Chapter 1799: Arrival of the Heaven Pioneer Stage Powerful Being
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
“Keep persevering, we can win!”
Qing Xinghui offered spirited words of encouragement.
Over half of the silver Gundams on the battlefield were already out of commission, and over half of the Heavenly Human Tribe powerful beings had also perished. They two sides looked to be evenly matched, but the humans still had the Dawn battleship, which was still completely unscathed!
It opened fire relentlessly on the Heavenly Human Tribe powerful beings in the distance, and even the Soul Piercing Stage Heavenly Human Tribe generals were unable to keep its cannon blasts at bay.
The humans held a significant upper hand!
“Jesse, I have to find a chance to destroy that pyramid,” a tall and slender female Soul Piercing Stage general spoke in a cold voice.
A male general holding a dagger in his hand nodded. “Alright, I’ll launch a surprise attack to see if I can break through the defenses of the pyramid right when it’s unleashing an attack. You will assist me and listen to my—”
Bam!
An explosive bang erupted.
White blood splattered all over Jesse’s face.
He faltered slightly at the sight of the headless body falling to the ground before turning toward the direction where the bullet had shot forth from with dazzling holy light erupting from his eyes. “How dare you!”
The Heavenly Human Tribe man gripped the air, and an almighty power instantly descended from the sky before converging to form a ball of light in his palm, which he hurled toward the summit of a mountain several dozen kilometers away.
The Daoist Priest of the Six Paths was just about to search for more prey when he spotted a terrifyingly powerful ball of light hurtling toward him, and he immediately fled for his life.
Boom!
The ball of light struck the summit of the mountain, and destructive energy exploded forth, annihilating all things.
The entire mountain was razed to the ground in the blink of an eye.
“Phew… That was close! Thank God I noticed in time…” The Daoist Priest of the Six Paths wiped the cold sweat from his face. “This place is too dangerous. I have to find a new perch.”

He began to quickly travel through the forest.
In the extremely far distance, General Jesse soon lost sight of the Daoist Priest of the Six Paths. At this moment, cannon blasts from the golden pyramid erupted, preventing him from being able to give chase.
“When Great General Qing Luo arrives, all of you will die!”
A vexed expression appeared on Jesse’s face.
At an observation point about fifty kilometers away from the battlefield, a group of researchers was observing and analyzing this battle.
“We’re close! If things continue to progress like this, all of the Heavenly Human Tribe powerful beings will be annihilated in less than ten minutes!” an elderly man with white hair said in an excited voice.
“We are going to secure an unprecedented victory and create history in the process! Look at the European Union battle, then look at our battle. We will show the world what it means to be truly powerful!” Derek looked at the battle being broadcasted on the screen, and his heart was filled with pride.
However, Mo Jia’s attention was focused elsewhere. She had been scrutinizing the massive crack this entire time. Perhaps it was just her imagination, but she felt like the crack was expanding slightly with the emergence of each Heavenly Human Tribe powerful being.
She hesitated momentarily before speaking into the Starputer on her wrist, “Admiral Qin Xinghui, please unleash the Cyclone Particle Dissolution Area upon the crack.”
“Are you sure? Even the Dawn battleship can only unleash the Cyclone Particle Dissolution Area twice,” Qin Xinghui’s calm and collected voice sounded from the other side.
“There’s something not quite right with the crack. It’s expanding at an abnormal rate,” Mo Jia replied.
“Understood,” Qin Xinghua responded.
In the next moment, the sharp tip of the Dawn battleship suddenly began to glow with a black light.
Countless high energy particles surged through the air, creating a black vortex area. The Dawn battleship then hurled the vortex as if it were hurling a grenade, and the vortex instantly descended upon the crack before expanding to encompass an area with a radius of over a kilometer, instantly dissolving and annihilating all things within that area.
A few Soul Piercing Stage generals tried to destroy the vortex, all to no avail.

It was like an indestructible black cloud that was fastened to a certain place, destroying all things that came into contact with it.
After that, a few dozen more Heavenly Human Tribe powerful beings flew out, but all of them were completely dissolved in less than ten milliseconds, leaving no trace of them behind.
“The Cyclone Particle Dissolution Area is the most powerful attack the Dawn battleship is capable of, why would you use it in a place like this, Teacher?” Derek was perplexed.
According to his understanding, the Dawn battleship could steamroll their enemies; there was no need to unleash an attack that would expend such a massive amount of energy.
Mo Jia was just about to say something when an incredibly oppressive power descended upon them, making them tremble involuntarily and even making it difficult for them to breathe.
“Wha… what’s going on…” Derek’s teeth chattered as he turned toward a certain direction with an astonished expression. There was no need to look at the screen. Just his naked eye alone could see the extremely mighty being in the distance.
A white eastern dragon several kilometers in length forced its way out of the crack with a Heavenly Human Tribe man sitting on its back.
This was a man with pure, golden eyes, wearing a white robe with golden veined patterns, and he was able to slice the black, destructive vortex in half with a wave of his hand.
The white dragon roared before swiping its claws violently toward the black vortex, upon which the Cyclone Particle Dissolution Area was completely vanquished.
Boom boom boom…
A massive amount of cannon fire was instantly directed toward this Heavenly Human Tribe man.
However, all of the energy seemed to have struck an invisible barrier and exploded before reaching the Heavenly Human Tribe man, leaving him completely unscathed.
“How could this be…” Derek stared blankly at the scenes unfolding before his eyes.
Boom!
A destructive, golden pillar of light erupted from the Dawn battleship.
Extreme Light Vein Blast!
This was the same attack that had once broken the combined defenses of over twenty Soul Piercing Stage Heavenly Human Tribe generals in an instant!
The Heavenly Human Tribe man’s expression remained unchanged as he pressed a palm forward, upon which a white holy light enshrouded the area like a thin veil.
Rumble…
The destructive Extreme Light Vein Blast exploded, and everything that came into contact with the resulting golden light was reduced to smaller and smaller cubes before being completely annihilated.
Even from a distance, this attack struck fear into the onlookers’ hearts.
What struck even more fear into everyone’s heart was that such a powerful attack was unable to even break through the thin veil of white holy light.
“Great General Qing Luo.” All of the Heavenly Human Tribe powerful beings present bowed toward that man.
Qing Luo looked at the Dawn battleship in the distance with a cold, indifferent expression. “A civilization that has not even mastered space cannot fathom what true power is…”
He swept a finger through the air, upon which a white streak of light parted heaven and earth.
The entire world seemed to have fallen silent at that moment…
In the southern region of the Hua Nation.
This was a place with radiant and enchanting sunlight, tumbling waves, and a fine, sandy beach.
An Lin and Ne Zha stood ahead of the army behind them and carefully inspected the crack up ahead.
It was about a dozen meters in width and over a hundred meters in length, within which was a vast expanse of inky darkness.
An Lin wanted to reach his hand into it, only to be impeded by a special barrier. This was clearly a passageway exclusively for the Heavenly Human Tribe, and it rejected all other types of living beings.
“Can we break it through brute force? And if we do, will we achieve the opposite of the desired effect and further exacerbate the situation?” A hesitant expression appeared on An Lin’s face.
Right at this moment, a red light suddenly flashed from his Starputer.
An SOS signal?
An Lin knew what this signal meant. It was the highest level signal meant for requesting assistance in cases of a dire emergency. He immediately opened his Starputer, upon which a string of text and a set of coordinates appeared:
[The Kunlun Mountain front is close to collapsing, please deploy all available troops to the scene!]

A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

The Anthology
This is my collection of short stories. I ask what stories would my audience like to read and write whatever they post in the comments. I strive for more than two dimensional characters and I like to make my stories somewhat unique. The first six entries are my experiment to just write without stopping and see what comes out. They can serve as an introduction for the reader to me as a thinker and writer. Although it should be known that the majority of those entries were written in a foggy state of mind. Entry seven is where my short stories begin.

The bad news: The Apocalypse is here, and I, Alex Lin, am stuck in China. The good news: I got some kind of phone app that allows me to summon beings with cool abilities The worse news: Everything in the app, including the tutorial, is in Chinese, which I can't f*cking read. Other protagonists' greatest obstacles are either other people or themselves. My greatest obstacle? The language barrier. (crossposted on webnovel)
