Chapter 680: The Eleventh Highly Intelligence Tribe
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
An Lin took a deep breath before asking, “So that means you can create life from scratch?”
Tina nodded. “That’s right. As long as all the parameters are determined, I can bestow a soul upon the creation to create the life form. Of course, this creation of life is not guaranteed to succeed and must undergo a process of selection and elimination by this world. Furthermore, it requires an extremely large amount of energy expenditure, so it has to be used with caution.”
An Lin suddenly thought of something. “By the way, how are the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts going?”
Tina had enhanced the intelligence and animalistic instincts of the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts to the very maximum, thereby giving them superior skills in the areas of concealment, slaughter, and raw strength compared to even highly intelligent life forms. It could be said that they were infinitely approaching highly intelligent life forms.
Tina pouted upon hearing An Lin’s question. “Ever since Soul Formation Stage cultivators began to appear in the nine tribes, many large-scale culls have been conducted on the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts. Up to this point, there are only Spirit-Engulfing Beasts left in extremely secluded places, and if it isn’t for the fact that they can photosynthesize, they would’ve died from starvation a long time ago!”
An Lin: “…”
What an epic fail. They had hacks bestowed upon them by the God of Creation, but they were still useless.
“How about… we give them an intelligence boost?” An Lin paused momentarily before suggesting.
Tina’s eyes flashed, and her golden wings glowed with an even brighter light from her emotional fluctuations.
“Great idea! Modifying the current Spirit-Engulfing Beasts would also conserve energy compared to creating living beings from scratch!”
An Lin and Tina immediately came to a consensus. This was mostly because they were quite fixated on the concept of making the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts a viable tribe of antagonists.
Scintillating white light burst forth from Tina’s body, and her eyes seemed to encompass the entire world.

She raised a finger to the heavens while pointing another finger down toward the earth as she uttered a divine decree, “Spirit-Engulfing Beasts, intelligence activate!”
An invisible ripple merged into heaven and earth, and both wind and clouds began to surge violently all over the entire world.
Boundless power encompassed the entire world as a mysterious force merged into each and every one of the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts’ bodies.
Tina’s one simple sentence effected a change all throughout heaven and earth!
This was a truly invincible power.
All the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts stood rooted to the spot as their bodies trembled violently.
All of them then began to wail in agony, as if they were experiencing some sort of terrifying pain.
Boom boom boom…
One Spirit-Engulfing Beast after another self-detonated.
The power to force an organism to evolve wasn’t something that all living beings could handle.
Those who couldn’t endure it could only be destroyed.
Among the hundreds of thousands of Spirit-Engulfing Beasts in this world, only around ten percent remained.
They wandered all corners of the world, and a hint of intelligence seemed to grow in their crimson, vicious eyes as all of them surveyed the world with renewed curiosity.
“Haha, success! As expected of Little Na!” An Lin clapped his hands together with joy upon seeing the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts within the crystal screen.
Heaven and earth suddenly tremored at this moment, and another energy fluctuation burst forth.
Tina’s expression shifted as she exclaimed, “Oh no! The will of the world is starting to inflict backlash upon the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts!”
An Lin: “…”
All the remaining Spirit-Engulfing Beasts had been blessed with far superior intelligence to what they once had, and they thought that everything would be smooth sailing from there, but another type of power fused into their bodies at the moment before wreaking more havoc.
Boom boom boom…
More Spirit-Engulfing Beasts began to self-detonate as they couldn’t endure the new power entering their bodies.
It was simply too much to bear, and many of them exploded in quick succession!

All of them wailed with anguish.
However, having had their intelligence enhanced by Tina’s blessing, they were not going to just stand around idly to await destruction.
In order to resist this new power, their bodies slowly and autonomously progressed in a certain direction as they slowly turned invisible. This was a transition from a physical body to a spiritual body.
That’s right, they had used the power bestowed upon them by Tina to complete some form of evolution!
Most of the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts broke down during this evolutionary process, but a small portion of them survived, and their physical bodies disintegrated, thereby allowing them to live on as spiritual beings.
Following the completion of their evolutionary process, their bodies floated in the air. This was not a strange occurrence as a spiritual body had no mass anyway.
The Spirit-Engulfing Beasts looked at their own bodies before cackling with glee.
“Hehehe… this body is awesome…”
“I feel so light and free from inhibitions. This is true freedom; this is the true life!”
“Let’s go eat some Holy Martial Clan brains!”
“Ptui! What’s so good about eating brains? We have to eat something light and floaty…”
“Like what?”
“Hmm… with our body types, how about we eat souls?”
“Let’s give it a try!”
Thus, the evolved Spirit-Engulfing Beasts began to disappear into the air and slowly floated away into the distance.
Upon suffering a backlash from the will of heaven and earth, several tens of thousands of Spirit-Engulfing Beasts survived and evolved in order to continue to exist as a brand new life form.
Although there were less than ten thousand of them left, their remaining numbers had transformed the power balance of this world because they were the eleventh highly intelligence tribe of this world!
An Lin and Tina stared wordlessly at the images being broadcasted on the crystalline screens before them.
“So… does that mean we succeeded?”
An Lin asked slowly as he stared at the Spirit-Engulfing Beasts, which appeared nothing like how they once were.
“It should be counted as a success I guess…” Tina replied in a feeble voice with no conviction whatsoever.
An Lin: “… Why do I feel like they resemble the Void Spirit Tribe on Tai Chu Continent?”
“Hmm… they are kind of similar…” Tina’s lips twitched upon hearing this evaluation, and she said, “The Void Spirit Tribe and the Spirit-Engulfing Beast are technically all spiritual bodies, so they’re essentially the same type of life form.”
She really didn’t know what to think about this anymore. Was this a f*cking coincidence?
Thinking back, she had said to An Lin that her obsessive-compulsive disorder was flaring up due to the lack of the Void Spirit Tribe among the ten Realm-Guardian Tribes in this world. But now…
Did this mean that even if there were one tribe missing, this world would make one for her anyway?
An Lin massaged his brows. “You’re the master of this world, can’t you be a bit more precise? Should a supreme God of Creation like you really be uttering words like ‘I guess’ or ‘should be’ or ‘kind of’?”
Tina pouted as she encircled her well-proportioned arms around one of An Lin’s arms. “Well, you’re the master of the master of this world! Why don’t you know anything?!”
An Lin was completely speechless after hearing this. She was f*cking right!
After adopting the title of God’s spokesperson for so long, he had almost forgotten that he was Tina’s master.
In other words, he had been proud of running around and spreading the message as Tina’s lackey…
Holy sh*t! This could not go on! His prestige as Tina’s master had been swept to the ground!
An Lin finally came to a startling revelation, and he sighed with emotion when he realized how he had been happily acting as Little Na’s henchman this whole time.
He turned to look at the flawless fairy who was still latched onto his arm, and he fell silent while thinking about the matter.

Bright Feather
I'd like to say something like this is a unique story, blah-blah, but it's not. The story itself is your typical fantasy story with magic, fightings, plot armors, good friends, beautiful ladies and whatever there always is in such stories. I pretty much enjoy typical stories. So I've decided to write one myself. The only thing is the story isn't going to be centered about the Main Character. So let's leave all of the above to him, we'll meet him eventually anyway. This is the story of MC's counterpart. While our greatest Main Character conquers the world, cultivates, and whatever else, what does his destined other half do? Sit and stoically wait for him to come out of the closed door cultivation? Really now... Just thought it might be interesting to write such a story. Let's see if I manage. I'm new to this so, dear readers, please, don't be harsh on me. But if you have some words for me, so I can improve, don't keep them to yourselves, all help is deeply appreciated. And I officially promise to be very slow and inconsistent with releases (myriads reasons for this.) But I'll still do my best to finish the story someday. WARNINGS! (I thought a lot, and in the end, I'm putting it here. Better safe than sorry.) First of all, you can probably easily guess, but English is not my native language. And everything that comes with it. I don't think that it excuses me though, so I will improve with time, but warning you nevertheless. Second: No harem, no BL, no Romance And the last but not least: Beware of psychological pressure on characters and characters' deaths. Not much, in my opinion, but still, if you're overly sensitive to violence or mind games, better drop before starting. In any case, you've been warned. With all the above said, welcome, and enjoy.
