Chapter 1572: The Temptation of Heaven Crushing
The red karma hurtled toward the Celestial Thearch as fast as a bolt of lightning.
His heart jolted with shock upon seeing this. He had gotten carried away by his newfound power and had forgotten all about Heavenly God Jordan.
Heavenly God Jordan was not some weak noob that could be ignored. If he unleashed all of his powers, he possessed combat prowess comparable to God of Creation Stage beings. Even in just his eight halo state, the karma spell technique he was able to unleash was close to a God of Creation Stage spell technique.
The Celestial Thearch couldn’t find any way to evade the attack.
However, right at this moment, a white figure descended from the sky and sliced through karma with a pair of yin and yang swords!
The red karma line was sliced cleanly in half by the sword projection.
White Spirit Snake’s long hair danced in the wind, and she turned toward Heavenly God Jordan with a cold, menacing expression. “It’s not a good habit to interfere in other people’s battles.”
At this moment, a woman in a black dress sent her massive sword crashing down upon Heavenly God Jordan.
“Heaven Crushing Treasured Sword!”
Boom!
A golden sword projection parted heaven and earth and blasted Heavenly God Jordan back several kilometers.
The Celestial Thearch heaved a sigh of relief before charging toward the Heavenly Mountain God again.
The Heavenly Mountain God laughed heartily as the massive gash on its chest began to quickly heal. “Celestial Thearch, my body is as eternal as a mountain and possesses far more life force and longevity than you can imagine. Your attacks are only powerful enough to scratch an itch for me! If you want to exchange blows like this with me, you’re going to die well before I do!”
The Celestial Thearch’s battle intent was surging, and he curled his fingers in one hand into claws as two scintillating golden imperial seals appeared on his palm and the back of his hand. The power of the heavens fell upon his hand, and an incredibly domineering will that refused to bow to anyone, even to the heavens, erupted.

The Heavenly Mountain God’s eyelids twitched. “Again?!”
“Hahaha… Real men fight by exchanging fists!” The Celestial Thearch laughed heartily, and his aura surged into the heavens as he charged forward again with no fear on his face, “Heaven Crushing Mountain Toppling Claw!”
“Exchange fists?” The Heavenly Mountain God’s eyes widened. “You’re clearly using claws!”
It unleashed another fist toward the Celestial Thearch as it spoke, and its power was unleashed to the very maximum to create maximal weight and maximal kinetic force, which in turn gave rise to the power to crush all things!
Bam!
The sound of a colossal gong being struck thundered across heaven and earth.
The Celestial Thearch was crushed by an unimaginable power, and his tendons and meridians were almost shattered.
However, at this moment, the Celestial Thearch’s Heaven Crushing Mountain Toppling Claw also landed.
His sharp, golden claw tore through the Heavenly Mountain God’s indestructible body with merciless brutality.
“Tear!”
Five massive gashes were left on its earthy skin.
“Ah…!” The Heavenly Mountain God’s anguished wails erupted at this moment.
The Heaven Crushing Techniques were able to damage and destroy the essence of the Heavenly Dao! As a representative of the Heavenly Dao, there was no way that the Heavenly Mountain God would not be hurt by the Celestial Thearch’s Heaven Crushing Techniques!
It was only putting on a hard front when it said the Celestial Thearch’s claws were only good for scratching an itch.
If it wasn’t wailing with anguish, then simply more power output was required!
The Celestial Thearch was knocked flying with blood gushing from his mouth, but he was elated by the sight of the wailing Heavenly Mountain God.
So… even the heavens felt pain.
This was the first time he had fought to his heart’s content against the heavens, and it was an intoxicating feeling!
The Celestial Thearch was finally starting to understand why so many people liked the Heaven Crushing Sect. When they realized that the heavens could be defeated, why wouldn’t they challenge its authority? The chance to stamp the heavens into the ground and lead the life of an almighty powerful being was the dream of all cultivators!

There had been countless people in history who were constantly talking about defying the natural order or crushing the heavens, but very few of them actually acted in accordance with those bold words. Most of them were just retards with hyperactive imaginations and a lack of self-awareness.
However, the Heaven Crushing Sect made this impossibly distant dream a potential reality, and it had become a supreme power that was revered by all.
Even though many of the powers who were in support of destroying the human race didn’t want to admit it, the reality was that the Heaven Crushing Sect had become the undisputed number one power across the entire Tai Chu Continent.
The Celestial Thearch initially looked down on the Heaven Crushing Sect. He felt like they were just a sect full of reckless extremists who were going to lead the human race and perhaps even the entire world to destruction sooner or later.
However, he was beginning to understand what the Heaven Crushing Sect was all about now.
The heavens constantly hung over everyone’s head.
Which cultivator wouldn’t want to challenge its paramount authority if they had a chance?!
“Isn’t that better now?” The Celestial Thearch chortled gleefully as he swallowed an immortal pill before pouncing toward the Heavenly Mountain God again.
“You’re insane!” The Heavenly Mountain God’s tattered body healed quickly, and it too charged toward the Celestial Thearch as its most essential power erupted forth from its almighty fist!
At this moment, the earthy divine halo above its head was already dimming slightly.
Their clash triggered an earth-shattering disaster.
There were no longer any living beings within a radius of a hundred and fifty kilometers.
At this moment, over five hundred kilometers away from the battlefield.
Sun Yuluo looked at the tall and slender woman beside him before speaking in a trembling voice, “Pavilion Lord Bai, what are you doing? Are you trying to draw the enemy to us?”
Bai Ling had produced a gargantuan cannon from her spatial storage device.
The cannon occupied a land area with a radius of over a kilometer and a barrel radius of over a thousand feet. It was constructed entirely from some sort of silvery-white metallic material and had countless black symbols and extremely complex spell formations carved upon it.
Not only that, but there were also a smorgasbord of mechanical components on the cannon that were operating at high speed.
No one could figure out anything about the cannon aside from the fact that extremely terrifying power was currently gathering in its barrel.
Everyone was a little fearful as they looked at Bai Ling.
Bai Ling replied with a nonchalant expression, “I’m not trying to draw the enemy to us. I’m trying to save our beloved sect leader!
“Our beloved sect leader is too useless and was crushed under a mountain with no way out. As exceptional members of the sect, shouldn’t we do something?”
Everyone’s expression shifted again upon seeing this.
“Save An Lin? But… but he’s under such a massive mountain… Will that work?” Su Qianyun blinked her gorgeous eyes with a hesitant expression on her face.
“You’re going to blast the mountain with that cannon?” Merlin’s lips twitched.
Bai Ling looked up at the almost infinitely large mountain, which stretched into the clouds, and nodded. “Colossal objects like these naturally have to be taken care of using the most brutal methods. Seeing as we can’t move the mountain, we’ll just have to make it explode!”
“Gasp…”
Everyone drew a sharp intake of breath upon hearing this.
How terrifyingly powerful would this cannon have to be to detonate such a massive mountain?
“Um, what if the cannon blast is too powerful and blasts Master to death as well?” Xiao Hong asked in her sweet voice. She had no doubts about the power of Bai Ling’s cannon, but she was instead concerned that the cannon would be too powerful.
“Well…” Bai Ling blinked as if she had not actually considered that question.
“Haha… He has such thick skin, so he’ll survive for sure. Don’t worry.” A reassuring smile lit up her beautiful features as she offered words of consolation.
Everyone was even more panicked at the sight of Bai Ling’s smile.
Bai Ling clapped her hands with a wide smile. “Alright, get back. My Super Heaven Crushing Cannon 2.0 is about to shoot!”

Legacy of Blood
Ao Ruang lives in a village isolated from the outside world. Due to a tragic fate he finds himself far away from his home on the brink of death. Only to be entrusted with the legacy of a near extinct race.A Legacy he must embrace.A Legacy that fills humanity with suspicion and hate.A Legacy written in blood. Hello Author here!I hope you all are enjoying my take on a cultivation story. I wanted to take elements I enjoy from cultivation novels while avoiding some of the tropes and insane power creep. I want to keep things as grounded as possible. The story is a bit quick paced in the start, but you will find that it slows down to a decent pace later on. The romance is going to be a slow burn and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise. While our protagonist Ao Ruang is the main man of the story their were will be times other characters will get some love also.Lastly, there will be occasional goals from latest chapter if those goals are reached I will release a bonus side chapter that focuses on other characters we have met before and I'm considering having polls to decide who the side chapter will be on.Please consider supporting me in anyway you can. For now I'm just looking for people to review, suggest to others, and interact.Respectfully,Joseon Walking
