The Vampire's Love: You Are My Destiny Chapter 314

The two women landed in the living room of the manor.
Menedelia brought Nini to the room where Zero was lying unconscious in the bed.
Ebony was sitting beside the bed during that time, putting wet clothe on Zero's head.
"What happened to him?" Menedelia asked.
"He got high fever," Ebony replied.
"This is the guy's wife, Nini. Please, teach her what to do. From now on, she will take care of her husband. This setup might help to speed up Zero's health and recovery," Menedelia said.
"No problem," Ebony said. She stood up and allowed the wife to occupy the chair and continue the task.
"Does he need to drink more medicine?" Menedelia asked.
"His next medicine will be in the next five hours. Right now, his body is undergoing all types of serious reactions due to the venom in his body..." Ebony explained.
"Alright, let's continue our conversation in the living room," Menedelia said. She looked at Nini and patted her shoulder. "We're going in the living room. If you need anything, give us a call," she said.
Nini nodded her head.
The two women left and went to the living room. They settled side by side on the couch.
Menedelia put the pouch filled with gold coins in her sister's hands.
"What's this?" Ebony asked, looking inside the pouch out of curiosity.
"Use the money to buy everything you need to bring the guy back to life," Menedelia said.
"But where did you get this lots of money?" Ebony asked in confusion.
"That is the payment I received after finding the missing husband in the forest while being attacked by the giant snake. My fortune-telling business is flourishing well in the town, and I got wealthy clients. That wife there inside the room paid me this huge money to find her missing husband in the forest, so please, used this money to buy food and stuff because they will be staying here temporarily until the husbands get better and can finally go home. Don't worry, the wife will give me more money in the future," Menedelia explained.
"Okay, as you say so," Ebony accepted the money without bombarding her older sister with questions. "I was about to visit you in the forest next week because we haven't seen each other for a long time. I never expected that you will visit me tonight and brought a dying man in here," she said.
"I'm sorry, sis. I have no one to turn to for help. Only you can save the guy's life," Menedelia said.

Ebony began yawning. "I feel sleepy," she said, looking at the clock hanging on the wall. "It's already midnight," she said. "Are you going to sleep here?" she asked.
"No, I'll go back to my place. I will return here in the morning to check on the couple. Go now in your room and take your rest," Menedelia said.
"Okay, I will inform Anastasia to sleep here on the couch so that she can assist the wife if she needs something," Ebony said and went to the kitchen to find her companion. She found Anastasia preparing the herbal medicine in the basket. "That's enough for tonight. Time to sleep! You can sleep on the couch in the living room tonight to assist the wife, just in case something goes wrong with her husband. If something goes wrong with the guy, don't hesitate to go to my room and wake me up," she gave her instructions.
"Got it," Anastasia replied and stopped what she's doing.
"Give the wife extra blanket and pillows," Ebony added.
"Okay," Anastasia responded with a nod of her head.
The women went upstairs.
Anastasia returned to the room with the blanket and pillows. She smiled at the wife. "Hello, my name is Anastasia...what's your name, my lady?" she asked in a friendly tone.
Nini looked at the woman and smiled back. "My name is Nini," she said.
"Nice meeting you, my lady. I brought you a blanket and pillow. You can sleep on the bed anytime if you're feeling sleepy since it's big enough for two people. If you need assistance with your husband or you notice something wrong with him, call me right away. I'm going to sleep on the couch in the living room so that I can assist you anytime, okay?"
Nini smiled. "Okay, thank you so much for your help, Anastasia," she said, feeling grateful for the friendly woman.
"If nothing else, I'll take my leave now," Anastasia left the room and gently shut the door behind her.
Menedelia entered the room and went to the bed. "How is he?" she asked, looking at Zero's pale complexion. She went to the end of the bed and examined his feet and his nails, they look the same, nothing had changed when it comes to the natural color. Her sister's medicine is indeed effective, 'coz if not, then Zero is already dead by now due to the amount of venom that entered his body.
"Thankfully, his fever has gone down. I keep putting the wet clothe on his head," Nini replied.

"Good! I'm going back to my place to check on Rebecca. I will sleep there in the forest and return here tomorrow morning. Don't hesitate to ask for help from Anastasia and my sister Ebony, they're good people, always willing to help anyone that needed their help. I'll go now," she said.
"Thank you so much, Granny, for all your help. I appreciated it very much," Nini said.
"Don't mention it," Menedelia spoke. "Take care of your husband well. Remember, do not remove the bracelet! Wear it even if you take a bath. Don't worry, it won't rot," she assured her.
Nini nods her head.
Menedelia exited the room and went to the couch, wanting to talk to her sister's companion. "Anastasia, can I talk to you for a few minutes...?" she asked.
Anastasia sits upright. "Yes, what is it, Granny?"
Menedelia opened her palms, fifty pieces of gold coins appeared in her hands, she put them on Anastasia's hands. "This is my gift for you. Thank you for taking good care of my sister, and I hope that you will also take good care of the couple in the room," she said.
Anastasia looked at the gold coins in her hands. For a lowly servant like her, seeing and owning such a huge amount of money is like a dream come true. "Granny, I dare not accept this huge amount of money! I don't deserve it!" she said shyly.
Menedelia smiled. "Keep it. It's my gift for you. You can buy all the things you want with that money," she said and rose to her feet. "I'll take my leave now..."
She walked into the hallway and disappeared, teleporting herself back into her place in the forest.
Back in the room.
Nini embraces her husband lightly.
"Husband, wake up soon! Please, fight to live, don't leave me alone too soon. I need you!" she whispered in his ears over and over again, crying silently.
It was already 3:00 in the morning when Nini finally succumbed to a night of deep sleep.

The following day.
At Menedelia's fortress.
She woke up to a beautiful morning, the sun is already up, and she heard the birds singing outside the house. She opened the window to let the sunshine in.
Her nose caught the aroma of a delicious dish. She left her room and went to the kitchen. She found Rebecca cooking breakfast.
She took a glass and filled it with drinking water. "I'm sorry I arrived late last night. When I went to your room, you're already asleep, so I didn't wake you up," she explained.
Rebecca smiled. "No need to explain, Granny. You must be having a busy day yesterday, I understand," she said.
"Is everything okay here?" Menedelia asked.
"Yup!"
"How about the twins inside your tummy?" she asked.
"They're fine," Rebecca replied cheerfully.
"Good! I'll go outside again today. I'm going to be busy for a while. But I will come here every night to sleep," Menedelia said.
"No problem, just take care of yourself out there," Rebecca said and set the table. She put the dish in the serving bowl. "Let's eat!" she said.
Menedelia picked up the spoon and fork then put rice on the platter. When she scooped the dish... she noticed something... her eyes widened... broccoli and tidbits of pork! She looked at Rebecca sharply. "D-did you went to the market today?" she asked.
"Yes. I'm sorry, Granny, I'm craving for broccoli and pork stewed dish, so I teleport to the market and buy these stuff, I returned here quickly. I keep myself hidden, I used clothing to cover my face. The enemy won't notice my appearance. Besides, I didn't stay long there. I'm fine... there's nothing to worry about me," Rebecca said and began eating her meals.
Menedelia released a deep sigh. "Next time, if you want to go to the market, tell me. I'll accompany you there," she said. Since she can't prevent Rebecca from leaving the forest anytime because she's getting busier with Zero and Nini's affairs, she might as well compromise with her.
Rebecca smiled, pleased that Granny is now willing to bring her to the market. "Okay. I'll tell you next time if I want to buy something in the market," she said.
Menedelia took a deep breath and began eating her breakfast.
Half an hour later. The women finished eating.
Menedelia visited her vegetable garden to check on them, while Rebecca took care of the dirty dishes in the kitchen. Afterward, they do the laundry together and put them in the clothesline to dry.
One hour later.
Menedelia spoke to Rebecca. "I'll go now, she said.
"Take care of yourself out there, Granny," Rebecca replied.
"You too, and don't go to the market without me!" Menedelia reminded her.
"Okay, I won't," Rebecca assured her.
Menedelia heaved a sigh and initiated the teleportation process in her mind. She vanished in front of Rebecca in the blink of an eye.
