Chapter 1297: I Miss You

The lights weren’t switched on and it was completely dark, only some moonlight came in through the windows.

Feeling something warm on his face, Lu Yeming used his fingers to feel it. Tears burned his fingertips.

She paused, lifting her eyes to look. Qingqing’s phone was placed on the nightstand and it had a new notification.

She walked over, looking at the screen—-Lu Yeming.

It was a text from Lu Yeming!

Qingqing had been back for a long time and Lu Yeming hadn’t sent her a single text. But now, after he ascended the throne, he sent Qingqing a text late at night.

Jun Xiyan picked up the phone. Qingqing had set a password, but she knew Qingqing too well, easily guessing it. After unlocking the phone, she read the text—-I miss you.

Lu Yeming stood at the tower, clad in a full black suit that accentuated his dignified aura. He had one hand in his pocket and the other was occupied with his phone.

He didn’t receive a reply.

He had sent that text out, but she hadn’t responded.

Fan Men stood behind him. He could sense something off with Lu Yeming. This was Lu Yeming’s nth time looking at his phone.

Lu Yeming’s face turned frosty and after a few seconds, he decided to make the call.

Dudu, he heard an automated message—-Sorry, the number you have dialed does not exist.

With raised brows, Lu Yeming turned behind to ask Fan Men, “What does it mean when they say the number I’ve dialed does not exist?”

“…”

Fan Men was stunned. Didn’t that mean the person had blocked him?

But who had the guts to block him?

“Master…”

“Say it.”

“It seems like… you’ve been blocked.”

After saying that, Fan Men carefully watched Lu Yeming’s expression.

Lu Yeming didn’t really have a reaction, not even raising a brow. He just pursed his lips, acting natural, but at the same time, it was someone self-deprecating.
