Chapter 131: Lin Junjun’s Nightmare

An Lin shrugged. “I mean exactly what I just said, I’m afraid you guys won’t have enough treasures to reward me with.”
Lin Junjun’s chest tightened in anger. “An Lin… you’re trying to piss me off on purpose, aren’t you?
“Hehe, just give me all the information you have, I’ll concede to you if I even so much as furrow my brows!”
Lin Junjun’s eyes shone brightly as she stared at An Lin, her expression alight with battle intent.
An Lin didn’t waste time with words, instead carving out a formation.
Lin Junjun copied the formation onto a piece of paper.
After finishing her drawing, she nodded approvingly, a triumphant smile appearing on her face. “Not bad, this is a bloodline fortification array formation, you may receive an intermediate rank Spirit Tool from Jiang Anlan’s treasure vault.”
Lin Junjun rested her chin in her hand as she smiled slightly. “Mr. An, do you have anything else to offer?”
An Lin nodded before carving out two more formations.
Lin Junjun was slightly taken aback by this, but still maintained a calm expression after copying the formations. “Hmm, very good, you’ve indeed reaped some great rewards. You may receive an intermediate rank and an elementary rank Spirit Tool from Jiang Anlan’s treasure vault.”
An Lin was shocked by her words, but still maintained a calm facade.
He just casually tossed out two trash formations, who would’ve thought they would be so valuable…
He was growing a lot more confident now!
After this, he carved out ten different formations onto the table.
Lin Junjun stared at these complex formations, drawing in a sharp intake of breath. The momentum was clearly in favor of An Lin, but she couldn’t furrow her brows!
After replicating the ten formations, she amended the rewards. “You may receive three intermediate rank Spirit Tools and seven elementary rank Spirit Tools from Jiang Anlan’s treasure vault.”
Jiang Anlan trembled all over after hearing this. “Master Tianyu, there aren’t enough intermediate rank Spirit Tools…”
Lin Junjun was also at a slight loss, before quickly recovering her composure. “I recall that you have a high-rank Spirit Tool in your treasure vault, which can count for three intermediate rank Spirit Tools. Just give that to him.”
Jiang Anlan’s heart bled but he still agreed.
Everyone cast looks of admiration toward An Lin.
An Lin, meanwhile, sat in his chair, calm and collected, seemingly unmoved by the reward on offer, earning him even more respect from his team members.

See, this is what true poise looks like!
It seemed as if receiving a dozen Spirit Tools was a commonplace event for him, this was the Great God An that they all revered.
“Alright, if that is the extent of the information you got, then you can all go to receive your rewards from Jiang Anlan’s treasure vault.” Lin Junjun stood up with a smile.
“Hold on, I still have more information to offer, why are you in such a rush?” An Lin waved his hand whilst rolling his eyes at Lin Junjun.
Lin Junjun’s body swayed slightly as her eyes widened. “You… you have more left?”
An Lin nodded solemnly before writing down about a dozen different strings of symbols onto the table.
Lin Junjun: “…”
Jiang Anlan was about to cry. “Master Tianyu, there are no more Spirit Tools in the treasure vault…”
Lin Junjun: “Bring out the Spirit Pills!”
An Lin smiled before writing down about a dozen bloodline research experiment papers onto the table.
Jiang Anlan’s breathing quickened. “Master Tianyu, there are no more Spirit Pills in the treasure vault…”
Lin Junjun gripped her chest in pain. “Bring out all the rare treasures and the tool refinement materials!”
An Lin nodded in contentment before drawing out a few mechanical blueprints onto the table.
Jiang Anlan’s lips trembled. “Master Tianyu, there appear to only be spirit stones left in the treasure vault…”
Lin Junjun’s eyes widened as she chewed tightly on her bottom lip. Only after a long while did she manage to eke out a response. “Then bring it all out!”
An Lin was very satisfied. He continued to draw another dozen formations with a happy smile.
Darkness fluttered past Lin Junjun’s eyes as her paintbrush slipped from her grip and fell onto the ground. “You… how do you have more formations!?”
An Lin blinked innocently. “Because I saved a few in case I drew out too many and bankrupted you guys.”
Wow, how thoughtful…
Jiang Anlan stared blankly at the formations on the table, struck with a sudden urge to commit suicide by bashing his head into the table.
“Master Tianyu, the treasure vault has been emptied, please advise on how you would us like to proceed.” Jiang Anlan was looking forward to death at this point.
Everyone in the Dragon Clan loved treasure.
The treasures in the treasure vault were like his children, they were so beautiful, making it so easy to form emotional attachments.
Now that the treasure vault had been completely emptied, he felt as if he had lost all purpose for continuing living…

An Lin looked toward Lin Junjun with a suspicious expression. “You’re not going to eat your words, are you?”
Lin Junjun was stunned after hearing his accusations.
She had only come here this time to practice her art, hence she didn’t bring any valuable items with her. But An Lin had already drawn the formations, she couldn’t just put the rewards on credit.
Who was she? She was the daughter of the Celestial Thearch, how could she eat her words!?
She promised rewards so she had to give the rewards immediately!
Lin Junjun steeled her heart and pulled off her white-jeweled necklace before handing it to An Lin with gritted teeth. “This is the Heavenly Spirit Ice Heart, it’s a high tier protective Spirit Tool. It is a sufficient reward for the formations you’ve drawn.”
An Lin reluctantly accepted the Heavenly Spirit Ice Heart, his expression filled with dissatisfaction. He cast his gaze toward Lin Junjun with an expression that seemed to accuse her of driving him a hard bargain.
Lin Junjun’s chest tightened and she almost spat out a mouthful of blood.
Who should actually be the upset one here!?
This was her most prized accessory, and she was now giving it to An Lin, but he was looking at it with an expression full of reluctance?
An Lin’s reluctance was actually not without reason. This was a very feminine necklace, he had no urge to wear it for himself so he was naturally quite reluctant to accept it.
And so, he continued to write out a dozen different strings of symbols onto the table.
Lin Junjun was completely stupefied.
Jiang Anlan was dumbfounded.
All the team members’ mouths were agape as they rubbed their eyes in disbelief.
“I think I’m beginning to understand why we were kicked out by Bai Ling… Just how much f*cking information did he obtain!?” Luo Ziping said with disbelief on his face.
“Was this information really obtained, he couldn’t have robbed all this information from the mastermind realm, could he?” Zong Yongyan winced.
“From what it looks like, I feel like he’s still got a lot of information in reserve.” Sun Shenglian spoke.
“As expected of Big Brother An, so overpowered!” Miao Tian admired with her arm tightly encircling Xiao Chou’s.
She could already foresee what was about to take place next…
Upon seeing Lin Junjun’s stupefied state, An Lin blinked in surprise. “What is it? Have you guys run out of stuff to give?”
The rims of Lin Junjun’s eyes reddened as she stubbornly chewed on her soft bottom lip, no longer able to maintain her calm facade.
She had never been in such despair before.
An Lin’s relentless exertion of pressure had her on the brink of collapse.
The most valuable item she had with her was the Heavenly Spirit Ice Heart, what else could she sell? Herself?
“An Lin… you… are you here just to bully me!?”
Tears began to well up in Lin Junjun’s eyes. She could no longer maintain her calm grace as her facade crumbled, revealing an upset little girl.
She really wanted to beat the shi*t out of An Lin, but there were so many people around, she couldn’t attack him now, so she could only suppress the urge. Who knew she would be bullied to the point of tears at his hands.
“That’s OK, that’s OK, don’t cry, I don’t need the rewards if you don’t have any left.” An Lin conceded as he wiped away the symbols on the table.
To drive the daughter of the Celestial Thearch to the point of tears… it would be far too scary if this story got out.
He didn’t want to attract any more trouble so he could only concede to his bad luck and relinquish the reward.
However, An Lin’s sympathy dealt another crushing blow to Lin Junjun’s pride.
She rubbed her eyes before producing a piece of paper and writing out a large ‘Yu’ character, handing it to An Lin.
“I promised you a reward so I’ll definitely deliver. You can present this ‘Yu’ character to the Heavenly Court for a free Immortal Pill of under the sixth grade!”
An Lin fell into silence after receiving the piece of paper.
A blank cheque?
Lin Junjun thought that An Lin was unaware of how to reach the Heavenly Court, hence tacked on some instructions at the end. “There are teleportation spell formations present in the prefectural cities of every State that could send you to the Heavenly Court. Just present this piece of paper to the Heavenly Court attendant and they will allow you to pass through without any trouble.”
An Lin nodded before stowing the piece of paper away. He was a student of the Heavenly Court anyway, so it wouldn’t be an issue even if he had to go directly to the Dou Shuai Palace.
However, to be able to exchange a dozen combinations of symbols for an Immortal Pill, that was a very alluring reward.
Hence, he cast his gaze toward Lin Junjun before opening his mouth testily. “Also… I still have a lot of information left, do you still want it?”
Tears flooded from Lin Junjun’s eyes like a broken dam.
