Chapter 1821: Viewing Cherry Blossoms On A Moonlit Night
Beneath a moonlit night.
A thin veil seemed to have settled over the snowy Mount Fuji, making it appear holy and ethereal.
Cherry blossoms flourished around the mountain, creating an extremely vibrant and enchanting sight.
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan strolled hand-in-hand along the mountain path.
This place was yet to be developed and was also an isolation zone, so normal people could not access it.
The reason they had chosen to take a walk here was that the scenery was very beautiful here, and it was an ideal place to view cherry blossoms.
A cool and refreshing breeze blew past, and the cherry blossom trees rustled. Beautiful cherry blossoms detached themselves from the tree branches and fell like rain, creating an extremely enchanting sight under the light of the moon.
The flower petals fell upon their heads, shoulders, and faces, but they didn’t try to evade it. Instead, they were basking in the beauty and serenity of this moment.
Xu Xiaolan caught a cherry blossom in her hand, and a smile appeared on her face. “Cherry blossoms flower for a very short period of time. Its most beautiful and vibrant moment is when it detaches itself from the tree… Its most vibrant moment signifies its passing, kind of like fireworks…”
“My Xiaolan is different. She’s always just as stunning and beautiful as ever, for all of eternity.” An Lin smiled.
Xu Xiaolan knew that An Lin was trying to flatter her, but she still smiled with elation.
“Well spoken. You get a kiss as a reward.”
“Hmm…”
The two of them flirted for a while before continuing onward.
They continued down this path, and before they knew it, they had arrived at a place with beautiful lanterns and an intricately crafted building.
This was a three-story building with a soft, warm glow emanating from within.
There were also many white cherry blossom trees here that presented a different, holy beauty.
“This place isn’t bad.” Xu Xiaolan was a little impressed.
An Lin nodded. “This is indeed a very beautiful place. I wonder if they take guests.”

“Only one way to find out.” Xu Xiaolan wore a bright smile with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
The two of them had only just made it past the gate when two petite witches with killing intent surging from their bodies appeared in their way.
“Stop! This is private property! No trespassing!” one of the witches warned in a stern voice.
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan both faltered upon hearing this, and awkward expressions appeared on their faces.
“How about this? I’ll pay you if you allow us to go in and have a look around,” An Lin suggested.
The other witch chuckled coldly upon hearing this. “You can take your filthy cash and piss off, you ignorant swine! This is not a place mere mortals like you can encroach upon. You should be thanking me for not taking you two into custody.”
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan were both a little disappointed. They were both quite interested in this place, but they couldn’t trespass on private property, so they had no choice but to go back.
“So be it. I had a look at the time earlier, and Dongfang Xue’s concert is about to begin soon. Let’s go to the concert.” An Lin sighed.
“Hmm… But… I only want to view cherry blossoms now.” Xu Xiaolan wrapped her arms around An Lin’s as she wheedled.
An Lin caressed her silky, long hair with a doting smile. “Alright, let’s go view some cherry blossoms then.”
The two of them turned to leave.
At this moment, one of the witches suddenly changed her mind. “Stop!”
“What is it?” An Lin asked.
“This place is prohibited to tourists, yet you two have suddenly arrived here. You’re very suspicious and may not be mortals…” the witch analyzed.
“So?” An Lin asked.
The witch raised her chin with a cold expression. “So, I’m going to take you into custody and interrogate you before I let you leave.”
An Lin: “…”
Xu Xiaolan: “…”
“You think you can take me into custody?” An Lin couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
A disdainful smile appeared on the witch’s face. “So you two are cultivators as well, huh? Don’t you know what this place is? This is the territory of the Witch Tribe! You won’t be getting away tonight!”

The other witch had already pulled out a beautiful wooden carving of a woman, and she chanted under her breath, “Thousandfold Cherry Slaughter Formation, activate!”
Whoosh whoosh whoosh…
All of the surrounding cherry blossom trees began to rustle.
Countless white cherry blossoms detached themselves from their branches before dancing in the sky, encompassing a radius of several hundred kilometers and creating a powerful cherry blossom formation. All of the cherry blossom petals were extremely beautiful, but they were also imbued with extremely terrifying killing intent.
“This is a very good way to view cherry blossoms as well.” Xu Xiaolan nodded with appreciation.
The witch maintaining the formation made her way over toward An Lin and Xu Xiaolan with a cold expression. “Do not resist, or we will kill you!”
At this moment, a second-story window on the nearby building opened.
A beautiful woman in a red kimono looked out the window with a cold expression. “Chun, if they resist, make sure to not spill any blood when you kill them.”
She was the caretaker of this place. Seeing as Ying Luoqing had run off to Tokyo to watch some concert, she was now in charge here.
“As you wish,” the witch named Chun replied with a respectful bow.
There were many cultivators who were actually spies that pretended to stumble upon the Witch Tribe territory, so she did not mind killing two more.
“Surrender now or prepare to die.” The witch with the wooden carving made her way toward An Lin and Xu Xiaolan with killing intent shimmering in her eyes.
“Sigh, Xiaolan, I look like a good and kindhearted man, don’t I? Why am I being mistaken for a bad guy here?” An Lin turned toward Xu Xiaolan with a glum expression. “Have you seen enough? If you have, let’s go somewhere else.”
He wasn’t going to take any notice of this rude little witch. He just wanted to go somewhere else with Xiaolan to view cherry blossoms.
Xu Xiaolan shook her head as her eyes lit up. “An Lin, I instinctively unleashed my divine sense when this formation was activated and guess what I discovered?”
“What is it?” An Lin asked.
Xu Xiaolan turned toward the intricately crafted building. “I can sense a familiar aura within one of the rooms here. It’s your aura…”
An Lin shuddered upon hearing this. “Impossible! I’ve never been here!”
“Should we have a look?” Xu Xiaolan was a little intrigued.
“Of course!” An Lin was desperate to try and prove himself, so he immediately agreed.
“What nonsense are you two spouting? Do you think I wouldn’t dare to kill you?” The witch was greatly enraged by the fact that An Lin and Xu Xiaolan were still holding a casual conversation, and she swept a hand through the air, upon which cherry blossoms hurtled toward An Lin and Xu Xiaolan like blades!
“That’s not the way to use spell formations, little girl,” a voice abruptly sounded beside her.
The witch discovered that the man was suddenly standing right in front of her.
“You!” Her expression shifted drastically. Before she could even react, the wooden carving in her hand had ended up in the man’s hand.
“Spell formations should be used like this…” An Lin held the wooden carving and injected his vital energy into it, upon which the massive spell formation suddenly transformed.
Boundless energy fluctuations coursed through an infinitely vast distance.
Boom!
A burst of violent tremors erupted.
All of the cherry blossom trees on Mount Fuji lit up at the same time as flower petals fell like rain from the sky.
A boundless light suddenly erupted from the spell formation around An Lin before materializing to form a semi-transparent woman in a witch costume.
Primordial power emanated from her body. This was the power of her bloodline, and all of the witches present were forced to their knees as they trembled uncontrollably.
Thump…
The sound of a cup falling to the ground erupted from the second story.
The caretaker in the red kimono stared at the scenes unfolding before her eyes with astonishment. “This is… the Witch Matriarch?!”
