Chapter 308 - See it to the End!

Noah heard the resounding words of the Guardian of Blood as he looked at the shining outline of numerous coagulating veins and arteries connected to a shimmering red heart that signified the Bloodline of the Royal Vampyres, something that the Vampyre King himself held alone in the Underworld!

The rewards of the 5th level gave one this Bloodline, and numerous techniques that were in these newly appearing Inheritance Stones. These alone were the rewards for clearing this last level! Noah’s heart was now asking for, no- longing for, the rewards of the last level of this Inheritance of the Blood Progenitor!

It was not just greed for more, but simply because he needed strength and unique powers that he had never thought of before just to be able to stand against the force he wanted to go against. He needed strength that could be domineering to his enemies, similar to how he had dominated the numerous Blood Beasts on the past 5 levels just now.

He needed to be even more overpowered than he was right now!

"I will see this trial to the end!"

His strong voice reverberated through the expansive Coliseum as the Guardian of Blood looked at him silently, its voice ringing out only a moment later.

"It is impossible for you to clear the 6th level."

There was a firmness in its tone that seemed to be inviolable, it was a tone that was that of someone simply stating the truth!

"Human, you have continued to surprise me and you now even have the chance to take away the stupendous rewards of the Bloodline of a Vampyre Royalty, along with the Absolute Techniques of the Progenitor. You have earned my respect and wholeheartedly deserve the rewards for your amazing battle power, but I will once more advise you heavily against relinquishing your rewards and trying the last level."

The tone was firm, but had actually obtained a small ounce of pleading for this small genius in front of the Guardian of Blood that should not die after coming this far.

"I have nothing against you, and believe you will become a great character in the future with the abilities you have and the rewards you have gained from here. You joining the ranks of Vampyres makes you one of us, so I implore you once more...do not attempt the 6th level."

An impasse was reached as a Guardian did not want to see a genius about to join the forces of Vampyres waste his life away, while the genius believed in himself so much so that nothing would stand in his way to obtain the ultimate prize!

Noah took a calm break in the skies of the expansive Coliseum as he turned his eyes away from the shining and pulsating Bloodline being advertised in front of him, the even more seductive inheritance stones holding unknown techniques fading from his sight as he focused on the Guardian of Blood and stated once more.

"I will see this trial to the end."

It was a voice of calm and conviction, one that knew exactly what it wanted!

OOOOM!

Essence reverberated as the Guardian of Blood adopted an impassive face, standing up straight as its imposing 30 meters came to be even more pronounced. It smashed down the long spear in its hands once more as the numerous lakes of blood around the Inheritance Grounds trembled, the blood contained within the lakes shooting out as they all went towards one direction- towards the tremendously large giant!

WAA!

Majestic waves of power erupted as the numerous lines of blood wrapped around the Guardian of Blood, coming together to exquisitely create a glistening suit of armor inlaid with ancient runes. The spear in its hands trembled as it became even wider, the spear end becoming even sharper as it shone with a bloodthirsty hue.

"The Inheritance Grounds that Master left behind are not just a place for young Vampyres to upgrade their Bloodline purity and gain more techniques."

Waves of power released from the body that was now fully covered with armor all around, a transformation complete as the Guardian of Blood that had no aura all this time...had actually gained one!

"Ultimately, it was Master’s goal to find a once in a lifetime genius who fit his conditions, obtaining everything he left behind as he would task them with the task of returning the splendor of Vampyres to the center stage once more."

SHAA!

The Guardian of Blood waved its tremendously long spear forward as waves that left ruptures in space spread out, its spear pointing directly towards Noah!

"If you were a Vampyre to begin with, if the rules of this Inheritance Ground allowed me to use loopholes, you might have been that genius who would have taken Master’s mantle. But...the difficulty is multiplied for you, thus for the final stage...you shall face me."

WAAA!

Majesty spread out as the Guardian of Blood took a unique stance, the spear in its hand gleaming and calling for blood as it seemed ready to pierce everything in front of it in an instant!

Noah floated in the skies as bloody winds billowed around him, his gaze fully taking in this newly armored Guardian of Blood as the immense aura it was letting out was one at the Soul Forging Realm!

Not Saint, not Void, but at the Soul Rank!

Noah had come across a few Soul Rank beings in the past few days since leaving the First Realm of Hell, but none of them came even close to the feeling of immensity he was feeling as he observed this Guardian in front of him.

Yet, even with this exceedingly dangerous development, even with the knowledge of he was standing against him and stupendous rewards out of his wildest dreams...a wide smile covered his face!

This was because he knew that the things he worked hardest to obtain, would be the ones that have immense value. From the words of the Guardian of Blood, the rewards for clearing this last stage...would be truly immense.

But the question still remained, how would a being at the Saint Rank fare against someone two levels higher, someone that was now furious at not being listened to and was using their full permitted power in the battle?

"Hooo..."

Noah breathed out calmly in the face of this terrifying aura at the Soul Forging Realm that did not scare him one bit. The only thing on his mind was a few thoughts that were shocking to imagine.

’I guess this is as good a time as any to test that out.’

A grand expression covered Noah’s face as essence began to erupt all around him, beginning a transformation himself as his gaze focused on the Guardian of Blood that would erupt at any time!
