Monster Integration Chapter 1716

"Break!"
It shouted and moved its aura-covered arm back, stretching the strings further before shooting it forward toward the cage created by the lotus.
Its speed is not that fast, but the power contains in the attack is huge; even my strings from inside and outside, of trying their all to suck the power of this attack, they are not doing that great job. The power of the attack is too great that what they are sucking is a drop in a jug of water.
Bang!
The fist landed out the energy field of lotuses, and a ripple is created, which quickly disappeared as all the energy in the attack was quickly sucked by the lotuses and refined to be used in defenses of the cage.
There is no expression of happiness on my face seeing its attack failed as I know this is just a beginning. Its Bloodline is still consolidating inside it; every second, its strength increases immensely; the coming attacks would be very powerful.
Bang Bang Bang!
As I have said, just after it finished with its first attack, it moved its hand back and launched the second attack, which again created a huge ripple across the energy cage, which quickly got absorbed like the first attack.
Crockman did not get disheartened and continued with its attacks. Every attack of it would be powerful than a previous one. I feared that if the strength of its attacks continued growing like this, it wouldn't be long before it creates serious trouble for me.
'Why don't you come out, runes?' I asked as I waited for the runes. It had been more than thirty seconds since its Bloodline had awakened, and still, there is no sign of the runes.
Now, I really begin to have second thoughts about the decision I had made, but it too late to regret right now.

With its bloodline awakening, I had missed the chance of killing it. The Bloodline energy had surrounded my strings inside, and moving them the slightest became difficult. The only thing I could make them do is to suck as much bloodline energy they could to weaken it.
If its Bloodline had not been awakened, I would able to deal with it with some difficulties. Now, my strings are barely able to suck the Bloodline energy, and whatever they such is beginning to get replenish ten-time next second.
As the consolidation continued, it started to become more powerful, and it is creating huge vibration across the cage, and still, there is no sign of the runes which normally appeared within ten seconds, but now even after more than three minutes, I see no sign of them.
Hun!
I began to fear for the worst and started to make the preparation. That is when I noticed something inside me which shocked me greatly, and a small wry smile couldn't help but appear on my face; while that thing won't be able to help me against this bastard, but I would at least able to preserve my life against it.
BANG
Another attack landed on my cage energy field, and my expression turned the for the worst.
Crack Crack Crack
As the attack landed, the cracks begin to appear on the shield; not only the cracks appeared, but they also begin to spread with ripple.
I increase the energy I poured into the lotuses, which slowed down the cracks but still, the cracks able to spread nearly a meter around the point of impact before I was able to stop it.
BANG!
Crack Crack Crack
The cracks had just begun healing when another punch landed on the cage field, and cracks begin to spread out further at a greater speed.

''Fuck It!'
First Boost + Second Boost + Everwings + Third Boost
I was already using my power amplifying moves when I begin to burn my blood again. I have no other choice. If this bastard continued to reign down such powerful blows, it wouldn't take long for it to blast this cage apart.
I had to hold it back till it finished consolidation of its Bloodline; once it is done with that, its strength would not increase for a while at that time, I would whittle away its bloodline energy slowly and, when it weakened enough, kill it.
It is a dangerous plan, and I would not have dared to even think about it; If not for seeing those things inside me which somewhat guarantee my life. As for runes, I stopped hoping they would come out, seeing they have not shown after so much time.
BANG BANG BANNG
With me pouring my blood energy into the energy cage, the cage begins to heal rapidly that there are no cracks had remained when the next attack had stuck. The attack was more powerful than the attacks before and even cracks, but these cracks began to heal before they could even spread further.
A minute more had passed, and my condition has become worst than I had expected. Its strength had increased further than I had expected, and now even my blood energy was able to completely stop those cracks from spreading further.
BANNNG!
Crack Crack Crack
Another attack landed on the field, and within a second, the cracks had covered more than half of the cage, and before I could even stop the cracks from spreading further, I saw another attack coming to the field.
BANNNNG!
Crack Crack Crack
This attack had landed, and cracks begin to spread at even greater speed till they had covered the whole cage still kept spreading on whatever open surface they have found.
Seeing the state of my cage, I know it is over. In the next attack or the attack after that, the cage would collapse, and I won't be able to do anything against it.
"COLLAPSE!"
It shouted and raised its dens aura-filled arm to attack when it stopped for a fraction of a moment, continuing with its attack. I caught that faint movement, and I know the reason behind it; its Bloodline had finally consolidated, and I begin to prepare to burn my blood at a greater intensity to heal the damage of the cage.
Buzz!
Its fist was bare inches away from the energy field when suddenly I heard the familiar buzz from inside me; hearing that bright smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
