Chapter 1071: God Lan Xiaoni

Within the blue spatial passageway.

An Lin and Lan Xiaoni made their return, sending the High Priest and the High Priestess into a state of shock.

It was simply inconceivable to them that An Lin and Lan Xiaoni would be able to come back!

They were so shocked that they didn’t even react to An Lin’s provocation. They were both staring at An Lin and Lan Xiaoni, as if they had once again reverted back to inanimate statues.

After the two of them walked out from the passageway, the blue hole began to disappear. This indicated that they had indeed been sent back personally by that being.

Tian Chenji’s neck extended as she muttered with incredulity in her voice. “How could this be… The Star Dancer didn’t stop you? You didn’t receive my approval, so how were you acknowledged by that being? And it personally sent both of you back?”

She had too many questions in her head, and her mind was in complete turmoil.

No one paid any attention to this dumbstruck turtle.

Right after Tian Chenji’s voice fell, she was greeted by the sight of two figures fleeing into the distance.

“Get back here!” Tian Chenji let loose an enraged cry as she unleashed a spatial seal.

However, An Lin was already prepared, and he unleashed his Origin Energy of the Netherworld, and his Realm-Piercing Nail flashed through the air as a streak of red light, which shattered Tian Chenji’s spatial seal.

An Lin had only just broken the spatial seal when a powerful white figure flew toward them.

Ring… Ring!

The pristine white humanoid creature flew toward them at extreme speed with a greedy expression. Its hands flashed through the air like a bolt of white lightning to reach for An Lin’s storage ring.

A cold expression appeared on An Lin’s face. Why the f*ck were they always trying to take his storage ring?

“F*ck off!”

He let loose an enraged roar as he activated his Earth Lotus Supreme Skill, and a Mountain Quaking Fist further enhanced by his Origin Energy of the Netherworld hurtled toward the white figure’s head.

Terrifying energy shattered the space in its wake. It instantly shattered the white humanoid creature’s head before it even had a chance to dodge.

Blood exploded forth, and the white figure’s life was cut short at that moment.

“My Little Bai! You b*stards!!”

Tian Chenji let loose a heart-wrenching cry as irrepressible rage appeared in her eyes.

Little Bai was the fruit of about a dozen days of combined labor from herself and Xi Haizi. However, it had only been alive for less than two hours before it was slain by An Lin. This was simply too much for Tian Chenji to bear.

“You aren’t going anywhere!” Xi Haizi stepped forward, and his power of the divine dao formed a huge wave capable of engulfing and destroying everything, which swept toward An Lin and Lan Xiaoni with terrifying speed and power.

The wave was imbued with the powers of frost and annihilation and was capable of shredding a Return to Void Stage mighty figure to pieces.

The huge wave surged toward them with mountainous force, traveling at a speed much faster than they were running, and sealing away all avenues for evasion and escape. It was like a massive palm that obscured the entire sky, crashing down upon them mercilessly.

There was nowhere to run!

An Lin’s expression shifted as he prepared himself for battle.

Right at this moment, a delicate blue figure suddenly appeared in front of him.

An Lin yelled upon seeing this, “Underling Lan! Are you insane? Get back here!”

Lan Xiaoni extended a fair, slender arm, and her palm faced the huge, turbulent wave as she spoke in a voice that was gentle but imbued with a hint of divine power. “Stop!”

The seemingly-unstoppable wave suddenly stood still like a snapshot in time, as if it had received instructions from a paramount existence.

An Lin’s eyes widened, and his mouth gaped open upon seeing this.

Xi Haizi and Tian Chenji were even more astonished.

The insignia of a blue water droplet appeared on Lan Xiaoni’s head as paramount divine might erupted from her body, making her appear as if she were a god looking down upon this world.

“Shatter!”

Lan Xiaoni pushed her palm forward.

The massive wave suddenly let loose an enraged roar as it switched directions to hurtle toward Xi Haizi and Tian Chenji!

“Holy f*ck! This…” Xi Haizi was completely dumbstruck, and he was momentarily rooted to the spot in shock.

This power was way too f*cking familiar!

This was the power of the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial!

Tian Chenji hastily set up a starlight barrier, but this barrier, which was constructed in the blink of an eye, was clearly going to be no match for Xi Haizi’s full-power divine dao wave.

An Lin was perplexed. “You’re so bad*ss already, why do we need to run?”

Lan Xiaoni transmitted her voice to him. “I received some sort of divine power, which allows me to control all types of water spell techniques, but I won’t be able to do anything if they use other types of powers!”

An Lin came to a sudden realization upon hearing this!

However… why did this power sound so familiar?

He suddenly thought of his own Lightning Manipulation Technique…

An Lin turned with a stern expression toward Lan Xiaoni. “Underling Lan, be honest! Did you receive some sort of system?”

Lan Xiaoni was dumbfounded. “What?!”

An Lin: “…”

Alright, it looked like he had misunderstood…

He then thought of the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial.

The journal entry stated that the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial was the master of the sea and could control any water-type spell technique… And now Lan Xiaoni…

An Lin fell into deep thought.

He had to carefully consider the words of that mysterious being.

The two of them ran through the corridor toward the gate of the tomb.

The High Priest and the High Priestess were still chasing after them with burning rage.

However, Xi Haizi suddenly stopped and pulled Tian Chenji to a halt as well.

“What is it? If we don’t continue to give chase, they’re going to get away!” Tian Chenji wore a puzzled expression.

Xi Haizi took a deep breath. “I think… we were wrong!”
