“There are so many beings who are not humans. It doesn’t matter if Big Boss An Lin is a chicken, or dog, or pig, I don’t mind either way.” Lan Xiaoni’s expression was quite firm as she spoke.

An Lin’s lips twitched. “Can’t you use a better analogy?”

Lan Xiaoni leaned her head against An Lin’s arm. “No matter who you are, you’ll always be my Big Boss.”

An Lin was quite touched to hear this.

Lan Xiaoni turned toward An Lin with concern in her eyes.

“It’s fine.” An Lin pinched Lan Xiaoni’s delicate cheek and offered a comforting smile, “It’s just that my power would decrease slightly every time I use the power of darkness. It’s no big deal.”

“Really?” Lan Xiaoni was quite concerned. Her woman’s intuition told her that things were not that simple.

“Yes.” An Lin looked directly into Lan Xiaoni’s eyes and asked, “Is the underling doubting her Big Boss’ words?”

“Alright, I believe you.” Lan Xiaoni pouted.

In reality, she would listen to whatever An Lin told her.

Even if he asked her to do something extremely out of line, she would still do it.

This was her duty as his underling.

“Thank you for answering my questions, Brother Sea.” An Lin extended a polite salute.
