Supreme Grandpa Chapter 99

Back at the basement room, after waiting for over two more house, Lang Ping still didn't see the six punks.
Just as he was about to call them directly, a familiar person suddenly called him.
"I've been waiting for over two hours now, where the hell are you? What took you so long?" Without waiting for the other side to speak, Lang Ping yelled angrily.
But what the other party said next directly made his face become gloomy in an instant, "What? You six were caught by the police? You dug to the ground below the police station? Are you stupid? Damn, wait for me, you trash!"
After hanging up the phone, Lang Ping walked out of the basement room in an angry manner and did not forget to say to his other minions, "Let's go to Martial Police Station!"
The several punks looked at each other and thought of what their boss had said earlier when talking on the phone.
Those six guys… were caught by the police? So amazing? They dug directly to the ground under the police station?
…
Three cars galloped on the street and came to Martial Police Station.
When Lang Ping came inside, he saw the six dirty punks right away. Seeing them, Lang Ping strode over quickly and slapped them in their heads angrily.
"You trash! You only know how to make troubles outside all days long!"
The six guys almost fainted from the slaps. Fortunately, they were already used to the slap. They just lowered their heads and rubbed their painful heads timidly. The hits earlier were not weak at all, that was the strength of a 2nd Tier Master martial artist.
When the two detectives who just arrived heard what Lang Ping said, they felt strange. Wasn't this guy the one who ordered the six guys to dig the ground?
When Lang Ping saw the two male and female detectives, he put away his ruthless face in an instant.
Lang Ping revealed a smile, "Hehe, I apologize for what they did. When I go back, I will teach them a good lesson and will not let them dig the ground randomly again in the future."
Seeing the 360-degree change of personality of this Lang Ping, the two detectives felt that this guy was no simple. What's more, from the foul breath on Lang Ping's body, they were very sure that he had killed a lot of people. Since he could still roam outside freely, then it would only mean that his background must not be simple.

However, the two detectives were righteous people. They did not care even if this Lang Ping had the background of the demon, their duty was to eliminate evil.
But even so, they couldn't arrest him as they were short of evidence.
The male detective said a few words to the police responsible for preparing the documents and dealing with the bailment, then he gave one last look at Lang Ping before leaving with the female detective.
From the beginning to the end, he did not say anything back to Lang Ping. It was as if he regarded Lang Ping as air.
Lang Ping did not seem to be angry or embarrassed either, he still stood there with a smile as if the words he had just said earlier weren't said by him at all.
The police responsible for the final works wrote something on the document a bit before he said to Lang Ping, "After the inspection, we found that they have caused the most serious damage to the public properties. Each person has to pay the fine of 200,000 C dollars each. So totally, it's 1,200,000 C dollars."
In the past, when people damaged public properties, the offenders had to face a light jail sentence for vandalism. Also, they had to go to the court and pay the fines directly to the court.
But since martial arts had become prosperous, the act of vandalism had become very common now and the offenders were generally martial artists. Therefore, it would be very troublesome to settle it down in the court, so the new law directly allowed the local police station to handle it instead.
For the police responsible for handling this time's crime, he felt quite weird. It was the first time that he had encountered such a strange way of damaging public properties. But he did not care that much.
When Lang Ping heard the amount of fine he had to pay, he did not frown or anything, but directly asked for the bank account number of the police station and transferred 1,200,000 C dollars, no more no less.
When Lang Ping and six punks including those other punks walked out of the police station, Lang Ping's calm and smiling face directly turned ugly in an instant. The breath of a 2nd Tier Master martial artist instantly appeared to be stronger, and it pressed down on all the punks nearby.
Especially the six punks, they felt that every step was very heavy. They thought that after they went back, parts of their limbs would have to be broken for sure.

When the three cars left the police station, the two detectives emerged from the gate of the police station and gazed at the three cars that had already become three dots in the distance.
The male detective said silently, "I've already asked Xiao Wang to check that Lang Ping, he's a very difficult character. No, it seems like the one behind him is the difficult one."
The female detective frowned and asked, "Is he involved in something big?"
The male detective nodded, "Yes, it seems like he's one of the minions who's responsible for distributing those Final Boosters."
"What? Final Boosters? That forbidden drug that can boost strength and make a person become a monster?" The female detective was shocked.
"The user will indeed become a monster, but that's only temporary. After the effect of the drug ends, the strength of the user will plummet and his realm of martial arts will regress greatly. But the scary thing is that when the user becomes a monster, he will lose his sanity and start killing crazily," the male detective took a heavy breath when he said this.
"Have you ever encountered one before?"
"No, but just recently, my friend from Tong City encountered one. Luckily, he killed that person in time, otherwise, I'm afraid that all the residents around there would have to die."
"So strong?"
"Yes, my friend said that person was only a 6th Tier Master, but he could enter the threshold of the 8th Tier Master if the drug took effect completely."
The female detective was shocked again. This kind of drug was too sinister. If it did not have that great side effect, maybe it would become a supreme treasure. But the creator of the drug just had to make it a sinister drug instead.
"You said it was your friend from Tong City? Why have I never known about this?" She had been working with him for a few years now, but this was the first time she heard that her companion had such a powerful friend who could slay a 6th Tier Master in Tong City.
"Well, my friend's father is my benefactor, and I became friends with him afterward. Do you know the Yang Family? My friend is Yang Haodong, the military governor of Tong City."
"The Yang Family? The family who produced those two great pills? In other words, your benefactor is Yang Song, the patriarch of the Yang Family?" The female detective was stunned.
"Yeah," the male detective nodded.
…
After the three cars left the police station, they did not go back to the building earlier, they instead went to a nightclub located in a place where different gangs gathered together – Martial City's Black Gang Paradise District.
The nightclub was named Black Wolf and was the turf of Lang Ping.
When Lang Ping came, several people in black outfits directly came to the car in the middle and opened the passenger door.
"Gang Master."
"Gang Master."
"..."
Lang Ping got off the car, but he didn't care about those several people, his face was ugly and asked, "Where's Yang Hu?"
A person replied quickly, "Vice Gang Master is in room 007."
Lang Ping snorted, "It's just right," then he looked at the six punks behind him.
The six guys had already figured out what would happen to them when the direction of the car turned to the Black Gang Paradise District.
Room 007, that was the room two levels under the ground of the nightclub, and it was a… 'punishment room'.
The six guys could only sigh at their bad luck and walked inside obediently.
When other people saw this, they could only pat those six guys' shoulders for their bad luck. But from those people's expressions, no one seemed to pity them at all. There was even a hint of gloating and mockery instead.
Walking inside the club, it was full of people. People from all walks of life came to this place to enjoy themselves. However, those people were generally ordinary people, only several of them were martial artists, but even so, they were only low-level martial artists.
This club had a total of four floors, but if included the two more floors hidden under the ground, there would be six floors.
Lang Ping and the six punks walked to a closed room.
If other people came to look inside, they would be stunned. Because the seven people clearly went inside just now, but the seven people disappeared somehow. Unfortunately, this room couldn't be entered by just anyone. Only the main members of the gang had access to it.

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.

Curiosity Killed The Imp
A/N: On hiatus (higher priority). The story is planned out but I need to do some rewriting for clarity and cohesiviness. Still very interested in the story though. In a tiny corner, at the edge of a volcanic land, is born an imp. An imp no different from any other save one thing. An anomaly in its code. A blip in its creation. For unlike other imps, this one was born…curious. Book Cover by Betty Elgyn: https://www.deviantart.com/bettyelgyn

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
