Nix waited while the group made their way back to them. During that time, he tried gating and stowing the orbs away in his inventory, neither one of those could be done.

/Inferno: Nix: Semmie and Ronnie come and see me immediately. At the tunnel intersections, go through the far-right and then the middle, middle. The last passageway leads to the cavern where we are.

/Inferno: Semmi: Another breach opened up a few minutes ago, as soon as we finish them we'll be on our way.

[Whisper Nix to Vooni] Need some advice if you have the time.

[Whisper Vooni to Nix] Go ahead.

[Whisper Nix to Vooni] Deidra Mtui gave me a few drops of her blood. I understand that it has many uses, what are the most significant?

[Whisper Vooni to Nix] If it were me, I'd consume all of it. Dragon blood enhances everything, including existing blood in a descendant like me. If I had more than a few drops, I would consume no more than five and save the rest for spirit companions.

[Whisper Nix to Vooni] Thanks. Hey... How's Fajii doing?

[Whisper Vooni to Nix] She's great, smart, and hard-working. She'll be a significant force in my Fire team.

[Whisper Nix to Vooni] Say hi to everyone.

When the rest of the Hunter team arrived, Nix had them wait. "We have a few things to discuss, and then we are taking a trip."

Ronnie and Sem arrived a few minutes later. The dark-skinned archer seemed more serious than usual.

"From this moment forward, no one repeats anything discussed here without asking me. Not even with other officers." Nix held out his hand and displayed the three 'marbles' he pulled out of his friends.

Ronnie took one from his hand and held it between her fingers. "What is it?"

"I think it called Spectrum, but I don't know for sure. My friends thought it was more important than their lives. Try stowing it in your inventory."

"Holy crap." Ronnie must have attempted it; her face showed her surprise. "It has to be hand-carried?"

Nix nodded, "not only that, you can't gate or use any magic while carrying it. By the same token, no magical spells will affect you, that includes both attacks and healing."

Semmi put her hand out and held it in her palm. "I don't sense any energy. What's the big deal?"

"My friend said it was the culmination of hundreds of years of work. Take these three orbs to the Gemini Temple and store them in the altar."

Semmi put out her hand for the rest of the orbs. "We going to walk back to Haven?"

"I'm going to open a Breach. Hopefully, you can step through it with the orbs. " Nix didn't even want to consider what would happen if they couldn't.

"I'll take any scales you have if I'm going back anyway. " The blond officer was also holding all of the dragon scales. "Anything else?"

Nix nodded and turned to Ronnie. "The Great Libraries share books and knowledge?"

"Yes. I can access anything that other Great Libraries have. That would be the hud version of their books."

"What about research? We need to find out about a few things, but it has to be done without alerting anyone that we are searching."

Ronnie offered him a smile. "All searches in my library are hidden. Not only is the searcher anonymous, but so are the topics. I can research anything, and no one will know."

"Find out anything you can about Spectrum, Everspire, Fallen, and Dragonblood." Nix gestured toward his group. "We are going to jump into the Tainted Breach."

Semmi swore under her breath. "I want to go on an adventure Nix!"

Nix patted her on the back. "We have to get you out of here. I believe the orbs are tracked. The Tainted will keep coming through the Breaches as long as we have them."

Ronnie drew her bow and moved closer to Semmi. "We'll get them home. Any chance they can track them once we are in Haven?"

Nix shook his head. "Doubtful, but I'll have Elune put the Temple on alert. I'll open a breach, keep me notified."

[Create Breach: Haven: Gemini Temple]

Nix watched the breach appear, and a moment later, Ronnie and Sem stepped through it. Immediately he started running toward the exit. "Let's get back and hope for another Tainted Breach."

[Whisper Nix to Elune] Put the Temple on high Alert. We are storing something valuable, and there's a chance it could be tracked.

[Whisper Elune to Nix] Nothing can be tracked to the Gemini Temple while it resides in Haven, but I will do as you wish. We are now on high Alert.

[Your Gemini Temple has been placed on HIGH ALERT, active patrols will continue around the clock until the alert is canceled.]

Hunter team rejoined the rest of Inferno a few minutes later. According to Semmi, there had been three breaches about five minutes apart. All of them had occurred in the same area. Wylie took them to the location.

He felt a hand on his arm and turned to see Ducky's smiling face. "Are we going also, Nix?"

"No. I'll send you back to Haven before I leave."

Morti's big head pushed into him, causing Nix to take a step back. "I should go with you, Nix! What if you need me to protect you?"

Nix grinned and hugged the bear's neck; his arms weren't long enough to reach around. "Don't worry. I'll bring you guys in if I need back-up."

/Inferno Nix: Hunter Team is going to investigate the origin of Breach. We could use more information about what is going on.

/Inferno: Wylie: What are our orders after you depart?

/Inferno: Nix: Finish off the Tainted that comes through the breach, and then I want everyone to leave.

/Inferno: Locas: Do you want to take a few rangers with you, Sir?

/Inferno: Nix: No. Be sure to erase any apparent signs that we were here. I don't want anything left behind that will point to us.

Nix brought up his Sabotage menu and ignited the Contained Firebombs. This set off a chain reaction causing the collapse of the cavern after everything was scorched clean. The ground shook for a few moments while dust and smoke shot out of the only entrance.

/Inferno: Locas: The Rangers will handle the clean-up once the rest of Inferno leaves.

/Inferno: Nix: Perfect. We may be out of touch for a while, but I plan on returning by this evening.

[Whisper: Semmi to Nix] The orbs are stored in the altar. I put the dragon scales in the treasury.

[Whisper: Nix to Semmi] Thanks.

The team only had to wait a few minutes before a breach appeared. Nix could sense it opening a moment before it appeared.

/Hunter: Nix: On me!

Nix ran toward the spot and was going through just as the Tainted were exiting. Milat and Sharl bowled a few of them over, but everyone made it through.

The team experienced a moment of vertigo before crashing heavily onto the cobblestone street.
