Chapter 1378: The Heavenly Dao Fragment’s Power of Laws
Just as these thoughts were running through An Lin’s mind, Feng Wuya took this opportunity to strike back, and his hand flashed toward An Lin’s body like a vicious saber!
An Lin was able to easily keep up with Feng Wuya’s speed in his current triple-enhanced state, and he maintained a grip on his Evil-Slaying Sword. He forced it against Feng Wuya’s neck as he used his other arm to shield himself from Feng Wuya’s attack.
“Tear!”
Sharp pain instantly tore through his entire body.
An Lin discovered that his divine body had been easily torn apart by Feng Wuya’s hand, leaving a ghastly wound on his arm.
“This power…” An Lin’s expression shifted again.
“Hahaha… Die…” At this moment, Feng Wuya’s attack was flashing toward him again.
An Lin immediately used his sword as a shield as his body was blasted back for several kilometers by the terrifying power behind Feng Wuya’s terrifying strike. However, some of the power was still able to bypass his Evil-Slaying Sword and tear a massive gash into his body, spreading all the way from his shoulder to his waist as blood splattered onto the ground.
Feng Wuya stood up slowly with a hint of a smile on his face. “You don’t know what’s going on, do you?”
An Lin’s brows furrowed slightly. He actually did have a rough idea of what was going on as he had encountered this power before. However, that didn’t make it any easier to deal with…
“I didn’t want to use this power here as it would affect me even with my current cultivation base…” Feng Wuya spoke in a cold voice as he looked at An Lin, “So what if your accomplice has invaded the meteorite mystic area? Do you not see that the six Kun Lun Divine Generals are still here and still haven’t left?”

An Lin faltered slightly upon hearing this before his expression darkened. “You have the meteorite?”
“Hahaha… That’s right!” A victorious smile appeared on Feng Wuya’s face. “I do have the meteorite! But it should not be referred to as a meteorite. It is a blessing from the heavens…”
Feng Wuya spread open his hand.
A white, crystalline object appeared over his palm.
The entire world fell silent at its emergence, as if it were the only thing existing in this world.
It had no set form and was constantly transitioning from one shape to another.
It didn’t even seem to have any substance, transitioning between its crystalline state and an ethereal, wispy state.
This was also the first time all of the spectating cultivators outside of the Immortal Slaying Platform had seen this object, and expressions of yearning and entrancement appeared on their faces.
“What a beautiful crystal. Is that the meteorite core from ten thousand years ago?”
“I’ve finally witnessed the mysterious meteorite!”
“I really want it…”
All of the cultivators were discussing spiritedly among themselves. The Heavenly Dao fragment seemed to possess some sort of absolute attraction, completely absorbing and entrancing all of its onlookers.
“Isn’t it beautiful? Not only did it allow me to elevate to a new cultivation base rank, but it also bestowed upon me power that is unimaginable to you. I call it the heart of the heavens.” Feng Wuya stared at the crystal with an intoxicating smile on his face as he said, “As long as I have this, I am the very heavens. I am invincible!”
An Lin couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “Heart of the heavens? You sure are good at naming things. However, I’ve killed countless arrogant scum like you who think they’re invincible…”
“Impudence!” Feng Wuya roared with rage, and the Heavenly Dao fragment merged into his body again as he unleashed an almighty punch toward An Lin!

The power of his fist fused together with heaven and earth swept forth with boundless divine might.
An Lin slashed his sword toward it, only for his sword projection to be instantly shattered by the power behind the fist.
“Hahaha… As long as I will my attacks to be unstoppable, the heart of the heavens would make my will reality, so you won’t be able to block any of my attacks!” Feng Wuya chortled with glee as he looked at An Lin with a vicious expression.
An Lin raised his sword to defend himself, but the power behind the fist passed through the Evil-Slaying Sword, crashing straight into his chest and causing it to cave in as a result.
“Pfff…” An Lin threw up a mouthful of blood, and his body swayed slightly, but he still managed to right himself.
“Hmm? Your body didn’t explode?” Feng Wuya was a little surprised. He had thought that his fist was unstoppable and would completely detonate his opponent’s body.
An Lin suddenly began to laugh as he looked at Feng Wuya.
“What are you laughing at?” Feng Wuya’s expression darkened.
“A barrier that can keep all attacks at bay; an absolute, unstoppable attack. That is the power of the laws of heaven and earth… The Heavenly Dao fragment has bestowed upon you the power of the laws of the Heavenly Dao!” An Lin nodded and said, “No wonder you think you’re invincible. In the face of the vast majority of mighty figures, you are indeed invincible.
“But did you know that yours is a borrowed power?”
An Lin splayed open his hands and rainbow lightning began to crackle joyfully between his palms. “Your power is borrowed, but my power belongs to me…”
“What the hell are you rambling on about?” Feng Wuya’s expression darkened even further. He felt like he couldn’t understand what An Lin was saying.
An Lin didn’t say anything. All he did was extend a palm toward Feng Wuya.
The rainbow lightning flashed through the air toward Feng Wuya’s chest with boundless divine might.
Feng Wuya appraised the golden lightning with a disdainful expression. “Foolish ant. Do you still not understand? After activating the power of the heart of the heavens, no one can hurt me.”
Boom!
Divine lightning roared.
The rainbow lighting instantly punctured Feng Wuya’s chest, piercing through his heart!
A huge, charred black hole appeared in his chest, from which white smoke rose into the air.
“Eh…?” Feng Wuya’s mouth gaped open as he stared down at his chest with astonishment and confusion.
Wasn’t he supposed to be invincible? How had this happened?!
“Wh… why?” Feng Wuya’s body swayed as he stared up at An Lin.
An Lin spoke in a cold voice, “You’re only using the residual power of laws within the Heavenly Dao fragment. It’s just a borrowed power. However, I possess the true power of the Heavenly Dao!”
Zap…
Boom!
Countless bolts of Golden Void Lightning exploded from An Lin’s body, materializing a Golden Void Lightning cloak around him.
Electricity flashed through An Lin’s eyes as paramount lightning might descended from the sky, striking all of the spectators with a crushing sense of asphyxiation.
A bolt of Golden Void Lightning fell from the sky, piercing through the Immortal Slaying Platform’s natural formation before transforming into a golden lightning sword that was as dazzling as the sun.
Boundless golden light became the only color in this world.
All of the cultivators present, including Feng Wuya, were struck by a unanimous thought.
This man who was draped in his lightning cloak as he manipulated the Golden Void Lightning Sword…
This was no human. This was a god!

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
