The couple stepped out of the breach an instant later. Nix waved at the Acolytes that approached when they entered.

"Are we here to pick up peppers?" Shae smacked her red lips together, her brown eyes showing excitement.

Nix kept a hold on her hand, just in case she bolted for her garden. "No, we need to deliver something deep into the ground."

A few minutes later they entered Shae's Elemental world. Shae glanced longingly at her garden. "On the way back we can stop?"

Nix nodded. "This is an Ice creature Shae, we need to place her where she will be surrounded by a powerful counter-element."

Shae gave him a quick kiss before stepping away and assuming her Salamander form. The fire around her blazed hot and she tunneled straight into the ground. "At the bottom of my Elemental world there is a Fire seed, I added to it several times since I became an Archon."

Nix followed behind her, his Gemini Flame aura blazing brightly. They traveled downward for a few minutes before entering a large orb of molten rock. Nix took out the case containing the heart of Winter and placed it carefully. "I only place it here because it will be constantly monitored."

Shae nodded in agreement. She would know the moment any Ice fluctuations took place in her world. "It's where I would have recommended Nix."

After stopping to pick up some Ghost peppers for Shae, Nix opened a breach directly to Fabri's village.

No one was surprised when the Inferno's Fire couple returned. Nix and Shae joined the Gemini group that was sitting around the fire with Raka, Fabri and a few Ashobel.

Fabri, the Ice Mage stood when he approached. "Thank you, Nix. Although the Heart of Winter has been lost to us, you have managed to save the Ashobel."

Nix offered her a hand. "We did what we could."

His hands instantly changed into large furred hands with wickedly sharp claws. Nix held them up to show Shae, she already had her own pair on.

Shae had a big smile on her face. "Can you fireproof these Nix?"

"Probably." Nix noticed that everyone was trying them on. "Okay, these are pretty cool."

Nix's smile faded when his eyes fell on Mina. Her face showed signs of cuts and scrapes, there was some heavy bruising on one side of her face.

[Whisper: Nix to Fajii] What happen to Mina?

[Whisper: Fajii to Nix] Her and Aki have had to be separated twice. Mina keeps attacking her.

[Whisper: Nix to Fajii] Okay... What am I missing here?

[Whisper: Fajii to Nix] I only know that it makes Mina angry when someone refers to you as the Cora'Zai.

"Ready to go home Zinu?" Nix had forgotten that her people must be worried about her.

Zinu shook her head. "Whenever you are ready Nix. I've seen so much the past day." She understood now why her Clan had been handled so easily, every member of Inferno seemed to thrive under pressure. Her eyes moved towards the dark-skinned teen, he had been watching her often with his alien eyes. She found him beautiful.

After feasting on meat, the team said their goodbyes before Nix opened a breach. Raka stopped him and shook his hand with a huge paw.

"Thank you, Nix. You've done your best for me."

"Okay Pathfinders, thanks for the assistance." Nix waited until they left and then closed the Breach. The Aquarions were going to stay in the city but Nix had decided to against it.

/Gemini: Nix: I want to put this city in the air, but the time isn't right yet.

[Whisper: Shae to Nix] You should talk with Mina.

[Whisper: Nix to Shae] I will. Keep an eye on things here for a bit.

"Relax at the Inn until I get back, you're with me, Mina." Nix turned toward the Infusion entrance without saying anything further. The leader of the Souza Accord followed without saying anything.

Mina sped up to walk beside him. "Do you need my help with this Nix?"

Nix shook his head. "No. I can't have you attacking Aki while I'm gone either."

Mina's pale face flushed slightly. "That stupid woman. She won't stop saying it."

Nix grabbed her hand and squeezed slightly. "Why so angry? Her saying it's true doesn't make it so."

"I know." Mina untied her messed up hair and let it hang down her back. She pulled his hand until Nix was forced to stop. "The Cora'Zai is killed in the last battle Nix. There may be a lot of confusion in the prophecy, but everyone agrees with that part. The Cora'Zai is completely destroyed."

Nix shrugged. "Then I won't be it.

Mina pale eyes shone with emotion as she nodded slowly. "Let's someone else do that."

"See? No need to get angry or fight over it." Nix shook her hand loose and continued down the ramp.

"Hey." Mina matched his stride, a smile finally warming her face. "Don't forget our agreement, we have a daughter to raise."

Nix laughter echoed in the tunnel. "How can I? You remind me every few days."

Mina nodded. "Shae said I should do that."

"You made that up." Nix stole a glance at her.

"Fine. I made it up." Mina frowned slightly, her thoughts going to the Archons found on Aquarius. "What are you going to do with Aki and her squad?"

"I don't want them to join the Aquarion population, they are Archons after all." Nix opened his Breach Commander Interface. "They will join Ishna in Oasis."

A full-body holo of Semmi popped up in front of Nix, from her appearance she was obviously fishing. "You're late Nix!"

"I know, killing dragons is time-consuming. You have it?"

Semmi nodded. "Bring me in boss."

[Create Breach: Haven: Aquarius City, Infusion Chamber]

Semmi stepped into the chamber a moment later and offered the two occupants a bright smile. "Heya guys."

Nix held out his hand and Semmi gave him the tiny pellet. They both watched as Nix carefully inserted the spectrum. "Don't look so nervous, I've seen this done at least once before."

The spectrum disappeared with a steady hum that told Nix full power had been restored. The City Interface hud popped up in front of him.

[Aquarius Interface Online: Reboot all systems?]

"No. Display all main systems." Nix didn't know how to jump Aquarius through a breach yet, but later on he'd have to figure it out.

"Isn't one spectrum enough to power all 25 Dragon Cities?" Semmi was happy to be rid of the pellet, it had been nerve-wracking carrying it from the Gemini Temple.

"Yes. However, the cities have to be in Everspire in order for me to use Inferno to bring them up." Nix would use the third spectrum for Icaraphet and then work on joining them together. "For now this city will have to remain beneath the ice."
