Chapter 1576: Combination Attack

“You’re not going anywhere! You think you can just come and go as you please?”

The Heavenly Mountain God immediately let loose an enraged roar before giving chase.

However, An Lin and Xu Xiaolan stood in its way as they unleashed their sword strikes toward the Heavenly Mountain God.

Even though the Heavenly Mountain God was extremely reluctant to let the Celestial Thearch go, it had no choice but to defend itself against its two new assailants.

An Lin unleashed his Evil Sword Technique along with his Heavenly Wind Power to imbue his sword with the power to slice through all things.

He was currently using his Shimmering Spirit Evil Sword Technique.

His speed was elevated drastically, thereby allowing him to evade the Heavenly Mountain God’s attack and flash toward it before sending his sword crashing down viciously!

A sharp screeching sound erupted from behind the Heavenly Mountain God, and its indestructible body had another ghastly gash inflicted upon it.

The Heavenly Mountain God turned before launching an enraged fist toward An Lin.

An Lin had just attacked and did not have time to evade. Thankfully, he had been maintaining his wind of absolute power this entire time.

An earth-shattering boom erupted.

The transparent barrier of wind that could keep all powers at bay caved in from the devastating strike.

An Lin immediately borrowed on the power of the fist to hurtle into the distance, thereby allowing him to completely dispel the power of his opponent’s attack.

It was also at this moment that a figure in a jade dress swept through the air.

“Get back here!” The Heavenly Mountain God was roiling with thunderous rage, and it crashed toward Xu Xiaolan at an extremely terrifying speed.

Xu Xiaolan felt like a mighty, boundless mountain was crashing down upon her. If she didn’t do anything, her entire body would be completely pulverized in the next second!

In this dire situation, Xu Xiaolan took her eyes off her enemy and turned toward An Lin.

No more communication was required than a single glance.

A crimson sigil suddenly began to glow with incandescent light, taking the shape of half of a phoenix on the back of her hand.

The same mirror image appeared on the back of An Lin’s hand, and the two halves of the phoenix could be combined to form a phoenix that soared into the sky!

A boundless golden light suddenly erupted from the crisscrossed gashes on the Heavenly Mountain God’s back.

That’s right; An Lin had already left a trace of his Mutant Blood Phoenix power within the Heavenly Mountain God’s body during his previous attack, something which had not escaped Xu Xiaolan’s notice. No communication was required before she too left a trace of her Mutant Blood Phoenix power within the Heavenly Mountain God’s body.

The two powers converged at the point where the two gashes met!

Xu Xiaolan raised her Dragon Sparrow Sword high into the sky. “Destruction…”

An Lin raised an arm into the sky, and his sigil shone as bright as the sun. “Of Sun and Stars!”

The two of them yelled in unison, “Heaven Crushing Edition!”

The incomplete powers of the Mutant Blood Phoenix combined to form a complete power once again! The phoenix was reborn, and it rose into the sky as boundless Heaven Crushing Divine Flames exploded within the Heavenly Mountain God’s body!

Boom!

The earth tremored violently.

The crimson phoenix spread open its wings, and it was as if it had passed through the Heavenly Mountain God’s body, melting and destroying everything within it with its terrifyingly scorching temperatures.

It was as if a star had exploded, or the sun had fallen.

The Heavenly Mountain God let loose a bloodcurdling cry when it was afflicted by this attack, which was imbued with boundless scorching love.

This was true agony! It was an agony that reached into the core of its being!

It was quite clear that this extremely unique Heaven Crushing Technique was capable of inflicting much more damage on the Heavenly Mountain God than it had anticipated!

The Heavenly Mountain God was extremely grief-stricken to find that one Heaven Crushing freak prodigy had finally left, only to be replaced by two!

The crimson phoenix’s Heaven Crushing Divine Flames transformed the earth into a sea of flames.

Xu Xiaolan quickly took advantage of this explosion to rush back in retreat.

Her features were slightly pale as she had expended a huge amount of energy to unleash that combination attack, to the extent that even her Holy Vermilion Flame had almost been completely depleted. Thus, she pulled out and swallowed an immortal pill from her storage ring.

One could not afford to be stingy in a battle of this caliber. She had to use whatever resource that could prove useful to her as a failure in this battle would spell her death!

An Lin arrived beside Xu Xiaolan and turned to her with a smile. “Xiaolan, we really are a match made in heaven. We get along so well even in battle…”

Xu Xiaolan blushed with embarrassment. “Stop fooling around!”

An Lin smiled. “The Heavenly Mountain God expended a lot of power to seal us with Mount Buzhou, and the Celestial Thearch then ground it down further. It was barely holding on when we got to it. Can’t you see that even his movements have slowed? The Heavenly Mountain God doesn’t have much left, and we’ll win as long as we can continue to chip away at it!”

An enraged roar suddenly erupted from within the crimson Divine Flames.

The flames then began to quickly converge, as if a vortex was sucking them in.

An Lin and Xu Xiaolan’s expressions both shifted at the same time upon seeing this.

There was a tall and mighty figure standing proudly at the center of the sea of flames.

There was a massive hole in its body from which crimson lava was pouring forth.

Its earthy body was already as scorching hot as the sun and was now a reddish-golden color. There was still molten lava flowing through the veined patterns on its body like small creeks.

Almost all of the Mutant Blood Phoenix’s Divine Flames had been absorbed into its body. At the same time, its temperature began to rise again and again as if there were no upper limits.

The terrifying heat radiating from its body made the space around it shimmer and warp. Its earthy yellow eyes had turned completely crimson, and they were shimmering with a dangerous light.

“Huff, huff…” The sound of its panting was like the snarls of a ferocious beast.

The Heavenly Mountain God stared at An Lin and Xu Xiaolan as its aura became more and more terrifying.

Xu Xiaolan and An Lin both took an involuntary step backward.

An Lin drew a sharp intake of breath. “Could it be that our last technique made the rock golem evolve into a lava monster?”
