Chapter 1824: Four Noteworthy Things

An Lin rode on Da Bai and Xu Xiaolan rode on Little Huang as they returned to the Four Nine Immortal Sect together.

An Lin had also asked whether his father wanted to come to the Four Nine Immortal Sect, but An Mingchuan stated that he still had his Peace Immortal Sect to attend to, and he wanted to stay with the members of his sect until the Heavenly Human Tribe disaster was averted.

An Lin was very touched and gave a few more immortal pills to An Mingchuan. He also used the power of his consciousness as well as his blood essence to materialize a few spiritual bombs for An Mingchuan to use during emergencies. These bombs should have no problem dealing with Heaven Pioneer Stage Great Generals.

Tian Lingling and the others also wanted to stay on Earth.

They all said that they wanted to visit the Tai Chu Continent only after this crisis on Earth was averted.

Dongfang Xue announced that when the time came, she was going to travel to the Tai Chu Continent and hold a concert tour throughout the entire Tai Chu Continent. An Lin chuckled upon hearing this and told her that it would probably take her a few centuries to tour the entire Tai Chu Continent.

An Lin didn’t force them to come with him. He vowed that he would destroy the Heavenly Human Tribe and make Earth a safe place once again before departing.

A group of disciples stood up.

This was really getting a little bothersome.

“I’m not making them do anything. They wanted to welcome you.” Bai Ling stood at the forefront of the group of disciples with a smile on her face.

She was also holding a ball in her hand, which appeared to be like a disco ball. A boundless dazzling light refracted from the ball, illuminating the sky and making it seem like an extremely joyful occasion.

An Lin couldn’t do anything about this strange habit Bai Ling had, so he could only let her be.

“By the way, has anything noteworthy happened on the Tai Chu Continent recently?” An Lin asked.

Apparently, she was only using less than ten percent of her full brain capacity.

This was an indication of just how powerful Bai Ling’s brain was.

“There were a few noteworthy events,” Bai Ling replied with a solemn expression.

“Oh? What are they?” An Lin asked.

“Massive pillars of light have extended into the sky from the dead land of the Purple Star Civilization, reaching into infinity and beyond. On that day, iridescent light appeared over the entire continent and an extremely potent power of healing, as well as indescribable energy of matter, flowed into the sky over the Purple Star dead land.

“After analyzing all types of statistics, I can determine that Nuwa has officially commenced her mending of the heavens. She has announced to the entire world her stance in this war,” Bai Ling analyzed.

An Lin nodded. He had heard about this from Nuwa when they last met not too long ago.

At that time, he had asked Nuwa about the chances of her successfully mending the heavens.

The reply Nuwa gave him was: “There is infinite hope for the future. They will either be reborn from this hope or die within this hope.”

What a f*cking pointless response!

However, he still nodded with a thoughtful expression as if he found her answer to be worthwhile.

“By the way, Bai Ling, can you calculate the probability of Nuwa succeeding in her mending of the heavens?” An Lin asked.

A thoughtful expression appeared on Bai Ling’s face before she heaved a forlorn sigh. “To be honest, Nuwa is only repairing the Heavenly Dao on a physical level, which means that she’s mending the Heavenly Dao fragments. Doing so can make the Heavenly Dao more complete, but the probability of completely mending the Heavenly Dao would be zero.”

An Lin and Xu Xiaolan’s expressions became quite grave upon hearing this.

“Back when the Purple Star Civilization stabbed a hole into the Heavenly Dao, they also tried to repair it. However, what they required was not only the Heavenly Dao fragments. Most importantly, they required something that would represent the power of the Heavenly Dao.

“That power could be the force of interaction between particles, or the kinetic energy within objects, or spatial power, or the power of time… All intangible powers and forces in this world can be described as the power of dao. It encompasses all things and is the origin of all things…”

A forlorn expression appeared on Bai Ling’s face. “If Nuwa can’t find the missing power of dao and is unable to repair that missing power of dao by fusing it back together with the Heavenly Dao, then the mending of the heavens is just a laughable dream.”

Xu Xiaolan asked, “Then, has Nuwa found the missing power of dao yet?”

Bai Ling shook her head. “It doesn’t look like it”

“The heavens can’t be mended in a day or two. Perhaps she feels like there isn’t enough time, so she’s going to commence the mending of the heavens on a physical level first,” Bai Ling speculated.

“During this process, aren’t the Heavenly Human Tribe and the Heavenly Gods going to attack her?” An Lin was a little concerned about Nuwa’s safety.

“Don’t worry about that.” Bai Ling smiled and said, “Nuwa’s mending of the heavens is beneficial to the Heavenly Dao, so she will be protected by the subconsciousness of the Heavenly Dao. If the Heavenly Gods attack Nuwa, then it will be seen as threatening the Heavenly Dao, upon which the Heavenly Dao would immediately kill them through the backlash.”

This was like a man who had been severely wounded and a doctor had finally appeared to treat him, only for a bunch of annoying delinquent kids to try and kill that doctor. The man would definitely flare up with rage and beat the crap out of those kids.

Bai Ling continued, “The second noteworthy thing is that after Nuwa commenced her mending of the heavens, the Heavenly Dao was further repaired, and the restrictions placed upon the Heavenly Human Tribe and the Heavenly Gods by the Heavenly Dao have increased. Hence, their combat prowess has been negatively affected, and we have a greater chance of victory now!

“As for the third noteworthy thing, the Kingdom of the Nine States, the Buddhist Kingdom, the Holy Paradise, the North Cang Mountain Realm, the West Sea Alliance, the Demonic Realm, and all other Kingdom of the Nine States United Army forces have launched a counterattack against the Heavenly Human Tribe and secured a resounding victory. Over fifty million Heavenly Humans perished as a result of that battle, and the entire Heavenly Human Tribe United Army on the northern front has been exterminated… Only after the Heavenly Gods intervened was this momentum arrested.”
