The tip of my sword was divided into seven parts and pieced through the heads of seven snake wraiths that appeared in front of me.

They all are Tyrant Wraiths, and all of their heads pierced through my vine swords and core brought out, turning them into the mist, in which some of it had entered my body, giving me hell-like pain.

This time, killing them, I did not even stop even for a moment and let my sword do my job. This battle had really shown me the way I could use my vine sword; I could use it in such a way that I could not use my totem sword.

These Tyrants are much weaker than the ones I had faced at the beginning of the chase. If it had come in such a large number, I would not have been able to kill it in such a way that I had killed these monsters.

The pain of the red mist hadn't faded in my body when another group of four Tyrant Wraiths appeared in front of me.

In them, two are hyena wraiths, one is bull wraths, and the other is an ape wraith, all of them attacked me ones before they could cover even half a distance at me, their heads got pierced, and core's got snatched.

This is happening every few second since they had started to chase me. The pain of mist never truly faded in my body, as there aways wrath to kill and their mist to absorb.

Not only that, I am crazily refining the energy, not only for my attacks but also for the seals of supreme combat exercise I am creating inside me. Those seals had an insatiable appetite; each seal needs a huge amount of energy.

I am now only an Amethyst seal away from gaining a ruby seal; once I get that Ruby Seal, I would just need another Ruby seal before I would be able to get my hands on the Third Diamond Seal, which is extremly beneficial to me.

When another group of monsters appeared in front of me and my vine sword again devided into many swords before piercing through them.

Time passed and I attacked more and more wraiths, it became quite easier with the passing time as these wraiths got weaker and weaker.

In our chase, only Tyrants are attacking us as only they could keep up with us, the level of our battle is too weak for the emperors to participate in.

Ten minutes passed by since wraiths begin chasing us and with me using all my speed to run away, I had reached near the boundary of the city, two minutes more and I will get out of this damned city and be able to free up from the chase of these powerful wraths.

There are more than twenty powerful wraiths are still chasing us and if not for Ashlyn help, they would have chewed me alive already.

Another minute passed and I could see the gate of the city, in my current speed it would need me forty to fifty seconds to pass through it, seeing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

BANG!

Suddenly smile on my face froze up and the ground burst out front of me, and from it, a huge Rat Wraith appeared, emiting aura from its body that no weakens than the wraiths that were chasing us.

ROARRRRRR!

It let out a weird ghostly roar and came at me; its speed is so blurring that it won't take even a second to reach me, and I won't be able to avoid its attack even if I want to.

Ashlyn is busy dealing with four powerful wraiths at this time, and from the looks, these dumb wraiths seemed to have planned it very carefully and it is a good plan, I will say.

Ashlyn wanted to come to help me, but I stopped her. If I could not deal with such a wraith, then all the power I had accumulated will be for naught.

'It looks like I will have to use that,' I said. I felt quite angry using that move with my current strength; with the current level of my strength, I should not have to use that move, but the enemy coming at me is powerful enough to force me to use that move.

'Third Boost!'

I activated the third boost, and a powerful sanguine aura burst out of me. The aura is so powerful that even Rat Wraiths' eyes constricted sensing it.

What level are my physical and soul power right now? It is unmatched in the Emperor stage, enhanced and purified by the treasures that others could only dream of, so the power I could burst with when I burn my essence could easily be imagined.

I scremed out loud as I moved at the Rat Wraith. As I did, my sword begins to grow, and within a fraction of a second, it reached ten meters in height and clashed again with the Rat Wraith!

A ripping sound rang out as my huge sword covering in sanguine silver flames rip through the Rat Wraith. It took less than a second for me to rip into two. The Rat Wraith did not even have a chance to scream before it ripped into two and disappeared from the world.

From the mist, I had caught its core which is dark red filled with dense energy, and at the same time, dark red mist entered my body and made me nearly screamed in pain.

The red mist from the Rat Wraith is extremly powerful, so powerful that it slightly made me disoriented in pain, but I had quickly controlled myself and moved toward the city gate at my stop speed.

On the way, I had attacked with even more Tyrant Wraiths, but these wraiths nothing in front of that Rat Wraith which I had slain a few seconds ago.

While they are nothing, the red mist from them increased the pain I am already feeling. It is a good thing I have been circulating the supreme combat exercise; otherwise, it would have been very hard to deal with such pain; the allure of benefits make one bear anything, even torturous pain.

Few seconds passed by, and finally, Ashlyn and I passed through the gate at blurring speed while monster wraiths behind us roared in indignation.
