed herself yet again. Her depression would only get worse as time passed.

Knock knock. Sikong opened the door. “Ah Sen, I’m here to get a sample of your sperm.”

Lin Shiyu’s face was as pale as a sheet of paper. She lifted the blanket, quickly getting down the bed. “I’ll go check on Little Lemon, you two can carry on.”

She scurried out of the lounge, not even turning her head back to look at them at all.

Fu Qinglun got up. “Let’s go.”

In the research lab, Sikong placed an empty test tube on the rack. “Ah Sen, I’ll wait for you outside? Is 10 minutes enough?”

Fu Qinglun sat on the chair, slumping against the back of it. He narrowed his eyes while looking at the tube. “I don’t know, I’m not really in the mood now.”

Sikong’s gaze traveled downwards, riveting on Fu Qinglun’s pants.

Before he could even see anything, Fu Qinglun randomly picked up something and threw it in his face. “Get out!”
