/Inferno: Jun Li: DPS back on the bosses. Let's see what happens at 60 percent!

Shae watched the health on the bosses. The DPS break had given everyone a chance to replenish their mana supply. Slowly but steadily the percentages started to drop again.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Spawns on the North Side! Get over there!

Nx started to move when 8 respawns popped in the middle. Immediately 12 emerald flame strands shot out of his hands and encircled four of them.

"I'll support you Nix!" Rhy cast Whirlwind and sent the remaining four spinning in place.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Take the North spawns! They're attacking the healers!

Ronnie placed targets on four of them.

/Inferno: Ronnie: Attack my target!

Mina Assigned her Vila to protect the Northside healers, she glanced back at Rhy and Nix. They were holding eight more between them.

Chael placed bullseyes on the remaining Northside spawns.

/Inferno: Chael: Attack my target!

The DPS finished off the Northside spawns and then moved toward the middle to take care of the ones that were being controlled by Nix and Rhylia. Mina let her Vila finish off the spawns that Nix was holding. The last four were easily burned down as everyone targeted them.

/Inferno: Shae: 62 percent on both bosses.

At 60 percent, neither boss made a move. Slowly their power started increasing and their health began to recover.

/Inferno: Shae: 61 percent. What's going on?

Sharl has been slain.

Banz jumped in to fill the void, while Fajii sprinted toward Inferno's best tank.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Ideas? Their health is climbing and they are getting stronger!

/Inferno: Nix: The opposite! Try pushing them both toward the middle!

Nix moved behind the Ape and put 12 emerald strands on him. His Aquarion team grabbed the legs of the struggling Ape and started dragging him toward the middle. On the Southside, Morti was using a steady supply of two-handed slaps to drive his boss toward the middle also.

/Inferno: Shae: Both at 60 percent again.

/Inferno: Jun Li: It's working! Push them towards each other.

The dps kept whittling away at the health of the bosses, their health started dropping in huge chunks; by the time they were within 50 meters of touching, both at 40 percent. At that time the two White Apes charged past each other and switched sides.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Tanks and Healers stay on your original boss. Switch sides.

Both Apes stopped when the reached the walls. They turned and beat their chests, the sound echoing through the valley like thunder.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Double Rage! Pinkie fall back and help support Sharl! Turn up the DPS!

/Inferno: Shae: 38 percent on both bosses!

In the middle 8 mobs spawned. All of them were fliers. Nix managed to get strands around four of them. He dug his heels in as they dragged him toward the North healers.

/Inferno: Nix: Kill theses? Or let them despawn?

Jun Li studied the current scene. Both bosses raging, eight fliers that were splitting up and moving toward the healers.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Kill them now. Range fighters bring them down!

Mina sent split up her Vila and sent half to each boss.

Chael and Ronnie focused their damage on the filers heading North. They were almost to the healers when Fey appeared out of thin air and raked them with fire, instantly finishing off two of them.

On the Northside, the Ape that Morti had been defending suddenly tossed him to one side and charged toward the middle. His counterpart on the Southside did the same thing to Sharl, both Apes charging at each other in a full run.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Evac the middle now!

Shae, Fajii, Mina, and Rhy quickly retreated, the Apes seemed to have no intention of slowing down. An instant later they slammed into each other, the impact leveling the entire raid except for Shae, Fajii, Mina, and Rhy. The Air Nemesis had managed to throw up an air barrier around them.

Nix climbed back to his feet. His health was down past half.

[Combustion]

A soft green light settled around Nix, recovering a good portion of his health.

He turned back toward the middle and stopped, like everyone else in the Raid. The two White Apes had combined to form one giant White Ape.

Ced'Far the Magnificant. Thirty feet of angry Ape, four long arms, the bottom two were dragging on the ground.

/Inferno: Shae: His health dropped when he combined. He's at 15 percent.

/Inferno: Jun Li: All healers cycle your heals on Morti. Range damage only. Healers stay at max range.

/Inferno: Shae: Now Nix...

Nix moved closer to Rhy who was already casting.

[Perfect Barrier]

Rhy has placed a perfect Air Barrier around Nix.

Rhy made a second gesture.

[Wind Tunnel]

The transparent Orb that Nix was in, suddenly disappeared.

Nix touched the sides of the orb, watching the ground as it got further away. When it reached its apex he activated his bloodline.

[Second Form: Salamander]

High overhead an explosion of Emerald flames covered the sky. A strong wave of destruction pushed toward the ground. Rhy placed a barrier over the raid, it shattered immediately but was able to absorb nearly all of the power.

The Emerald Salamander floated slowly down with the effect of feather fall.

Morti stared at the huge Ape, a rumble sounding deep in his chest.

[Rage]

A Titan has appeared on the battlefield. Mortimer's strength has doubled. Intimidation is in effect, all opposing creatures will be unable to Rage.

Inferno froze for a moment as the bear doubled in size.

[Absolute Challenge]

Ced'Far must attack Mortimer for the next minute.

[Absolute Defense]

All incoming damage is reduced by half.

[Titan Slap]

Mortimer's enormous paw slammed into the side of the Ape's face, driving him back a step.

/Inferno: Jun Li: This is it. Full DPS! Burn this bitch down!

All of Inferno targeted Ced'Far with their strongest damage as the valley exploded in a hail storm of fire and blood.

Nix sent several thick strands of green flame moved toward Ced'Far, stabbing deep into his neck. He retracted them immediately and repeated the movement while he floated downward, red blood gushing out of great gaping holes.

[Fire and Air Seeker]

Shae and Rhy joined hands, sending a glowing projectile speeding toward the creature's face. It howled in agony when the burning missile burned through Ced'Far's left eye.

Nix landed and moved swiftly toward Rhy, when he arrived he spun quickly and sent several thick strands of emerald flame into Ced'Far's stomach.

Rhy was smiling when she lay a hand on his shoulder.

[Air Expulsion]

The barbed ends of the strands exploded outward, bursting his stomach apart as blood and gore splattered in all directions.

Ced' Far the Magnificent has been slain.

Colonial System Message: Congratulations to Inferno for defeating Ced' Far the Magnificent on the 69th floor. Inferno now advances to the 70th floor. All guilds on the 69th floor are moved to the 71st.

Nix stared at his guild, with the exception of the few who were standing next to Rhy, they were completely covered with blood and gore. He started laughing when he saw Min, her white hair was red with blood. "Serves you guys right for laughing at me."

Slowly, the smiles started to come out and then cheers, as the raid celebrated their victory over the 69th level.

Mina approached him slowly, her feet seemed to be dragging. She knelt down on one knee and placed a hand on Nix's emerald head. "Beautiful Nix, absolutely beautiful."

Pon was the next to arrive, his normally fierce demeanor faded in the presence of Nix's Salamander form. "Amazing Nix. These old eyes have never seen such a thing."

/Inferno: Jun Li: One and done. Damn guys, you are so awesome I want to cry.

Nix dropped his Salamander form and approached the fallen boss.

[Do you wish to skin Ced'Far the Magnificant?]

"Yep."

[1Titanic Ape Skin has been added to your inventory.]

"Gross, absolutely not. Let's see what else he has." Nix activated the loot icon.

The jungle faded around them and the entire raid was instantly returned to the staging area. Nix unsummoned the sleeping Morti but not before everyone in the raid took the chance to pat his furred head.

/Inferno: Pon: Shall we go check out the 70th floor?

/Inferno: Nix: In three days. Morti will sleep till then, he's earned the right to see it with us.

/Inferno: Jun Li: I agree. Amazing job all around guys.

/Inferno: Nix: Good job Junie, you are the best around.

/Inferno: Semmi: Ain't that the truth. Great job Junie.

/Inferno: Nix: We'll take the whole guild to the 70th floor in three days. Lifestyle players too.
