"Cheng Sheng." Wu Yuan called as he stood by the door while he looked at Cheng Sheng and Fei Yin holding each other's hand. Bitterness flashed in his eyes when he remembered Sun Yi. He immediately concealed his emotions. "Chen Han qi deviated." He told Cheng Sheng.

Cheng Sheng fell silent as he stared at the floor. "Bringing him with us… it is more dangerous than him staying here with Ming Ye." He said and looked at Luo Shi lying on the bed. "Ming Ye was softened by Luo Shi. If Ming Ye didn't kill you when he captured you, then how can he kill Chen Han, who is his own disciple?" he asked as he looked at Wu Yuan.

Wu Yuan didn't answer.

"The demonic cultivators still need Ming Ye. They won't kill him." Cheng Sheng said. "Even if Ming Ye would protect Chen Han, Chen Han wouldn't be a bother to the demonic cultivators. Instead, since they know Chen Han would kill Ming Ye, but Chen Han definitely can't kill Ming Ye because he's weaker than Ming Ye, the demonic cultivators would just treat them as an entertainment." He explained.

"That's harsh." Fei Yin can't help but comment.

"A disciple killing his shifu. This is Ming Ye's karma." Cheng Sheng said.

Wu Yuan felt agitated, but he immediately suppressed his feelings. "Is that so… then what are we waiting for?" he asked.

Cheng Sheng and Fei Yin nodded. "Then, let's go." Fei Yin said.

Cheng Sheng took out the Shapeshifting Blanket and the Shapeshifting Blanket immediately wrapped them three, before it flew out of the window and rose to the sky, blending with the white clouds floating.

Just as they left, Chen Han barged in to Ming Ye's room. Chen Han's eyes are blood-red. When Ming Ye saw him, his heart sank.

Meanwhile, on top of the floating giant pagoda stood Cheng Shu and the beggar man. They watched as the Shapeshifting Blanket disappeared within the passing, floating clouds. Cheng Shu's lips curled to an evil grin. "It's almost time." He said before their figures disappeared.

Xinfaxian Sect, Xinfaxian, East.

Yu Sheng suddenly felt his heart skipped a beat. It's not because of love, Zuo Zhe. It's because he suddenly felt a foreboding feeling.

He opened his eyes and his gaze met Zuo Zhe's gaze who has been watching him since time unknown. "Zhe…" he called.

Zuo Zhe's lips are pale due to nervousness. "Yu Sheng… elder Fan is calling for us." He told him.

"… is it because of Cheng Sheng?" Yu Sheng asked, though the answer is obvious.

As expected, Zuo Zhe nodded. "You… felt it, too, right?" he asked.

Yu Sheng nodded as he sat up from the bed. "En." He answered.

"Everyone felt it. Elder Fan. Sect leader Xie. Even the Huakai Sect…" Zuo Zhe sighed. "What do you think is happening to Cheng Sheng right now?" he asked. Cheng Sheng affects everybody.

Yu Sheng stared at Zuo Zhe. "I don't know." He honestly answered. In fact, he could make a telepathic connection with Cheng Sheng since both of them are gods. However, just now, his connection with Cheng Sheng was forcefully cut off, making him wake up.

Then, if it wasn't Fei Yin, who is it? He got no time to think since Li Tian, who was jittery, called them from outside. He is Li Tian's fiancé, as well as Cheng Sheng's fellow disciple, and so both Chen Han and Cheng Sheng are both important to him. He is doubly worried right now.

"Let's go." Yu Sheng told Zuo Zhe as he pulled the other out of his daze.

However, they didn't expect to see Zheng Fu Gong and Jing Rui, as well as a man who looked very similar to Fei Yin.

Fei Lin smiled when he appeared from the array. He looked at Yu Sheng and Zuo Zhe, these unfamiliar faces. "Greetings. I am Fei Lin, Fei Yin's elder brother." He explained.

Zuo Zhe naturally knew Fei Lin, as he is one of the characters he made. He just realized, he hasn't met Fei Lin and Xi Ling yet. Meanwhile, Yu Sheng could already guess Fei Yin's identity.

Fei Lin nodded to them before he turned to Xie Lan and the others. "We have found Chen Fu and Chen Mie." He immediately told them.

Everyone was stunned. The only news they've got is that the Chen Clan was slaughtered, but it wasn't known whether Chen Fu and Chen Mie also died. But now… they felt hope was rekindled in their heart.

"How are they?" Xie Lan asked.

"Currently, they are resting." Fei Lin answered. "Xi Ming and Xi Xing found them when they ran away… ehem, patrolling the borders of the North." He said.

Everyone. "…" they have heard before of Xi Ming's plan to escape from their sect. So, he wasn't joking?

"Fortunately, they have just come out of their closed-door cultivation and their cultivation increased, so they managed to escape from their pursuers." Fei Lin explained.

Everyone sighed in relief.

"Before they returned to rest, they have told me something." Fei Lin continued. "It is about Ming Ye." He said.

Everyone immediately became alert.

Fei Lin shook his head, declining to comment. "When they asked Ming Ye and Luo Shi where they came from, they answered they were from the South." He said before he paused. "Beyond the South." He added.

Everyone fell silent. "What does this mean?" Lei Ling silently asked.

Li Tian's expression became heavy. "It meant, the South was done for. That's where the demonic cultivators, Ming Ye's troops, came from." He answered.

The atmosphere became heavier because of his words. That's why they haven't received any news, nor refugees, from the South.

"We're going to the South!" Jing Rui said as he pulled Jing Cheng, Jing Bai, Jing Kang and Zheng Yi. "Elder Zheng. I leave the Zhongyang to you." He told him. They are almost done stabilizing the Zhongyang.

"En." Zheng Fu Gong nodded.

"Let's go fetch Jing Hei, as well as Qian Lin!" Jing Rui told Jing Cheng, Jing Bai and Jing Kang answered.

"Yes!" Jing Cheng, Jing Bai and Jing Kang nodded.

"Wait." Fei Lin said.

"What?" Jing Rui turned.

"Everyone must have already heard about the Wuran Kingdom, right?" Fei Lin asked.

Hearing his words, the tense atmosphere returned.

"'Wuran Kingdom'?" Tang Zhe asked.

The Xinfaxian Sect disciples who have gone to the Intersect Competition and have heard their founder, as well as Chen Jing and Fei Huang talking before, spoke. "It is a kingdom from the ancient times." You Rou answered, her voice soft.

Xie Lan blinked and he turned to his disciples. He remembered that they really have heard them speaking, since he, Chen Jing and Fei Huang didn't hide it and are actually openly discussing it. He didn't expect for them to remember it. "Yes." He spoke. "I, the Chen patriarch and former sect leader Fei Huang were talking about it." He said and glanced at Fei Lin.

Fei Lin blinked before he shook his head, indicating Fei Huang is still missing after Fei Huang was abducted by Mu Jun.

"So, why are the Chen patriarch and former sect leader Wu Fan are looking for this lost kingdom?" Tang Teng asked.

"There's no record about this kingdom, except only for its name." Xie Lan said. "During the Intersect Competition, the three of us suspect that the one behind the attacks might be someone from this kingdom." He explained.

"What?!" Tang Teng exclaimed as he looked at Xie Lan in disbelief.

"The attacks during the Intersect Competition, Mu Jun told us about the demonic cultivators." Xie Lan said. "It was then that I remembered about the Wuran Kingdom." He said and looked at Fan Wen.

"It was during I and Lan's travel as we looked for a land to settle on. We met an old person. They can't stop talking about a place, and Wen is kind by nature, he wanted to listen to them so I was forced to hear what they said." he said.

"And that, that place is Wuran."

Beyond the green mountains and abundant springs of the south, lies the endless sea desert of Wuran.
