Chapter 1400: Disaster for the Divine Disc League
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
Reginald knew that the three Holy Disciples had actually met the Holy Leader, and the Holy Disciples had told him that as long as he pledged his wholehearted allegiance to the Holy Blood Cult, he would also get a chance to eventually meet the Holy Leader.
What an exhilarating thought!
Reginald was a high-level Holy Worshipper, and he wanted nothing more than to meet the Holy Leader. To him, the Holy Leader was the most brilliant being in this entire world. He was the beacon of eternal life!
He looked at the final drop of the Holy Leader’s blood. He stuck out the tip of his tongue with a mixture of excitement and reluctance on his face before swallowing the drop of blood.
Reginald’s entire body trembled, and his eyes lit up with extreme bliss, as if he was sampling the most delicious cuisine in this world.
He continued to savor and enjoy the drop of blood within the dimly-lit chamber as it purified and cleansed his body.
Boom!
A violent explosion suddenly erupted outside of the Divine Disc League, immediately following which the massive blood disc revolving in the sky tremored violently. All of his furniture and utensils also tremored violently, as if a violent earthquake had struck.
“Hmm? What’s going on?” A sense of foreboding welled up in Reginald’s heart.
Boom!
Another earth-shattering explosion erupted alongside the anguished wails of the Blood Tribe cultivators from the Divine Disc League.
A terrifying pillar of golden light crashed down from outside of the blood disc, puncturing the blood disc formation and pulverizing countless walls and Blood Tribe bodies with its unstoppable force.
Bam!
Even the wall of the secret chamber was blasted open.
A woman with short, golden hair emerged amid the dazzling divine light while holding a silvery-white longsword and making her way toward Reginald with a cold, arrogant expression on her face.
There were also two living beings hovering in the air behind her, but their identities were masked by the heavy black robes draped over their bodies.

“Ada! How dare you invade my Divine Disc League?” Reginald roared with rage.
The woman before him was one of the seeded candidates competing for the position of Holy Disciple.
She also held the distinction of being the closest Blood Tribe mighty figure to the Dao Integration Stage!
A golden divine light enshrouded Ada’s entire body, and her eyes held no emotion. “Leader of the Divine Disc League, Reginald, my master, Empress Helen, would like to see you.”
Reginald’s eyes widened with incredulity. “Empress Helen wants to see me?”
Empress Helen was one of the four Blood Tribe Dao Integration Stage super mighty figures, and her forte lay in soul-searching and creating illusionary realms. She was the most powerful intelligence officer in the entire Blood Tribe. In fact, it was said that nothing that happened within the Dark Marshlands could escape her notice…
“Why would Empress Helen want to see me?” The sense of foreboding in Reginald’s heart intensified.
“You do not need to ask any questions. Just heed the call of the empress,” Ada said in a cold voice.
Reginald’s heart sank even further. If the empress wanted to deliver some good news to him, she wouldn’t be extending such a violent invitation. Ada was clearly here to capture him for interrogation!
The Blood Tribe emperors were all paramount beings, and no one dared to defy their orders.
“And what if I refuse?” Reginald knew that he was most likely going to die either way today, and a resolute expression appeared on his face.
It was very likely that word had gotten out.
If Empress Helen really was going to interrogate him about the Holy Leader, there was no way he would be able to withstand the interrogation and soul-searching no matter how determined he was to do so.
In that case, it would be better to refuse! He didn’t want to reveal any information about the Holy Leader, and he was absolutely determined not to betray the Holy Leader!
Ada’s expression shifted slightly, clearly a little surprised by Reginald’s decision. She came to her senses a few seconds later, and her voice cooled even further. “Refusing to heed an emperor’s order is a crime comparable to treason. You know what the consequences are!”

“Hahaha… I’m only loyal to the blood within my body, and that is something I have never betrayed. As for you guys, seeing as you’ve come here, you can stay here forever!” Reginald laughed heartily as he stamped a foot violently into the ground, upon which a dark red formation replaced the shattered one.
“Divine Disc Slaughter Formation, activate!”
The Divine Disc Slaughter Formation was the Divine Disc League’s trump card. It had been nurtured with blood for over ten thousand years and had been created by the essence of countless tons of blood. Upon activation, the formation could unleash a Dao Integration Stage power!
Reginald had already made a final decision to activate this trump card and eliminate the Holy Leader’s enemies before escaping the Dark Marshlands if he could survive!
Boom!
The massive blood disc in the sky suddenly began to revolve more than a hundred times faster than it had been, and a vortex of blood began to converge at its center.
At the same time, an extremely fearsome power erupted from the formation before crashing directly down upon Ada’s body.
This was an extremely concentrated power of life and death. The two contrasting powers could combine to create an extremely explosive force, like a grinding disc that could instantly reduce the average Return to Void Stage mighty figure to dust!
A golden divine light formed the most resolute barrier around Ada’s body while keeping the power of life and death sweeping toward her at bay.
“Reginald, you really have betrayed the emperors! Is this also because of the holy blood?” Ada’s expression had completely darkened as she roared with rage.
“You know about the holy blood?” Reginald’s expression shifted, and he immediately crushed a communication jade talisman. “I really can’t let you live now!”
He pressed a hand downward, and a dark red power instantly focused on Ada’s body like a grinding disc.
Boom!
Everything within a radius of several dozen kilometers was instantly reduced to dust by the power of the formation!
Even the divine disc itself was beginning to crumble from overexertion.
However, to Reginald’s astonishment, an incandescent golden light erupted from the sea of dark red energy.
Not only was this Ada’s golden divine dao light, but the two black-robed powerful beings were also unleashing peerlessly powerful golden divine lights. The three of them stood in a stable triangular formation, creating a triangular defensive barrier that kept the violent sea of dark red power at bay.
“This divine light… Even Empress Helen’s three holy golden guardians are here?!” Reginald’s expression shifted once again. The three holy golden guardians had a combination technique that could unleash a power comparable to a Dao Integration Stage super mighty figure for a short period of time.
It looked like Empress Helen had been onto him for a long time. Otherwise, she would not have made such extensive preparations and even deployed two of her mysterious holy golden guardians along with Ada.
One Blood Tribe powerful being after another began to gather on the scene, all of whom wore expressions of uneasiness as they looked at Ada and the two holy golden guardians.
“What’s going on, Alliance Leader?” one of the Blood Tribe cultivators asked.
At the same time, one powerful aura after another erupted into the heavens.
A series of Return to Void Stage mighty figures emerged from the blood disc before turning to face Ada and the others with animosity on their faces.
“Run!!!” Reginald roared to all of the Divine Disc League members.
He was saying to all of the oblivious Blood Tribe cultivators, but more so to those fellow devout worshippers of the Holy Leader!
