If Yu Rubing were to make the final appearance, she would be the queen of the event and the role of the female lead would definitely belong to her.

The organizer could only apologize. “Miss Yu, we are really sorry, but the female stars under Jiaxiang Entertainment are making the final appearance.”

What?! Yu Rubing’s assistant was stunned hearing those words. Yu Rubing was the favored one in the entertainment industry, she was the main star no matter where she went in the past three years. But now, she had become a supporting character in this VIP event?

“What do you think you’re saying? I expect to hear a reasonable explanation from you. How did the female stars under Jiaxing Entertainment even take the spot?”

The organizer was put on the spot, but he remained firm. “I’m sorry, Miss Yu, the boss of Jiaxing Entertainment has returned.”

Yu Rubing lifted her head, looking at the organizer. “Is the boss formidable?”

The organizer nodded. “The boss of Jiaxing Entertainment is the boss of King-back, Tang Mo’er. Miss Tang is back.”

Yu Rubing’s assistant gasped. Tang Mo’er?!

So it was Tang Mo’er!

There couldn’t possibly be anyone who didn’t know of her!

She had been occupying the top searches of Weibo, it was rumored that she was making a comeback soon. It turned out to be real.

So Tang Mo’er was going to make a comeback today, during this VIP event.

“We–” Yu Rubing’s assistant still didn’t give up, wanting to fight for her.

But Yu Rubing tugged on her assistant’s sleeve, shaking her head to stop.

Yu Rubing’s assistant looked over, noticing Gu Mohan occupying the frontmost seat, with influential figures surrounding him. Someone was talking to him and he just listened, without saying a word.

It was then that Yu Rubing’s assistant finally understood everything. In the end, Gu Mohan hadn’t spoken up. He didn’t want to intervene.

If he were to say something, nobody would dare to allow Yu Rubing to stand at a disadvantage today.

The event began, with the celebrities walking the red carpet according to the sequence.

Yu Rubing was set to make the penultimate appearance. She was really popular, receiving the applause of the entire audience once she appeared.

The entire time she was there, Yu Rubing only had eyes for Gu Mohan, Yan Dong seemed to be whispering something in his ear and he didn’t pay any attention to her at all.

Yu Rubing continued walking and her turn was over.

Suddenly, the entire place went quiet. Everyone seemed to be expecting something and Gu Mohan also gradually lifted his eyes.

The two most popular male and female celebrities under Jiaxing Entertainment first appeared, walking on the red carpet before a lithe figure appeared last.

—-Look, it’s Tang Mo’er!

—-Oh god, it’s really Tang Mo’er!

Tang Mo’er had appeared.

She wore a deep indigo gown that seemed to shimmer as the light reflected off of it, just like the stars in the galaxy. Long and flowy, it revealed her slender arms and shaped her womanly figure.

Tang Mo’er had her long hair combed up into an updo, leaving a few strands beside her ears. With the bright lights shining over her, she exuded a completely different aura, she was no longer the youthful, innocent her. She was now elegant, classy and one just couldn’t take their eyes off of her.

She was gorgeous!

Everyone gasped.

Gu Mohan looked at the woman on the red carpet, not able to take his eyes off of her.

She led the celebrities under Jiaxing Entertainment and was killing it. She was like a queen.

No, she was the queen.

King-back.

She was now the queen of the event. Who would dare contest her position and standing?

A loyal fan shouted hysterically, “Tang Mo’er, I love you!”

Everyone was shocked, a second person suddenly appeared. “Tang Mo’er, I love you!”

The third person, fourth person… the Nth person. It was almost contagious, everyone started shouting.

—-Tang Mo’er, I love you!

Tang Mo’er lifted her eyes, looking at the people who expressed their love for her. The corners of her lips quirked up and she beamed at them.

“Thank you.”

The VIP event had ended.

Yan Dong stood beside Gu Mohan, reporting, “President, this event has overtaken the internet. Many netizens are confessing their love for Madam, saying Tang Mo’er, I love you!

“Tang Mo’er is the one celebrity we’ve all been a fan of. She has made an official comeback after three years of hiatus and the entire nation is confessing their love to her.”

Gu Mohan’s brows moved, he lifted his eyes, looking for the lithe figure. As Tang Mo’er wore a galactic-themed gown which was incredibly eye-catching. It was easy for him to spot her.

She took the celebrities under Jiaxing Entertainment with her and talked to Director Yue. Of course, Director Yue was happy to talk to her. “Miss Tang, other female stars are afraid that they would lose their popularity and be forgotten even when they take a 10-month hiatus to give birth, but you’re completely the opposite. You disappeared for three years and yet you’re even more popular when you make your comeback. There is indeed only one Tang Mo’er in the entire industry, you’re really irreplaceable.”

Tang Mo’er smiled. “Director Yue, you’re really good at giving praises. I’m flattered, but I’ll still gladly accept it.”

Director Yue looked at Tang Mo’er. She was 29 and still charismatic, her skin radiant and supple, not losing out to an 18-year-old at all. If anything, Tang Mo’er was even more attractive now, having a classy, elegant aura that made it difficult for one to take their eyes off of her.

“Miss Tang, I have a period drama that’s ready for shooting. Would you be interested?”

Tang Mo’er raised her brows. It seemed that she didn’t have to do much to receive an offer for this drama that everyone vied for.

Not far away.

Ron was a newly emerged talent and this was his first time being invited to a VIP event. When he saw Tang Mo’er, he was completely blown away.

He almost doubted his own eyes, was this the Tang Mo’er he knew?

Tang Mo’er stood in the crowd, surrounded by a gushing crowd and chatting with that famous Director Yue. God, she was gorgeous in that blue gown.

Ron turned around, asking one of his friends. “Who is that woman?”

Gobsmacked, his friend stared only incredulously at him. “Are you serious? You don’t even know who Tang Mo’er is?”

“Tang Mo’er? Is she really popular? How popular is she when compared to Yu Rubing?” Ron asked.

“Tang Mo’er and Yu Rubing are on different levels. They can’t be compared. Let me set it straight, if Tang Mo’er continued to be active in the entertainment industry, Yu Rubing wouldn’t even have had a chance to be popular.”

Ron froze on the spot, he was reminded of when he brought the tabloid magazine to her, agitating her.

No wonder her tone was like that.

Ron was instantly hot with shame. Looking at Tang Mo’er now, she was such a queen, he didn’t even have the courage to approach her, or even say hi.
