Chapter 719: Finally Gaining Entry
The silver Gundam’s overall strength was roughly equivalent to a veteran Return to Void Initial Stage mighty figure. However, Celestial Maiden Fei Ying was a Return to Void Intermediate Stage mighty figure, so the Gundam was still decidedly at a disadvantage.
However, An Lin and Dong Guo’s participations would flip the battle on its head.
All cultivators had limited energy. Fei Ying was already a little exhausted from unleashing so many powerful techniques, so how much longer could she last in a three-on-one battle?
“Die, demonic woman!”
An Lin roared as he unleashed his Endless Night sword techniques to launch a series of earth-shattering black sword projections.
Celestial Maiden Fei Ying fell back with flying flowers underfoot as she evaded the sword projections using her agile movement techniques. A frosty expression appeared on her face as she snapped, “My biggest pet peeve is when someone calls me a demonic woman!”
She turned as she spoke before launching another dazzling cherry blossom crescent.
Her attacks were imbued with vast power, and the space within the cave trembled as space congealed under the gravity of her killing intent.
An Lin and the silver Gundam were both struck before instantly being knocked back over a hundred meters.
Unfortunately for Fei Ying, both of them had skin as thick as fortresses, and they were completely unscathed after being struck.
Celestial Maiden Fei Ying looked at An Lin with shock and confusion on her face. The silver Gundam was constructed from special materials, so it was reasonable that it would possess powerful defensive abilities. But why was a Soul Formation Stage cultivator’s defensive prowess so monstrous?
This didn’t make sense!
Just as she was caught in a bit of a daze, an extremely powerful sword projection pierced through her floral barrier before stabbing toward her heart!
Dong Guo had been waiting a long time for this opportunity!
He had struck right when Celestial Maiden Fei Ying was distracted, so this was surely going to be a telling blow!
“Piss off!” Celestial Maiden Fei Ying waved a long pink sleeve toward him with a disdainful expression. Her sleeve instantly shattered Dong Guo’s sword projection before crashing heavily into Dong Guo’s chest.

Boom!
The long sleeve was like a blow from a sledgehammer as Dong Guo’s chest caved in upon being struck.
“Pfff…” Dong Guo threw up a mouthful of blood as he flew back like a cannonball through the air.
This was the disparity between expectation and reality.
Never would Dong Guo have thought that what he thought would be a decisive blow would instead result in him being severely wounded.
At this moment, An Lin and the silver Gundam had already charged toward Celestial Maiden Fei Ying as they unleashed a series of powerful spell techniques.
If it wasn’t for this rotating battle tactic, Dong Guo would most likely have died a long time ago.
Celestial Maiden Fei Ying was growing more and more impatient. She was unable to strike down An Lin as the silver Gundam presented a constant distraction to her.
Not only that, but her energy was continually being depleted by the intense battles that she had to endure. If things continued like this, there was a good chance that she would be defeated!
She was the first person to have caught up to An Lin, so she refused to let the phoenix egg escape from her again.
A ferocious expression appeared on her face as she bit down on the tip of her tongue in preparation to unleash a certain mystical technique.
“Oh? So that’s where you guys were? Found you, hehe…”
A husky, frosty voice that sounded as if it had originated from the depths of hell suddenly erupted.
Fei Ying retreated as quickly as she could as three black ghostly faces with sinister smiles on their faces appeared at the opening of the cavernous chamber.
“Duan Hunzi?!” Fei Ying’s brows furrowed.
“That’s right!” The three ghostly faces cackled in unison.
One of the ghostly faces sneered with a taunting expression. “Thank you for wearing Sect Leader An Lin out in an epic battle like this, Celestial Maiden Fei Ying. I will be reaping the fruits of your labor, hahaha…”
The second ghostly face spoke, “Stay there and don’t go anywhere. The smile of the Death God is going to come to find you!”

The third ghostly face chuckled buoyantly. “Wait for a minute. Perhaps in one minute…”
Boom!
An Lin immediately pulverized the three ghostly faces with a Mountain Quaking Fist.
“Nice!” Celestial Maiden Fei Ying clapped her hands with a seductive smile. “All those who ruin the atmosphere between us must die!”
An Lin: “…”
However, the ghostly faces had only just been pulverized when a dark wind began to roar from afar.
“Hahaha… children nowadays have no manners. Let me teach you a lesson for killing my spirits!” Duan Hunzi’s head of long, silver hair danced as he flew toward everyone with a crazed expression atop a giant comical face.
An Lin’s lips twitched upon seeing the comical face under his feet. “Is this guy f*cking retarded?”
“Master, it’s another Return to Void Intermediate Stage mighty figure! We won’t be able to hold them all off! What do we do?” Dong Guo turned pale with fright and thoughts of retreat began to well up in his heart as he sensed the formidable aura emanating from Duan Hunzi’s body.
“We do indeed need to find a way to escape.”
Dong Guo felt a little more reassured upon seeing An Lin’s calm and collected expression.
An Lin turned toward him. “Any ideas, Dong Guo?”
Dong Guo faltered upon hearing this. Any ideas? Did it look like he had any f*cking ideas?!
An Lin heaved a resigned sigh upon seeing Dong Guo’s idiotic expression.
For some reason, thoughts of Tang Ximen suddenly flashed into his mind…
At this moment, Fei Ying and Duan Hunzi pounced toward An Lin at once. Both mighty figures had unleashed their full strength in an attempt to get to the phoenix egg before the other!
One of them descended with a vast expanse of lethal cherry blossoms while the other swept forward with spiritual blades tearing through the space within the chamber.
An Lin and Dong Guo both retreated at the same time, but to their surprise, the silver Gundam charged in the opposite direction before splaying its hands open to create a blue ionic-deprivation barrier that kept the two Return to Void Stage mighty figures’ attacks at bay.
Boom boom boom…
A devastating collision of power took place as the space within the cave tremored and quaked. Everything in a circular area within a radius of over a kilometer was reduced to dust as the tunnel was forcefully expanded to several times its original diameter.
An Lin, Da Bai, and Dong Guo were all blasted flying by the ensuing shockwaves before crashing toward the green gate.
However, to their surprise, the seemingly-indestructible gate suddenly opened to allow the three of them to fly through!
An Lin, Da Bai, and Dong Guo were all dumbstruck by this development as the silver Gundam turned back to look at them. It was as if it was confirming that they had indeed flown through the gate.
The green gate then immediately swung shut, thus keeping out An Lin’s assailants.
Fei Ying and Duan Hunzi were dumbstruck.
What the f*ck! Why did the door open?
Both of them unleashed all their strengths to bypass the defenses of the silver Gundam before transforming into two powerful streaks of light that flashed toward the green gate.
Boom!
The two of them were both knocked dizzy, but the gate did not budge in the slightest.
Celestial Maiden Fei Ying: “…”
Duan Hunzi: “…”
The particle-sword-wielding silver Gundam charged toward the two of them again, only to be pummeled against the green gate.
“Hi-yah!” Duan Hunzi launched a black dragon blast, which crashed into the silver Gundam and caused its body to screech and creak.
An explosion of energy took place as a gap opened up in the gate for the Gundam to fly through before closing again.
Everything fell deathly silent.
Celestial Maiden Fei Ying: “…”
Duan Hunzi: “…”

(Un)Paralleled
Based on the novel by MGHT, Unparalleled. Things are not as they were. In this alternate story, follow our Hero(?) as he traverses the world. But, is this world really the one we know? I will be using MGHT's original story as a guideline, and applying my own touch to it. Due to there being a lack of information on the wider scope of things, I'll be throwing in things that may not adhere to the original author's plans. Then again, what fun is there in reading something that has already been done? Tags and genres stated are subject to change without notice, be it the addition or removal of tags. Cover art is a fanart I found online a long time ago. Character is Gyuki from Nurarihyon No Mago.
