Chapter 999 - Jen

Buzz!

I freshened up and ate the breakfast I made with Ashlyn was about to go out when suddenly my holowatch buzzed, and I received the mails.

The mails are from the camp, and there are more than ten of them.

I was about to skip through them when I saw two emails marked important and when I opened 1st important mail, I was surprised to find it is for Ashlyn, though there is my name on it for Ashlyn.

"You have become quite famous, did you do something in the past few days?" I asked Ashlyn, who was lying on her stomach.

Chew Chew Chew…

She said she did not do anything, just flew around the mark. She did not even kill the Grimm monsters since I had asked her not to kill unless necessary if she came out of the tower before me.

'They must have seen her fight in the tower.' I said she is invited to a very important meeting. From the mail is worded, it is very strong people, preferably those who reached the 999th level and above.

I am right; the second important mail is common; it is inviting those who reached the 999th Level above for the important meeting.

As for how they verify who reached which floor, it is very simple the mark of the tower is still present on the wrist, one look at it is enough to know on which floor one had reached.

My mark of the Tower is completely red, means I had Conquered the Tower, those who have reached the 1000th flood but did not Conquer Tower will have White Tower and those who 999th floor will have a full yellow mark like others except where a faint white line on the top.

The meeting is at evening 8:00 PM sharp, and since it is morning, I have enough time. I Plan to head to the market and sell all my stuff, all the things I have, which I have no need for.

Usually, I don't sell stuff, but now I need a huge amount of resources, I am more than willing to empty up space.

I walked out of the camp to the market, which is bustling with millions of humans and Grimm Monsters walking around buying and selling stuff in thousands of shops that are present in the mark.

I booked the big empty space which I had got through a special ID, which they have provided to Ashlyn.

If I wanted to book this big space in the Market with ID, I would have to show my mark which would have wasted lots of time which I don't have.

I set a huge abode and started to place all the stuff I have; I am leaving nothing behind even selling the precious weapons like Cutters, I am leaving nothing behind that I do not have any us..

After I placed all the stuff, I sent hiring notice with the help of Ashlyn's Id, offering the price that is mouthwatering to even Adamantine.

Knock Knock…

I had just sent a notice when less than minutes knocked sounded on the door of the mansions.

I opened the door, and a pretty girl of chocolate complexion walked in; she is Peak Diamond with decent strength, wearing a full-body army with two black swords hanging by her waist.

When I looked at her, I found her very familiar. I feel like her face is similar to someone I know, but I couldn't tell who she looked similar to.

"Hello, you have posted for a job? I've come for the interview." the girl snapped as she found me weirdly staring at her, if I had been in her place I would have to snap if someone weirdly looked at me.

"Sorry, you just look very similar to someone I know," I said sheepishly as I apologized, hearing that expression on her face softened, "You must have confused me with my sister, we looked quite similar," she said with a small laugh.

When she said sister, something clicked into my mind, and I remember who she looked like. "You are Jen right, Kyla's sister, right?" I asked, to which she nodded.

She is Kyla Morgan's twin sister, Kayla is a friend whom I met in Milfred.

She was my team leader when Origin Transformative Crystals had appeared all over the Grimm Battlefield, and she had also come searching for me with the rest of the team when I disappeared into the forbidden Ground.

She had talked about her sister when she cursed on how Guild had sent her and twin sister to different cities.

I had talked to Kayla the day before I entered this ruin, she had talked about entering ruin with her sister and seeing her sister alone, it looked like they got separated again.

"Did you know my sister?" She asked, "Yes, your sister is a good friend of mine." I replied, "I am Micheal Zaar, by the way," I introduced myself and stretched my hands for a shake, but this time, it is her time to be stupid.

"You are Micheal." "Oh, thank you so much for giving that White Grade Origin Water to my sister, without it I wouldn't be here." She became emotional as I introduced myself.

"I am sorry for rude behavior earlier, I had been a little cranky since morning." she apologized. "No, problem," I said and quickly canceled the hiring notice since I found the person.

"Ive higher you because I want to man the shop and sell things I have, I've already made the detailed list about what I want in exchange for the stuff I have," I said and sent her a list.

"These are things you have to sell, and inside it, there is a small list about the things I need," I said. I sent the list and tapped the buttons on the holowatch and next moment.

The shutter I had placed on the stuff started to open; I had stuttered the stuff earlier so the people I interviewed would not get too enamored by them and not able to focus on the interview.

There are thousands of things most of them are the things that Tower gives as the reward, but there are things as well like for Weapons and precious which Ashlyn and I got from the Grimm Monsters that we have killed.

She is looking at the Adamantine level stuff. At the same time, shiny bright eyes, I could understand the allure a Diamond could have for the Adamantine Grand stuff, especially the tower.

"Did you rob the whole War Tower or something." She asked as she finally came to herself. "This is not even half of the stuff; most of the stuff is in the warehouse you have to fill then once they have sold.

Hearing that she again became dumbstruck, but this time, she came to herself quickly nodded like a cute chick.

"I will leave Ashlyn to help, you anyone asks for trouble to ask her to help," I said, she wanted to say something when I said Ashlyn would help but deal with the trouble, but she wisely shut her mouth when Ashlyn released her Adamantine Aura which again shocked the hell out of her.

Seeing her reaction, I smiled and walked toward the training hall; I had created in the abode.
