Chapter 245 - Acceleration
After assigning the abilities of the Seven Deadly Sins to the chosen few, Noah moved forward with the next phase of his plans, the upgrade of the Spiritual Land that would have occurred days from now!
He still held with him the wondrous pill making technique, the {Forge of the Silver Flame} that he received from Sect Master Inuit of the Karmic Sect. His thoughts lingered on this figure that continued to be veiled in mysteries as he moved forward, harvesting the many fields that were holding ripe [Ice Phoenix Fruits] as they quickly entered the transparent cauldron with burning silver flames.
It did not take too long before the [Ice Phoenix Pills] he had made for the first time not too long ago were born again, the process being even faster this time as the many abundant fields all over the Spiritual Land were emptied out faster and faster, a nonsensical amount of mana going into the {Forge of Silver Flame} as more and more radiant pills appeared in the surroundings.
The beasts of the Spiritual Land were excitedly looking at this scene, the smell alone that was drifting from the pills already making them send voracious looks. Noah flicked his fingers as the pills flew towards the beasts the moment they finished being made, wanting to get the upgrade of the Spiritual Land as soon as possible for the upgrade of the Time Space from the 1:5 ratio of time and into the 1 to 10 ratio that only appeared after the upgrade into the Fifth Tier.
The process was smooth, exactly the same as what had occurred before as the Emperor Penguin was the first to break through and reach the Phantasmal Rank once more, with its brothers and sisters following soon after.

The pills were extremely effective for the beasts of the Spiritual Land, but they still provided spectacular boosts in strength similar to cores for other beings. The holders of the Seven Deadly Sins that were still on the Spiritual Land shockingly watching Noah perform this brand new technique as the resplendent pills flew towards them as well, with the Calamities of the Sea not being far behind.
The process of breakthroughs into the Phantasmal Rank did not take too long for the beasts of the Spiritual Land, soon meeting the requirement as Noah began putting the required mana into the Spiritual Land that had sensed the requirements for the next stage to be met.
Vibrations and a gorgeous show of lights followed thereafter as soon enough, a gloriously improved Spiritual Land that let out a much grander light than before shining brightly above the Demon Capital.
The achievement of the Rank 5 Spiritual Land was thus achieved just a few hours after his return, with many more days left before the horrendous events took place in the World of Cultivation.
With this goal being met, Noah appeared in the extravagantly large Time Space that he could now spend 10 days in with only a single day passing outside. He would be spending the majority of his time from now on in this space as he trained himself to become even stronger!
He had an abundant amount of skills, with a few new ones to peruse through when he thought about the bloodied Celestial that he devoured. His goal was to max the proficiencies of his current skills, and then combine them until he felt confident enough to move forward.
It might be boring and strenuous, but it did not matter! Carefulness and much planning was exactly what he required from now on, as something like what had occurred in the Devilish Abode could never be allowed to happen again.

His mind focused as he first perused through the memories of the Celestial. His gaze shifted from calm to shock as he went through the memories, getting just a small glimpse of the Power that he knew as the Celestials.
Something even more frightening was that for some of the memories where the Celestial Drax was subserviently talking to other beings, these others beings were vortexes of darkness that Noah could actually not observe from the memories!
He was shocked to find that a sort of power that could even block others from perusing stolen memories existed, as many of the memories of the young Celestial Disciple were actually blank voids of darkness whenever they involved higher-ups, or his Master!
This was yet another wake-up call for the many mysterious powers he was not knowledgable of, but he was still able to significantly expand his network of information with the memories that entailed the life of this young Celestial.
For example, he now knew the Planet where one of the many powers of the Celestials was stationed! He knew the identities of which beings were connected to the Celestials from the vast worlds across the Universe, and even more importantly, he knew which Cultivators from the World of Cultivation were connected to the Celestials!
This was extremely important information that he could use to his advantage, but there were also many things he could not do. Firstly, unless he wanted to die within a few seconds, he could not even step foot on the planet where he saw the young Celestial Drax talking to the darkness that was his master. The planet was monitored so closely that not even a fly could slip in.
But there were many more things he could do with the memories, especially things that aligned with his goals in the Word of Cultivation. He continued to peruse through the memories as he planned, at the same time checking out the skills he could choose from the Devoured celestial.
Two extravagantly shining skills appeared in front of him, one unique and one Ultimate, the Celestial truly living up to their names of being powerful.
UNIQUE {Celestial Aura} An aura only for those blessed with a special fate. The aura can be manipulated to strengthen oneself or weaken one’s enemies, as well as provide healing to those it encompasses.
ULTIMATE {Eye of Fate} A skill geared towards helping the user achieve their most favorable fate. Abilities include [Domineering Fate], [Empowering Fate], and [Displacement of Fate]
A spectacular set of skills appeared in front of his eyes as he began the long process of understanding his newly gained skills, the uses of >, and the practice and constant combinations of the skills that were capable of being combined.
It would be long and arduous, but it was required.
30 days passed like this in the Time Space of the Spiritual Land.
Only 3 days had passed in the outside world!

--Follow a bandit prone to making poor choices in life. He lives in a somewhat medieval age where steel is king, blood is shed fairly lightly, and weakness gets you punished fast. But that's okay. As long as he has his sword, he'll be fine. Right? --This story is tragic and contains some depictions of violence and nudity. The attitudes of the characters don't represent my views and some of them are highly questionable. Due to these reasons, I've flagged the story as adult content. --I've been working on Live by the Sword since as far back as 2012 and it is my first actual effort at completing a book. Maybe I'll stick with it and there will be paperbacks of it some day. Who knows. Either way, I hope the words I tell give you amusement and perhaps some cause to think. Cheers.
