Chapter 1442: The Re-emergence of the Finger of the Heavenly Dao
Millions of snow maidens were witnessing this extremely gruesome scene from below.
Some of them couldn’t even bear to look, some of them were praying to the Ice Matriarch, while others were unleashing a relentless barrage of spell techniques to attack the Heavenly Time God, even though provoking her could very possibly spell their deaths.
However, the Heavenly Time God seemed to be doing something extremely important and didn’t have the time to take care of them. All she did was create an impregnable golden barrier, and she was invincible.
After that, she continued to torture An Lin within the barrier!
“An Lin…”
The Celestial Thearch crawled up from the ground with great difficulty and threw up another mouthful of blood.
The Heavenly Time God had punctured his chest and almost smashed his head open, but he knew that his suffering was incomparable to even one percent of what An Lin had to endure!
The Heavenly Time God had used her Heavenly Time Power again, and there was no way to break through it.
“Analyze…” Countless streams of information flashed past the Celestial Thearch’s eyes again as he looked up at the golden barrier of time. All he could hope for now was that An Lin would be able to last until his analysis was complete. Only then would the two of them have any hope for survival!
“Ice Matriarch, what are you doing?”
Shangguan Yi was about to step forward when Meng Zhi immediately grabbed her with a tense expression.
“I’m going to use the Ice Matriarch’s power,” Shangguan Yi replied as she held the heart of the Ice Matriarch firmly in her hand.
Meng Zhi’s expression shifted drastically. “Have you gone insane? Your body can’t handle the power of the Ice Matriarch! You’re going to die if you use it forcefully!”
Shangguan Yi turned to Meng Zhi with unyielding determination in her golden eyes. “An Lin is here to save us. Are we just going to watch as he gets tortured to death?”

Meng Zhi opened her mouth, but she didn’t know what to say.
“There may be some hope if I can attain power that transcends beyond the Dao Integration Stage for a moment…” Shangguan Yi took a deep breath as she strengthened her grip on the heart of the Ice Matriarch even further.
Within the golden barrier.
“Time reversal.”
The peculiar power enshrouded the bloodstained An Lin again and instantly healed him again.
An Lin’s mouth was hanging open and his eyes were hollow as his body trembled and spasmed uncontrollably.
His body had recovered, so he wouldn’t die.
However, the pain of the torture remained in his mind, stacking on top of one another to plunge him into even more horror and trauma.
“Eighteenth strike.” The Heavenly Time God wore her demented smile.
An Lin was in despair. This was only the eighteenth strike?
He really was going to go insane once all thirty thousand strikes were delivered!
He didn’t think that there would be such a petty enemy in this world! She shouldn’t be the Heavenly Time God, she should be the Heavenly Grudge God!
Right at this moment, the eighteenth strike had already landed.
An Lin suddenly realized that he hadn’t even thought of how he was going to resist against this eighteenth strike.
Each and every single gesture of resistance was a representation of his unyielding spirit and will. He was going to resist no matter what!
However, the Heavenly Time God was too fast, and there was no time to unleash any spell techniques.
Screw it, just stab a finger forward as an obligatory gesture…
An Lin extended a finger forward and thought to himself: I’ll poke you to death!
Right at this moment, his system suddenly flashed.
That technique that had always been dark and inactive suddenly came to life.
Perhaps his will to kill and hatred toward his opponent was so strong that it had awakened that dormant technique.
All of a sudden, heaven and earth fell silent.

This was the first time the Heavenly Time God felt like time was slowing outside of her control.
She could see an index finger drawing closer and closer to her.
The index finger was glowing with a golden, divine light.
It wasn’t coming toward her all that quickly, but it gave her a sense of unavoidability and inevitability, as if this finger were a paramount being between heaven and earth and that it was capable of poking through the entire heavens!
The Heavenly Time God immediately switched from attack to defense. “Passage of time!”
A golden ball of light exuding an ancient aura appeared before her.
However, that finger tore apart the ball of light extremely violently before continuing on toward the Heavenly Time God with absolute killing intent.
Initial mastery would allow one to annihilate all beings. Ultimate mastery would allow one to shatter the void, traverse through time and space, and obliterate the Great Dao!
This was the Finger of the Heavenly Dao!
It had been dormant for many years as the system determined that he had no right to use this technique, but it had finally lit up again.
An Lin seemed to have also attained enlightenment in that instant, and he poured forth even more power and conviction into his Finger of the Heavenly Dao!
Boom!
The sky was sliced in half by the power behind his golden finger. The clouds dissipated, and the golden energy continued onward with an unstoppable force, shattering all space in its wake!
The fingertip fell squarely on the Heavenly Time God’s forehead.
The Heavenly Time God’s bloodcurdling cries reverberated throughout heaven and earth, as if she was enduring extreme agony.
All of the snow maidens could see that finger, which seemed to have punctured heaven and earth.
It was so unstoppably powerful, and everyone was struck by the urge to fall to their knees. They felt that if that finger had been directed at the sky, it really would be able to stab a hole in the very sky.
“Is this Sect Leader An Lin’s trump card? How devastating!”
“What kind of power is this? There seems to be no end to his finger! I’m really scared that he’s going to destroy the world by accident!”
“Can he win?”
“Sect Leader An Lin’s attack can sink the entire continent, no opponent will be able to stand against it!”
All of the snow maidens were discussing spiritedly among themselves.
An Lin’s Finger of the Heavenly Dao had been completely unleashed.
The Heavenly Time God was still howling with anguish as a hole appeared on her head before her body began to crumble and disintegrate!
The omnipresent golden light dissipated.
Only An Lin was left standing in the sky in his flowing white robe.
As for the Heavenly Time God, she was already long gone.
Heaven and earth suddenly fell silent.
A tsunami wave of cheers then erupted!
“Ah…! Sect Leader An Lin is so cool!”
“Waah… We finally won!”
“Thank you, Sect Leader An Lin!”
“That finger was way too terrifying! As expected of the Heavenly Court War God!”
“An Lin, I love you!”
All of the snow maidens were yelling at the top of their lungs up at the man in the sky.
All of the snow maidens were either whooping with elation or weeping for joy.
This victory had been far too difficult to come by!
Just as all of the snow maidens were cheering with excitement and elation.
An Lin’s stomach suddenly began to expand, and his skin was also showing signs of cracking open.
“Sect Leader An Lin doesn’t look quite right.”
“What’s going on? Why is he not moving?”
“His body seems to be expanding. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?”
Just as all of the snow maidens were discussing among themselves in confusion…
Bam!
An Lin exploded again right before everyone’s eyes!
Blood mist erupted from his body, as if a large, red flower were blossoming in the sky!

It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
