"Why didn't you go see Zuo Zhe? He's innocent." Cheng Sheng asked when they appeared on the Dongfang City and killed the demonic cultivators that jumped on them to kill them.

It must be Ming Ye who leaked there's an array on the Dongfang Sect and Cheng Sheng, with his group, is most likely to appear there to attempt save Wu Yuan and Luo Shi. Thus, these demonic cultivators must have been staring at the Dongfang City, waiting for Cheng Sheng and his group to appear.

Yu Sheng didn't answer and just threw a knife over and hit a demonic cultivator that was hiding.

Cheng Sheng sighed and patted his back before they looked around. "Shifu said this is the third day my brother…" he paused and looked at Yu Sheng who coughed.

They all looked at each other before Fei Yin spoke, unrelated to the matter. "After here, it'll be the Central Plains." He said. They decided to drop this matter for now.

Cheng Sheng nodded as they continued to fly out of the Dongfang City. "If only I know where they are… I could draw an array and appear before them." He said. "That way, we can save time and energy." He added as he sighed in pity.

"How did Chen-shixiong know?" Feng Mo asked as they checked each one of the houses, hoping against hope there's still something, or someone, they could save.

"AAAH!" a scream was heard, as if the person behind the bush was startled. The bush shook because the person hiding behind it moved. Then, they saw the top of the head of the person. His hair was messy.

Feng Mo immediately fished out the person behind the bush with a sleight of hand, before eh dropped them on the grasses.

"AAAAAH! AAARRRHH!!!" the person screamed. He is very dirty from head to feet, and his hair is very messy like a mad person. His face was also covered in grime, so they can't clearly see his facial features.

Fortunately, Feng Mo isn't a germaphobe. If it was Cheng Sheng, that mysophobe, was here and happened to fish the person, his face would've already turned green in disgust.

They were all taken aback. "Run after him!" Feng Mo said and immediately rode on his sword.

The others also reacted and ran after the beggar who, surprisingly, is very fast in running.

"This bastard - !" Feng Mo cursed as he sped up, taking the lead.

It's not as if he is seeking death. He still has Wu Bai, as well as his parents waiting for him to come back. His mother has also had given birth to a baby boy, his little brother.
