Chapter 442 - Plucking Treasures Left and Right

When the hours were passing as his clone neared a particular waterfall where treasures laid within, Noah’s main body had plucked another treasure in the Sanctum.

In the dwelling that he was in, there was an expansive bed that would put even a memory foam mattresses to shame, his well-built body was covering the things below his waist as a senior sister that had lost her usual ponytail, her glimmering dark hair sprawled out in a rough manner as she rested her head on Noah’s chest.

"You know, a junior brother should not be doing those types of things to his Senior Sister."

Athena spoke with a light tone as she had an expression of relaxation, her fingers tapping on the defined abdominal muscles as she counted with a cloudy expression.

"It was the least I could do. The only thing I’ve seen you do is battle and cultivate that I was starting to wonder if you had it in yo-"

A light slap landed on his chest as Noah stopped his sentence, Athena looking towards him with a threatening expression as he smiled and stared at the ceiling. A second later, he spoke again, this time in a softer tone.

"I am curious about something though, in regards to the news of Grandmaster Luo. I did not expect you to react the way you did."

Athena raised her head slowly as her cloudy eyes looked at Noah’s, replying with a sigh as her curvaceous body that was always hidden from the eyes of many stood up, a simple robe wrapping around her thereafter as she began fixing her hair back into a ponytail.

"It is what fate laid in store, so I don’t particularly have any strong feelings."

Her tone was reminiscent and slightly cold as she spoke, Noah’s eyes shining as he continued.

"He was the one to find you in your ruined world and take you to become a Celestial, I thought it would hit you hard."

"We know the risks we take in order to maintain balance in this galaxy of ours. Fate is written for some of us to fall, and some of us to continue towards a larger goal. We lost a great Grandmaster, and we will be sure to make those responsible pay for it, using it as an opportunity to bring about even more order!"

Athena replied strongly as even when faced with the death of the being that took her from her star to become a Celestial, she viewed it the same as how she viewed her disciples that died during the last Infernal Hunt.

What she didn’t know was that those disciples and even the recent Grandmaster Luo had all perished from Noah’s hands!

The biggest thing was not this though. In Noah’s mind, the biggest boon he received from killing Grandmaster Luo was the memories he obtained, the memories that told him the true story behind the planet that this War Princess was on, as well as Grandmaster Luo who just ’happened’ to be on this planet to discover a girl that had a Noble Fate.

He held a shocking secret about this event that he planned to use in the future as he continued to bring this senior sister under his heel, what he began here today being just the start as he planned to utilize the abilities of the Sin of L.u.s.t to manipulate the War Princess as much as possible, planning to use her as a weapon against the beings she currently stood with!

He spoke towards the robed Athena that already had her usual ponytail up, the simple robe covering everything he was just seeing.

"Alright. Why did you get dressed though, we have at least another few hours?"

"No, we have to prepare for the powerful beings we will be matched with soon. Not all of us are crazy geniuses that are obtaining Fate Lines faster than anyone thought possible."

Athena replied with a firm expression as she spoke once more with a light smile.

"Let’s go spar again, maybe if you win this time...I’ll entertain the thought of returning to this room again."

Noah’s eyes squinted as he nodded, going with the flow as his relationship with this War Princess had moved forward to another stage, continuing his intrusion into the Celestials and their forces as he prepared for a few things!

One was the plan for the War Princess, the other was the battle with Special Existences and beings with Noble Fates that would decide whether he received amazing treasures that might even allow him to break into the World Rank at a rate he never expected.

To achieve such a rank, either he had to do the impossible thing of fighting a being at that rank and winning, obtaining their cores to make his breakthrough. The other way would be to traverse the Celestial Realm until he found a treasure similar to what the Celestials currently had as the prize for the coming battle between powerful geniuses.

His clone had actually come across a treasure that wasn’t just an Inheritance in the Celestial Realm just now, Noah’s mind paying attention to the description of the things that his clone was seeing in the hidden space behind the waterfall far to the south region from where his main body was.

Moving from the scene of the vibrant Senior Sister and Junior Brother that were leaving their living quarters to begin a different sort of spar, Noah’s Ancient Blood Clone neared the shining pond and the Inheritance of the Disciple of Water as their descriptions appeared in front of him!

His attention was grabbed as he dived into the pool of spring water, sensing its abundant essence that already began rushing towards him on all sides. He couldn’t help but take a few gulps as he felt the rushing of essence coursing through him, this spring water being something that could make anyone feel like they were in their prime!

He quickly reached the bottom where the pearl was located, wrapping it in his hands as its description became clear to him.

He then waved his hands towards all the surrounding spring water as all of it went to his Expansive Space, his gaze moving towards the ancient pedestal holding the Inheritance of the Disciple of Water. This would be the treasure that would allow him to rapidly cultivate two normal laws at a speed nobody thought to be possible before!
