There wasn’t anyone on the bed, she looked around and found Lu Jinwen standing on the balcony. He supported himself with one hand on the railing, the other hand preoccupied with a cigarette. The cold wind outside billowed out his pajamas.

Hearing a sound, he slowly turned around to look. Surrounded by the smoke, his eyes landed on her, looking up and down a few times as he narrowed his eyes.

“You’ve taken a shower?”

Lu Jinwen stretched his hands out, wanting to lift her nightdress.

Lu Jinwen didn’t pick up his phone, he raised his brows, his eyes crinkling into a smile as he exuded the charms of a mature man. “You called me when I was just in the middle of taking my wife’s clothes off. How about you tell me whether you’ve disturbed me?”
