Chapter 595 - The Novus Galaxy!
The Novus Galaxy was extremely vast and wide, but it was not always like this!
Like many things, it began somewhere, and ended somewhere!
[The answer to the question you heard the Terror of Aether spouting actually lies here.]
The monotone voice rang out in front of Noah as the tale began.
The accusatory questions that the Cthulhu had thrown towards the Central Realm indicated that even though Aldrich had carried out the actions of shattering a portion of the barrier of the Novus Galaxy and sending out a Signal to the unknown universe of exactly where their Galaxy was...the Cthulhu said that this dangerous action that would put them all at risk could only be made because the Novus Galaxy itself let it happen!
So why would this be? Why would a galaxy incite destruction to itself?!
[To understand this, you must realize the true nature of a Galaxy, as well as the workings behind it.]
[Over the many eons of time...the Novus Galaxy has actually risen and fallen numerous times.]
...!
Noah’s eyes shook as he listened, hidden truth that nobody knew being revealed simply in front of him.
Over the past tens of thousands of years, and who knew how much further, the Novus Galaxy had actually come to be and then been destroyed multiple times!
[Each time was different. Whether by the hands of the natives, or by outside forces, or by something completely unknown.]
[But no matter what, every time there was complete destruction before everything restarted once more.]
RUMBLE!
Lines of fate seemed to be swirling around Noah as he learned this truth, the shocking reality that a Galaxy actually went through cycles of destruction and rebirth, the truth that trillions of beings would inexplicably be moving within at every cycle as they lived their lives before all of them were wiped away...only for the Galaxy to begin anew as the process repeated itself!

[I have gone through this process too many times to count.]
The voice coming out from the 1st Infernal Lord felt even colder and more emotionless at this moment, Noah beginning to understand exactly why that was so as he thought about just the idea of countless destructions and rebirth, of seeing trillions die over and over again!
[To try and prevent this, I strove to make strong Protectors over the eons that could withstand the challenges which ultimately led to my destruction, but even that was never successful.]
OOOM!
The first Infernal Lord waved her hands as an illusory screen appeared beside their two figures, Noah turning towards it as he saw numerous shocking scenes being played.
One scene showed multiple figures with the auras of Controllers releasing horrendously powerful attacks towards a shining white core.
[Whether it was by my own inhabitants...]
Another scene showed a shocking large-scale battle that involved creatures Noah had never seen before, of powerful beings that even caused Noah’s heart to stir!
[Or by Outsiders who inadvertently found the location of the Novus Galaxy in this vast universe.]
No matter what happened, the conclusion was always the same- destruction!
But there existed a unique feature about Galaxies where they did not utterly face extinction, going into hibernation for countless years before enough essence can be absorbed for everything to restart yet again.
[Even more recently, I have been trying new methods of raising powerful Protectors with unique abilities that can stand against any coming forces, but even that failed.]
The scene changed as it portrayed five figures releasing auras at the level of a Grand Controller, these five figures facing unknown beings that were not shown clearly on the illusory screen.
Noah’s eyes shook as he saw that at the forefront of the five figures, a single woman with dark hair was wildly leading the others with a cold expression. This figure was very prominent in his eyes as she looked to have a face that was very similar to Noah’s, the features just slightly more feminine to match the body!

This being that looked just like him but had a different gender faced the unknown enemies as in the end...all five Grand Controllers fell!
[Every time. All that I could look forward to was destruction. That is...until something changed.]
Yes! Something had changed!
Noah’s eyes looked towards the 1st Infernal Lord that carried a blank expression as he could feel his beating heart even though he had Apathy activated. He wanted to know exactly what change had occurred, but the cold voice skipped over it entirely as the story continued.
[After that change, I tried something new. I tried not to have multiple powerful Protectors that all seemed to lose in the end, I tried to forge a single Champion that I was confident could withstand anything that came.]
RUMBLE!
[That is where you come along. You are...that Champion.]
...!
After whatever Change she mentioned occurred, the Novus Galaxy had stopped focusing on making multiple powerful protectors who always fell in the end to either their own conflicts or to outside enemies, and she instead focused on forging a single powerful being who could possibly withstand any and all coming forces!
She wanted to forge a Champion of ultimate proportions, a being that could shoulder a task that nobody would dare put on their shoulder!
[Accomplishing this was not possible before, but the change allowed for me to be able to bend the Universal Laws even by a little, and it expanded the possibilities as I focused on a single aspect of strength that I saw over the eons of destruction and rebirth.]
[I observed this aspect on the Outsiders that occasionally caused my destruction, where the Outsiders had extreme strength and power in one aspect, a strength that culminated in giving them a tremendously powerful presence that is collected and termed into a single word...a Trait.]
RUMBLE!
A Trait!
[Some Outsiders had traits focusing on the extremes of Laws, some had Traits that allowed them to do unimaginably powerful things with ease, and others had so-so Traits as they could even be matched by the Controllers I made.]
But the one singular truth remained...and that truth was if someone had a strong enough Trait, an extreme of a law or something else that could overpower any other beings...they would be victorious!
[Because of this, I went forward with the goal of forging a Champion that had an unbeatable Trait, a Champion who could trample on all other beings regardless of the trait they held in the coming future.]
RUMBLE!
Space seemed to be shaking around them as the emotionless words of the Novus Galaxy continued to ring out!
[What do you think about Infinite Mana?]
...!
