The room door was pushed open and Lu Yeming stepped in, closing the door behind him. He leaned against the door, lifting his hand to touch her face. "You're trying to pretend nothing happened? Don't you know who I am, you think that I'll just let you be?"

Jun Xiqing pushed him away forcibly. "Where did you find my jade pendant?"

"Your jade pendant was found by a waiter along the corridor at the bar. This jade pendant is really valuable and so the waiter tried to sell it for cash, but I caught him in the act."

Jun Xiqing looked at him with wariness. "Really? That's it? So easily?"

Lu Yeming remained calm and collected, not even lifting a brow. "What else can there be?"

Hmm… Jun Xiqing looked at the jade pendant in her hands. There was nothing wrong with it, it was exactly the same as the one she had lost. Just to be sure, she walked over to stand under the light, lifting it up to carefully check the color and texture.

Hmpf. She didn't want to talk to him, not like she even had any energy to do so. She tried to get down the bed by herself, but the action, in itself was exhausting.

"Do you need me to carry you?" he suddenly asked.

It was apparent that he was in good spirits, he was probably very satisfied with yesterday night.

As she tried to ignore the pain, her teeth clenched as she got down the bed, walking past him to go to the bathroom. But as she passed by the bin, she suddenly stopped all movement.

"Where's the condoms we used last night?"

In response, Lu Yeming looked at her with the corners of his eyes, but he didn't say a word.

Jun Xiqing's eyes were on him, enunciating each word clearly, "Where are the used condoms?"

There weren't any in the bin, where had he thrown them?

Lu Yeming knitted his brows, slightly displeased. "I used them in front of you last night, why are you asking now?"

Jun Xiqing shook her head. No, she had fainted once last night. Who knew if he had done anything during that time?

He was a scary person.
