The bigger child placed the sickly child near the fire to warm him up. Slowly, Cheng sheng watched the sickly child's face regained color and his brows moved, his expression now looked relaxed. So, the sickly child has just fainted. However, the other child – 

Cheng Sheng turned and watched the bigger child silently stared at the sickly child before he moved and took a bowl and a spoon, before he opened the pot and took some food to feed the sickly child. This child – he thought as he watched the bigger child fed the sickly child. – should have died. 

Cheng Sheng trusts his intuition. The bigger child should have died back there. But, right now, the bigger child looked more stronger than the sickly child. How did the bigger child suddenly become alive? His eyes narrowed as he watched the children's interaction. No, scratch that. Only the bigger child is busying around. However, before Cheng Sheng could react, he saw Ming Ye washed the bowl and the spoon before placing it where they were before. Then, he brought Luo Shi, whose condition turned better, outside the thatched house. 

Cheng Sheng immediately followed the two and watched them, no, only Ming Ye, braved the cold snow until they found an abandoned house. They went inside and Ming Ye placed Luo Shi on the wooden bed before he looked around to make a fire. 

Cheng Sheng's heart immediately thudded in fear. Is Ming Ye going to burn Luo Shi along with the house? However, he immediately shook the thought off his head. He isn't stupid. Just because Ming Ye became a demonic cultivator, he wouldn't be prejudiced with the Ming Ye in Luo Shi's memories.

"You're pitiful." Ming Ye said after he brought Luo Shi beside the fire when he heard Luo Shi coughed. "Fine. I will save you, help you, so that this time, you will owe me your life." He told the sleeping Luo Shi. 

Cheng Sheng's heart skipped a beat before he felt it ached after he heard Ming Ye's words. His eyes reddened and his nose soured before his tears fell. He can't help but feel sad. In the future, Luo Shi really has repaid Ming Ye with his life. So, this is the truth. This is Luo Shi's answer. 

He closed his eyes as he sat on the bed and silently watched the two children snuggling by the fire. Suddenly, the scene changed and they grew up. They lived as thieves before they entered the Youxiwang Sect to escape the people pursuing them to arrest them. The person in charge of the recruitment noticed Ming Ye's and Luo Shi's aptitudes and he paid for the foods the two youths stole before he took them with him back to the Youxiwang Sect. 

Ming Ye and Luo Shi lived as fellow disciples. Their relationship and days are peaceful, but only on the surface. Every night, Luo Shi would wake up and stood beside Ming Ye's bed with his hand raised. A knife on his hand.

However, after Luo Shi failed to take Ming Ye's life and go back to sleep, Ming Ye's eyes would open and his head turns to stare at Luo Shi's frail back.
