Chapter 1645: Overwhelmingly Powerful Enemies
An Lin and the others were greeted by a sight that chilled them to the bone.
Underneath the blue sky, an earthy yellow divine dragon obscured the sun.
Each and every flap of its wings sent gale-force winds surging for hundreds of kilometers.
However, the dragon was not all that worthy of note. What was far more noteworthy were the dozen or so figures standing upon its back.
There was a demonic bear the size of a small mountain with fur like sharp spikes.
There was a Thousand Change Divine Monkey clad in golden armor.
There were seven Heaven Pioneer Stage Great Generals.
There were two Heavenly Human Tribe living beings whose cultivation bases An Lin were unable to determine.
And there were three beings with paramount divine halos above their heads…
An Lin didn’t know who they were, but he could tell that they were extremely dangerous.
These were, without a doubt, Heavenly Gods…
There were a total of fifteen enemies.
It wasn’t much, but all of them were extraordinarily powerful!
Dongfang Zhuangshi’s eyes widened, and his flesh crawled.
What kind of insane lineup was this?
He was just an insignificant little beast at the Dao Integration Pinnacle Stage trying to recover something that belonged to him. To what did he owe the honor of being greeted by such a grand welcoming party?!
He was on the verge of tears as he turned toward An Lin. “Do they want to kill you that badly?”
An Lin replied with a slightly awkward expression, “Well, you know that I’m rather popular among the Heavenly Human Tribe.”
Dongfang Zhuangshi almost threw up a mouthful of blood.
Popular my f*cking a*s!
“Why?! Why did I come with you guys?!” Dongfang Zhuangshi howled with grief.
He really wanted to smash his own head in. Why did he decide to accompany An Lin back to the Kingdom of the Nine States?
The Heavenly Gods could see that he was traveling with An Lin, so they were probably under the impression that he was An Lin’s ally. He was well and utterly screwed now.

“How about we think about how to deal with this current situation rather than complain?” Xu Xiaolan suggested.
An Lin heaved a faint sigh. “No wonder Xiao Fu told us to enjoy the rest of our time in this world. To think our enemies are this formidable…”
Everyone had just endured an arduous battle and did not have much energy left.
Even in peak condition, they would probably only be able to stand up to one Heavenly God.
But now, there were five Heavenly Gods…
And that wasn’t even taking into account the three Dao Integration Stages super mighty figures and seven Heaven Pioneer Stage Great Generals.
It didn’t look like there was any way out no matter how they thought about it.
This was a dire situation that plunged them into despair!
“It’s very likely that the phenomenon triggered by Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong’s death drew them here…” Tina speculated.
“We should think about how we’re going to get out of this situation!” Xu Xiaolan reiterated in a firm voice.
Tina’s tiny face instantly fell. “It’s exactly because I can’t think of anything that I’m making all of these retrospective observations to try to alleviate our anxiety…”
Everyone was depressed upon hearing this.
She was right. How could there possibly be any way to get out of this situation?
They couldn’t really do anything aside from making some useless observations in hindsight!
At this moment, an earth-shattering bear’s roar erupted.
“Roar! Sect Leader An Lin of the Four Nine Immortal Sect, I didn’t think that you would have the guts to invade my Sinister Spirit Beast Cesspool!”
The Primordial Demonic Bear’s aura erupted into the clouds. “You think you can run away after killing the Divine Bat Emperor and Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong? Don’t be naive! Today is the day that you die! I’m going to use your blood to commemorate the fallen Divine Bat Emperor and Yu Qiong!”
An Lin aimed a cold glare at the demonic bear and chuckled coldly. “Dao Integration Initial Stage trash has no right to run its mouth here. Find someone else to talk to me.”

“Roar!” The Primordial Demonic Bear exploded with rage.
At this moment, a voice filled with paramount might sounded, “An Lin, are you surprised?”
The one who spoke was an extremely tall and broad man with an unfathomably vast aura. He was wearing a white robe.
A faint smile appeared on An Lin’s face. “I didn’t think that you would deploy so many Heavenly Gods just to kill me. Aren’t you guys leaving the Northern Heavenly Gate open to attack?”
“Hehehe… There’s no need for you to worry about that…” An ethereal and insubstantial Heavenly God sitting atop a throne chuckled in a gentle voice.
A Heavenly God with a pair of menacing tusks and draped in a grey robe spoke in a cold voice, “An Lin, we have set up a formation within a radius of thousands of kilometers to kill you. You can’t even use your voice transmission talisman here to call for help. If you relinquish all resistance and enter my soul realm, I, the great Heavenly Soul God, can grant you a comfortable death…”
An Lin chuckled upon hearing this. “I surrender. Can you not kill me?”
“Hmph! An Lin, you killed so many of our Heavenly Gods, and you still want to live? You’ve already been included on our list of ten must-kill living beings,” a white ball with an extremely beautiful divine halo above it spoke in an enraged voice.
An Lin’s lips twitched upon hearing this.
Ten must-kill living beings?
It really was a tragedy to be held in such high regard by the Heavenly Dao…
No wonder there would be five Heavenly Gods deployed at once to kill him.
Sigh… Couldn’t they come one at a time?
Even though An Lin was in despair, he couldn’t show it. He continued to maintain his calm and collected facade as he tried to stall for time. “I possess the powers of many Heavenly Gods. Don’t you think it would be a pity to kill me? If you accept my surrender, I can definitely be of great help to you…”
A Heavenly Goddess with green curls chuckled with amusement. “Sure, we can accept your surrender. Our mission is to kill all humans, so kill that woman beside you first to show us your sincerity.”
Boom!
An extremely terrifying aura exploded forth.
It was as if a paramount god had descended from the heavens with flaming wrath.
The Primordial Demonic Bear and Thousand Change Divine Monkey were both struck by an instinctive sense of horror, and they stared at the white-robed man in the distance with astonishment, feeling as if they were going to be engulfed by his flaming wrath!
Not only them, but even the Heavenly Goddess with the green curls felt an indescribable sense of pressure.
It was quite clear that his rage was directed toward her!
“I’ve changed my mind.” An Lin’s eyes had turned golden and were imbued with supreme divine might. “I don’t like the looks of you, so I’ll kill you first!”
All of the Heavenly Gods smiled indifferently upon hearing this, as if they were looking at an ant that was struggling for its life.
An Lin’s storage ring flashed, and a jade talisman appeared in his hand, which he instantly crushed!
“There’s a jade talisman that can transmit your location even from here?!” The Heavenly Soul God’s expression darkened, and it waved a hand through the air, upon which an invisible soul power created a cage that isolated everything for thousands of kilometers.
However, right at this moment, a bolt of Golden Void Lightning tore a massive hole into its cage!
An invisible ripple passed through the hole in the cage and disappeared into the distance.
“Come here, Grandmaster Construction Cultivator!” An Lin called out.
