Chapter 934: The Final Champion
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
Never would An Lin have thought that his heart would be punctured just like that.
An indescribable pain swept through his entire body as death emerged like a vortex, threatening to take away his entire existence…
All of the spectators present let loose cries of surprise.
They had all considered who they thought would win this battle, but they didn’t think that the battle would end with both of them dead!
The Vermilion Bird Princess pulled out her nine-colored divine sword, and her body swayed as she threw up another mouthful of blood.
“Oi, half-drowned cat! You stained my clothes with the blood you’re spitting out…”
A muffled voice of complaint sounded.
The Vermilion Bird Princess instantly turned toward the man before him with shock and incredulity etched on her face.
An Lin held a hand over his heart as he frantically shoveled medicines into his mouth…
He started off with the seventh-grade immortal pill, the Spirit Regeneration Pill.
This was followed by two seventh-grade immortal fruits, Blood Dragon Fruits, which were extremely proficient at replacing lost blood…
As long as it was an immortal pill or immortal fruit that could regenerate injuries, he would shovel it into his mouth. At the same time, he circulated his second-stage Evergreen Technique in a frenzy…
The Vermilion Bird Princess’ voice trembled as she said, “You… You’re still not dead? Is a Soul Formation Stage cultivator supposed to be this hard to kill? Fake! You must be fake!!!”
An Lin chuckled coldly. “Aren’t you still alive too? I’ve never seen another f*cking Soul Formation Stage cultivator that could survive a five-hundred-thousand-spirit-stone tycoon attack! You’re too ridiculously strong as well!!!”
He shoveled a few high-rank spirit pills into his mouth as he spoke.
The Vermilion Bird Princess was on the verge of breaking down as she pointed a slim finger at An Lin. “You… You’re still taking pills! That’s not fair!”
“You can take pills too. No one is stopping you.” An Lin rolled his eyes.
Under the dual action of his regenerative fruits and pills, as well as his second-stage Evergreen Technique, his lacerated heart was healing quickly, and he was already safe from death.
The Vermilion Bird Princess clasped a hand over her bleeding wound, and she shed tears of indignation. “I didn’t bring any medicine!”
She could destroy even Return to Void Stage immortal beasts! How could she have known that she was going to encounter a freak like An Lin?

A smile appeared on An Lin’s face. “I can give you medicine.”
The Vermilion Bird Princess faltered upon hearing this before turning to An Lin with glowing eyes. “Really, Big Brother Lin An? You really are a good man! You’re a true warrior who only wins his battles fair and square!”
“But I have one condition.” An Lin pointed to the shattered spell formation around them and said, “The spell formation has already been destroyed. I can give you pills, but you have to concede and get out of here.”
The formation was there to prevent battlers from escaping so that they could battle to the death.
No one would be able to stop the Vermilion Bird Princess if she were to leave. That way, she could survive and An Lin would have an easier victory.
The Vermilion Bird Princess stared deeply into An Lin’s eyes as a hint of a smile appeared on her face. “I didn’t think you would be so chivalrous…”
“I’m just looking after the young!” An Lin nodded as he sized up the Vermilion Bird Princess’ petite body.
The Vermilion Bird Princess was enraged upon hearing this, and her blood flowed even more quickly.
In contrast, An Lin’s injuries had already healed…
An Lin’s brows furrowed. “Hey, you really are about to die! How about you save yourself first?”
The Vermilion Bird Princess paused momentarily before shaking her head firmly. “No, but thanks for your concern. I’m only one step away. This is my final battle, and I hope to achieve the last of my hundredth consecutive victory here today!”
“Let’s not mention the fact that there is no way you can defeat me. Even if you could, what’s the point of taking the Sun Tree War God title into the grave with you?” An Lin was perplexed.
The Vermilion Bird Princess glared at An Lin. “What’s this about me having no chance of beating you?”
Of course you can beat me! Your health is in the red, while mine is back to a hundred percent! How are you going to win?
“I don’t have time to waste with words. You won’t understand my feelings. I fight for glory and never give up, and I have no regrets even if I die!
“This is the final battle. If we don’t start fighting now, I’ll be dead! Hurry up!”
The Vermilion Bird Princess urged impatiently as an extremely powerful aura burst forth from her body. A dazzling divine light burst forth from her divine seal as her aura continued to climb.

An Lin stared speechlessly at this suicidal young woman.
Why? What was the point? Was she f*cking retarded?
The Vermilion Bird Princess’ dress danced around her as streaks of light burst forth in all directions from the nine-colored divine sword in her hand.
A dazzling divine light pierced through the night sky, as if the sun had re-emerged.
At that moment, it was as if she were the only god of this world, robbing the world of all its light.
“Lin An, this is going to be my final strike. I will definitely emerge as the victor!”
The Vermilion Bird Princess was bathed in a divine light, and blood had already stained a large part of her colored dress. A peculiar flush appeared on her face, as if she was overexerting the last of her life force.
All of the spectators were stunned into silence by this woman’s determination and pride.
They were going to remember this for the rest of their lives.
Regardless of whether she lost, she would be the eternal War God in their hearts!
A hint of respect welled up in An Lin’s heart, and he silently pulled his Chaotic Alloy Brick out of his storage ring…
“The Sun Tree War God won’t lose!” a pleasant, yet determined voice sounded.
“The War God of the Heavenly Court won’t lose either,” An Lin muttered in a low voice.
The Vermilion Bird Princess burned through all of her life force and attained even more power than she had ever possessed.
She slashed her nine-colored divine sword down toward An Lin!
An Lin raised his black brick as an indestructible shield.
A rainbow sword projection lit up the entire night sky with its dreamy beauty.
The nine-colored sword projection sliced through what remained of the spell formation and also the arena as well as the entire sixth level. Over ten thousand spectators instantly perished as part of the collateral damage.
This was a power that caused people’s hearts to tremble wildly. This was the power to annihilate all things.
All of the living beings on the fifth level looked up at the sixth level, which was tremoring violently and had been sliced apart by a divine light, and everyone ran for cover.
As for the living beings on the sixth level, most of them were in the arena surveying the battle, and all of them had been shocked into silence.
After the Vermilion Bird Princess unleashed that earth-shattering sword strike, her aura finally began to quickly diminish.
“Did I win?” She turned toward a certain direction in the arena.
Many of the birds present began to flee for their lives.
But there were those who lived for battles like this, and they remained behind to look toward the same direction the Vermilion Bird Princess was looking at.
A gargantuan fissure had been sliced into the ground, but at the end of that inky-black fissure, there was a completely unscathed black brick.
The black brick flipped over to reveal a man in white robes.
“Phew… Let me get some fresh air…”
An Lin stood up in a slightly disheveled state.
“How could this be…” The Vermilion Bird Princess’ features were deathly pale, and her body trembled slightly as blood trickled from the corners of her lips. “I’ve lost…”
An Lin turned toward her and shook his head with a faint sigh. “Are you actually retarded, half-drowned cat? It’s clear that I lost! According to the rules of the arena, getting knocked out of the bounds is a loss!”
He looked up with a smile. “So you win, half-drowned cat!”
The Vermilion Bird Princess’ body trembled as she mumbled through bloodstained lips, “I won?”
“That’s right! Congratulations, you’ve won a hundred consecutive battles!” An Lin raised a thumb at her. “You are the Sun Tree War God, Vermilion Bird Princess!”
“I won…” the Vermilion Bird Princess repeated the same sentence.
“I’m a real Sun Tree War God?”
The nine colored streamers around her gradually began to dull, just as how her life was nearing its end.
At this moment, all of the living beings in the arena were chanting the same thing.
“Sun Tree War God, Vermilion Bird Princess!”
“Sun Tree War God, Vermilion Bird Princess!”
Their combined voices converged to form a huge sound wave that erupted into the heavens.
These were genuine chants from the bottom of their hearts.
The Vermilion Bird Princess was indeed worthy of this title!
Two rows of tears flowed down the Vermilion Bird Princess’ cheeks, and she turned toward An Lin as a vibrant smile appeared on her face.
The smile was like the most beautiful thing in the world, and heaven and earth paled in comparison.
“Thank you, Lin An.”
The Vermilion Bird Princess’ body disappeared into specks of colorful light, leaving behind only her heavenly voice, which echoed in An Lin’s mind.

Falling from Earth
He won. He defeated Fate. He took his life into his own hands, the only way he knew how. He killed himself. ......................... He cheated. Fate cheated too. He didnt die. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a amateur writer. English is my first language. I appreciate it when people point out grammar issues. I also appreciate constructive critiques. I'm writing this mostly because I've read so many novels on here that i feel that I should give back to the community. Will be at least a chapter a week. Every Friday. I keep a buffer of 3 chapters, so if i get on a roll and write more chapters, there will be more updates. My chapters will be at least 3000 words, prologue excluded. I'm shooting for more like 6000 words a chapter, mostly because i never like how small the chapters are in most novels on here. Not enough MEAT. Oh and comments that touch my heart get me excited to write. Just figured that out.
