Chapter 1452: How Do You Want to Die?

A burst of suction force suddenly erupted from the images on the river as it detected An Lin’s approach.

An Lin’s heart sank, but before he could even do anything, the suction force seemed to have lost its target upon coming into contact with his unsubstantial body, and it began to dissipate.

“Impressive…” He nodded with approval.

An Lin wiped the tears from his face and nodded. “That’s right.”

Chen Chen’s expression eased slightly before he said in a hesitant voice, “Mr. An Lin, why are you acting so strange? Have you been cursed?”

An Lin immediately nodded. “That’s right. I’ve been afflicted by a curse.”

“Really?” Chen Chen stroked his chin with a confused expression. “But I can’t sense any curse on your body…”

An Lin looked up at the golden space around him with a dejected expression. “Perhaps because this is a curse of too high a caliber? There should be a way to dispel or transfer it, but I’m unable to do so at my current power level. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be tormented by this curse…”

An Lin heaved a sigh of relief.

The system had never given him a mission that was sure to lead to death, which was why he had the courage to step into the river.

He stood by the river and watched it flow before his eyes.

It was an image of serene nature, with no cruel torture method to be seen!
