Upon High Priest Gu Yu’s insistence, Lan Xingyang and Yu Feiyu reluctantly agreed to give the Heavenly Turtle Tribe priority if the secrets involved some sort of treasures or inheritances.

An Lin stood on the beach and became the focus of attention from both tribes.

The secrets that were about to be revealed concerned both of the major tribes of the West Sea, so many mighty figures naturally arrived on the scene.

The two High Priests, Gu Yu and Yu Feiyu, were the most proficient at star divination among everyone here, and both of them stared intently at the photographic crystal in An Lin’s hands with nervous expressions.

An Lin did not delay any longer. He tossed the photographic crystal into the sky. The special ancient text on Tian Chenji’s turtle shell was revealed for everyone to see on the beach.

In any case, he didn’t understand anything. This was just a pile of gibberish to him.

Gu Yu nodded. “Then I’ll relay the information to everyone. However, before I do, I hope everyone can swear a dao heart vow first as a non-disclosure agreement!”

Everyone immediately swore their vows.

After a short while, Gu Yu began speaking with a grave expression.

“The information on Tian Chenji’s turtle shell is a secret that can shake the entire continent!”

All of the mighty figures became even more excited upon hearing this, and they all listened with rapt attention.

Gu Yu continued in a slow voice, “I trust everyone has some recollection of the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial from ancient times, right? This was a terrifying being that had almost destroyed the entire West Sea.”

Everyone nodded. Some of them had even participated in that battle. Just the mention of the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial sent shivers running through their hearts.

This was a fiendcelestial that still gave some of them nightmares to this very day!

“The two former High Priests, Tian Chenji and Xi Haizi, almost had to sacrifice their lives to unleash the power of the divine tool, the Dead Sea God Sealing Spear, in order to slay the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial.”

This was common knowledge to all of the mighty figures present.

However, what it said next created a massive stir within the enchantment barrier!

“After slaying the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial, Tian Chenji and Xi Haizi discovered a strange power tearing through space and escaping to a different realm.

“They pursued that strange power through a passageway between two worlds and arrived at an alien world. This was a world consisting of a boundless ocean. It was the world that the Ancient Heavenly Fiendcelestial had originated from.

“The two seniors didn’t think too much of this and continued to pursue that power in order to find the source of the power, as that was most likely the root cause of the entire calamity.

“In the end… they found a god! That’s right, this was not some self-proclaimed god. If there were actually gods in this world, then the two seniors were adamant that this being was one of them!”

Everyone let loose cries of surprise upon hearing this.

This was the first time they had heard about a being that was referred to as a god even by Dao Integration Stage super mighty figures.

Even Gods of Creation wouldn’t have been referred to as such by the two former High Priests!

“The god took the strange power away and was initially quite angry. It wanted to kill Tian Chenji and Xi Haizi, but in the end, it made a deal with them.

“It said that it could bestow its paramount power to one of the exceptionally talented successors of either tribe, but in return, that successor had to do something for it… And that thing was to unite the West Sea and destroy the human race!”

Everyone drew a sharp intake of breath as they stared at Gu Yu with shock on their faces. Some of them had also turned to look at An Lin, upon which they were greeted by an expression of astonishment and befuddlement on An Lin’s face.

This was all of course all an act.

He had already been astonished before.

“What makes it think it can force us to do this?” A Heavenly Turtle Tribe mighty figure was unconvinced.

“It is a representative of the Heavenly Dao’s will!” Gu Yu continued to hand out bombshells, “The Ancient Tai Chu Realm had fallen in the end due to its infinite expansion. A Heavenly Dao that is not sentient and not governed is bound to fail.

“As such, the Heavenly Dao of the Tai Chu Continent completed a certain transformation, which allowed it to gain a certain level of sentient will. It is one of the beings that regulate the Heavenly Dao.

“That god is actually the being responsible for regulating the ocean!”
