Chapter 1119: The Wild and Joyful Wedding
Amid a flow of gentle and joyful wedding music.
Xiao Chou and Bai Yao came together at the altar.
They swore their wedding vows to the blessings of tens of thousands of wedding-goers.
Everything went very smoothly with no wedding-crashers and no unforeseen incidents.
Xiao Chou and Bai Yao’s second wedding went without a hitch.
A rain of flower petals fell from the sky.
Lan Xiaoni looked up at the happy couple on the altar with an entranced expression. “What a beautiful wedding. This is what love looks like…”
She was once a wedding-crasher, but she was now part of the audience giving the newlyweds her heartfelt blessings.
A peculiar feeling welled up in Lan Xiaoni’s heart.
It had to be said that fate worked in strange and wonderful ways sometimes. It could bring Xiao Chou and Bai Yao together, and it could also transform Lan Xiaoni from their sworn enemy to a good friend.
Lan Xiaoni stared blankly at Xiao Chou and Bai Yao with an expression of yearning on her face.
An Lin also yearned for a wedding like this, and he unconsciously held onto Xiaolan’s hand.
A faint blush appeared on Xu Xiaolan’s face, but she didn’t resist his advances.
A shiny, golden beauty also extended a slender and translucent hand to hold onto Xiao Ze’s hand with a shy expression on her face.
That’s right, Fanny had come all the way from the Pill Tower of the Opposite Shore Realm to attend this wedding.
Attending someone else’s wedding always struck people with many emotions.
For example, a yearning for marriage…
After the ceremony.
All of the guests drank to their hearts’ content.
As the hosts, An Lin and the rest of the Four Nine Immortal Sect members had to do their jobs and ensure that everyone had a good time.
Liu Qianhuan also drank a lot of wine that day.
Her intricate cheeks were completely flushed as she tapped her glass against An Lin’s. “An Lin… I… The Heavenly Sword Sect didn’t offer a congratulatory present, and it must be because of that b*tch! Don’t take it to heart, I… I’ll drink two thousand three hundred and thirty-three cups of wine as punishment!”

She drained the wine from her glass as she spoke.
She had a Soul Formation Stage body, so she had to have drunk a lot for her to become this inebriated.
“You don’t need to drink that much. Just six hundred and sixty-six cups are enough!” An Lin persuaded.
Upon hearing this, Liu Qianhuan faltered before bursting into laughter and raising her glass again. “Alright, I’ll drink six hundred and sixty-six cups as punishment then!”
“I’ll drink with you.” An Lin also raised his glass.
An Lin couldn’t do anything about Liu Qianhuan’s family issues, so he could only drink with her to alleviate some of her negative emotions.
This wine was produced in Bai Ling’s Phoenix Small World. It was extremely tasty, but it also had quite a high alcohol content. Drinking it would give one a sense of relaxation and also help one forget all of their troubles.
This was a type of wine that could intoxicate even an immortal.
After drinking six hundred and sixty-six cups of wine, An Lin stumbled away from Liu Qianhuan’s table before being dragged by Xiao Ze to another table.
“Master, Fanny says she wants to stay at the Four Nine Immortal Sect,” Xiao Ze said in a hushed voice.
“Haha… That’s great! But has her father agreed to this?” An Lin was a little inebriated, but he still instinctively asked this question.
“He has, but only for a year as a study and exchange program of sorts.” Xiao Ze seemed a little disappointed as he continued, “Furthermore, I can’t do anything too out of line with Fanny during this year. Otherwise, the Pill Sage has told me that he’s going to break my dragon legs!”
An involuntary blush appeared on Fanny’s face upon hearing this.
“That’s a very reasonable request! Make sure to control yourself, Little Xiao!” An Lin said with a solemn expression.
He hadn’t even done anything with Xu Xiaolan yet! How could he let his disciple get there first?
That would be unacceptable!
Xiao Ze nodded obediently. “Yes, Master!”
“Fanny is quite adept at pill refinement, so she can assume the role of an elder at Su Qianyun’s Moon Pavilion.” An Lin began to assign duties. “Oh, by the way, since the pavilion lord has to go to school and there are no disciples, I’m entrusting the entire Moon Pavilion to you, Fanny!”

Fanny: “…”
Xiao Ze: “…”
Fanny’s lips twitched. “So I’m a lone general?”
“No,” An Lin shook his head and said, “you’re a lone lackey! Su Qianyun is the general!”
Fanny clasped a hand over her chest and nodded with difficulty.
“Thank you, Master!”
Xiao Ze was elated, and An Lin drank ninety-nine more cups of wine with them.
An Lin stumbled out of his seat before being dragged away by the human fat ball, Yi Xi. He said something about making sure to invite him as a spectator when An Lin devoured his divine pill. An Lin was too intoxicated to hear him clearly, so he just nodded and expressed his agreement.
He then drank ninety-nine more cups of wine with Yi Xi.
He didn’t stumble far after that before he was pulled away by Dong Guo and Su Xin of the Green Wood Imperial Family.
Dong Guo looked at him with a sulky expression. “Have you forgotten about me? You didn’t even notify me about Xiao Chou’s wedding. I was only able to come here as a member of Su Xin’s entourage.”
An Lin turned to him with bleary eyes. “I’m sorry, you are… ?”
“Pfff…” A mouthful of wine exploded from Dong Guo’s mouth as he turned to An Lin with grief and indignation. “I’m your slave! What kind of master are you? You forgot about me?!”
“Oh… it’s you! I remember you, my slave, let’s have a drink!” An Lin chortled as he wrapped an arm around Dong Guo’s shoulder.
Dong Guo looked at him expressionlessly. “Do you remember who I am now? What’s my name?”
“Hahaha…”
An Lin cackled dryly. “Names aren’t important, let’s drink!”
An Lin tapped his glass to Dong Guo’s.
Dong Guo: “…”
He definitely forgot!
My God! To think a Return to Void Stage mighty figure like him would be reduced to this!
Not only was he a slave, but he was also a slave whose name had been forgotten by his master!
Dong Guo shed tears of grief and drank frantically with An Lin to alleviate his sorrow.
The wedding lasted for three days and three nights.
All of the representatives from sects all over the world departed after that.
An Lin fell into a deep sleep from excessive alcohol consumption.
This was the first time he had gotten drunk since he started cultivating.
It was a pretty good feeling.
Not only did he not experience hangover symptoms, but he was also feeling completely revitalized, as if the wine had cleansed his entire body and filled him with energy.
“This wine really is great. It’s much better than the vast majority of wines I’ve tasted,” An Lin praised it with a genuine expression.
“No sh*t! I brewed this wine myself, and it has many health benefits. A mortal would be able to extend their lifespan by ten years just from drinking a cup!
“You wasteful bastard! You probably drank in excess of a hundred thousand cups yesterday!”
Bai Ling was clearly quite annoyed, and she turned to An Lin as if she were trying to shoot laser beams out of her eyes.
She had gone to great lengths to brew so much wine only for this human water tank to guzzle it down like it was nothing. She was naturally feeling quite aggrieved as a result.
An Lin offered an apologetic smile. “Big Sister Bai’s wine is the best, and you’re even more beautiful than the wine!”
“Oh? Is that so?”
A menacing voice suddenly sounded from behind him.
An Lin shuddered before letting loose a panicked cry, “Xiaolan, let me explain!”
“Hehe…”
Thump thump thump… Bang bang bang… Clatter clatter clatter… Puff puff puff…
After some post-wedding physical therapy.
The sect leader of the Four Nine Immortal Sect gathered all of the core members of the sect for a meeting.
It was time to tally up their earnings from this wedding!

Medieval Terror
[Trickle! Trickle!] Blood… Pure unfiltered blood. Thick wetness of inhumane variety was drowning the contours of my defiled countenance with crimson slick. My warrior’s mien was brutally decorated with the vile viscera and entrails of the dead. Scattered all around me was a large pile of corpses floating in the bloodthirsty puddle of the afterlife. Accompanying my rest within this detestable domain was a rapacious array of lord Beelzebub’s kin. A swarm of black motile embodiment capable of aerial drifts made my bloody appearance barely visible. [Buzz! Buzz!] I was dead yet living, I could travel between the broken realms of existence and meddle with the vengeful souls. Such was possible by virtue of my life that had succumbed to the Lure of Enigma. The bizarre events that unfolded which brought me to this destitute phase of utter dysphoria was a mixture of tales that will leave a distasteful flavour of doleful buds on your tongue. If you wish to know more about my apocalyptic journey then feel free to turn the pages of my undying path. However, I must warn you, inquisitive readers.
