Murong Fu instantly reacted to her words, shouting loudly, “Devious woman, what kind of tricks did you play to attract the wolves over and bewitch everyone?”

A smirk appeared on Jun Xiqing’s face. “Seems like we don’t need to discuss any further.”

The atmosphere was stifling and tense.

In her heart, Jun Xiqing actually felt some uncertainty. Although wolves were one of the most ferocious animals, she still wasn’t that confident yet. She hadn’t trained them yet and hadn’t built a Wolf Iron Steed Troop yet. If they were to fight now, there was a high possibility that she wouldn’t be able to leave.

Murong Ling looked at his father. “Father, please stop committing one mistake after another. West Duke has promised to not kill you.”

“You! You unfilial child!” Murong Fu berated him angrily before he sneered again in contempt, “West Duke, you’ve only brought a steed troop with you. I have an entire army of soldiers behind me, we don’t know who’s the winner yet.”

This was a restricted area in the Palace, Lu Yeming couldn’t bring an army of soldiers in, only the Wuling Iron Steed Troop could accompany him. Comparing the Wuling Iron Steed Troop to an army of soldiers, they were still at a disadvantage.

But Lu Yeming only raised his brows, his eyes on Jun Xiqing’s beautiful face. “Qingqing, I’m going to hand the Wuling Iron Steed Troop over to you. Are you capable of combining them with the wolves, making a Wolf Iron Steed Troop?”

Jun Xiqing smiled, letting out a chuckle. “West Duke, so it turns out I’m merely a pawn in your game.”

Ye Ruge wasn’t feeling unwell at all, he just chose not to take Ye Ruge with him. He had planned to bring her into the Palace for a long time.

He couldn’t bring an army into the Palace and only took the Wuling Iron Steed Troop with him. For the Wuling Iron Steed Troop to win the battle against Murong Fu’s army of soldiers, the crux was her.

Almost as if they were enchanted, the wolves started acting according to the melody of the flute, they lowered their stance and the Wuling Iron Steed Troop followed rode on their backs.

A strong, melancholy battle song started to echo through the skies. Jun Xiqing straightened her back, her eyes gleaming and she couldn’t hide the astuteness in her eyes.

She was so stunning, one just couldn’t take their eyes off of her. Lu Yeming placed his arms behind his back, his gaze on Jun Xiqing’s face. Hadn’t he said it? Yes, he liked her, she really deserved his attention.

“Charge!”

Ah Da’s voice pierced through the howls, the wolves’ eyes glinting ferociously as they charged towards Murong Fu’s army.

It was complete pandemonium.

Murong Fu’s army was completely caught at a loss, they were annihilated without a chance.

Humans weren’t as aggressive and explosive as animals. These wolves were too formidable, they were able to frighten the army of soldiers into surrender even before attacking them.

They had won.

Jun Xiqing put away her flute, remaining on the wolf’s back as she looked at Lu Yeming from above. “West Duke, congratulations in your advance on becoming the new ruler!”

Since Murong Fu had lost, the Palace was now his. Lu Yeming was going to rule the world soon.

When Lu Yeming lifted his eyes, Jun Xiqing had already disappeared.
