Everyone watched as the light from the south formed a big array in the sky. As soon as the array was formed, the light became even brighter.

"Ugh!" they grunted as they covered their eyes when the light in the sky covered the whole world.

"CHENG SHENG!!!"

"XIAO SHENG!!!"

"CHENG-SHIDI/CHENG-SHIXIONG!!!" they all screamed and stared, stunned, at the big array turning in the sky.

"Lan." Fan Wen called, his eyes turning red as he looked at Xie Lan. His eyes are filled with worry and panic as he anxiously looked at the array in the south.

"We'll go!" Xie Lan said as he turned to Lei Qing, Lei Ling and You Rou. "Take all of the talismans and magic pills… everything, that you could! We're going south!" he said.

"YES!" Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling answered as they immediately left.

Xie Lan isn't worried about the Xinfaxian. He knows Cheng Sheng's arrays won't easily fall, thus he confidently leaves his disciples to look after the sect and the Xinfaxian in place of them.

"Sect leader Xie!" Zheng Fu Gong and Fei Lin called.

Xie Lan turned to them. "If you want to go, we won't stop you." He said. "You are actually more welcomed to join us." He told them before he turned to leave with Fan Wen.

However, before he could take a step, an array behind them lit up. Everyone looked at each other. They know that everyone should already be here. Jing Rui and his nephews along with Zheng Yi have gone south to help Qian Lin. Then, who is it that arrived?

They turned and watched with great apprehension as the light of the teleportation array died down. "Shu Mu?!" they exclaimed when they saw Shu Mu appeared. "Shu Mu!" they cried when they saw him suddenly collapsed. It was then that they noticed his body is filled with wounds.

Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling ran back and fed Shu Mu with magic pills.

Shu Mu coughed and opened his eyes. "I – " he spoke, his voice hoarse and weak.

"Shu Mu!" Tang Zhe called as soon as the Huakai Sect arrived. They settled in one of the inns in the Xinfaxian after their sect was destroyed by the demonic cultivators.

"Tang… Zhe?" Shu Mu muttered. "Xiao Le…" he called when he saw Xiao Le arrived with the Huli Sect.

Xiao Le gasped in shock. "Mu-ge…!" he exclaimed.

"Settle him inside!" Xie Lan ordered after he saw the serious injuries of Shu Mu.

"Wait – " Shu Mu spoke. They all looked at him. "I… have to tell you…" he gasped.

"What is it?" Fan Wen asked.

"I… and my fellow disciples… are on my way to Xinfaxian to seek refuge, but…" Shu Mu breathed. "We ran into the demonic cultivators…" he said. "Their number is large, and we sensed they are doing a big operation… we hid to listen on. We heard… they are all going to the Southmost Region…!" he coughed.

Their eyes widened. "Are they going to…?" they all looked at each other.

Shu Mu nodded. "They heard orders from Ming Ye… no, Wu Ran." He said. "He's mobilizing all his forces to the Southmost Region… to kill Cheng Sheng!" he told them.

They sharply inhaled. "Mu-ge!" Xiao Le called and ran to Shu Mu to treat his open wounds when Shu Mu fainted from blood loss after he finally spoke his message.

"Bring him inside!" Lei Qing told Xiao Le.

"Yes!" Xiao Le nodded.

"We'll help!" Tang Zhe and the Huakai Sect disciples said and help Xiao Le carry Shu Mu to the Xinfaxian Sect's infirmary.

Xie Lan took a deep breath and turned to the newcomers Tang Teng and Li Nanzhi. "Stay here." He told them.

"What?!" Tang Teng and Li Nanzhi were shocked.

"You're both injured." Xie Lan said. "I'll entrust my sect and the Xinfaxian to both of you." He said and patted their shoulder before he walked to the teleportation arrays with Fan Wen, Lei Qing, Lei Ling and You Rou.

Fei Lin who has been silent the whole time turned and spoke to Ho Yue. "Elder Ho. I need you to stay and help the new sect leader of the sect." he told him.

Ho Yue's expression is heavy.

Fei Lin smiled. "I also want you to train our disciples." He said and looked at Xi Ming and Xi Ning.

Xi Ming was shocked. "Elder Fei – "

"Xi Ming." Xi Ling called.

Xi Ming turned to him. "Uncle…" his eyes turned red.

Xi Ling softly smiled and patted his promising nephew's head before he pushed him and Xi Ning to Gong Xian who immediately grabbed their shoulder to keep them from moving.

"Gong Xian!" Xi Ming yelled when he felt he couldn't move. He struggled, but to no avail.

Fei Lin and Xi Ling held each other's hands and turned to go to the teleportation array where Fan Wen and Xie Lan are. The array started to glow.

"UNCLE!!!" Xi Ming screamed and finally escaped Gong Xian's grasp. However, his arm was grabbed. He turned and saw Xi Xing holding his arm tight. "Ah Xing?!" he muttered. Then, he turned, only for his eyes to widen when he saw the light covered everyone in the teleportation array. "NO - !" he cried.

Zheng Fu Gong watched Xie Lan, Fan Wen and the others with a heavy expression before he tiredly closed his eyes and raised his hands to send them off. "Good luck." He told them before he lowered his hand.

"UNCLE!!!" Xi Ming screamed. However, Xi Ling and the others were now gone. He pulled his arm from Xi Xing's grasp and ran towards the teleportation array. However, it didn't activate.

Dongfang Town.

Xie Lan, Fan Wen, Fei Lin, Xi Ling, Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling opened their eyes and saw they were surrounded by the demonic cultivators that are lying in wait to ambush them.

"They're here! They finally left their nest!" a demonic cultivator shouted. "Kill them!" he shouted.

"YEAAAAAAH!!!" the demonic cultivators answered.

Xie Lan frowned and picked his ear. "Speak softly. We're not deaf, so we can hear you." He said before he clenched his fist and swung it to the demonic cultivator that leapt above him.

"Ugh!" the demonic cultivator grunted when he was hit by Xie Lan's iron fist and fell to the ground.

"Kill them! Kill all of them! Don't let one of them escape and disrupt our king's plan!" their leader yelled and blocked their escape path.

Xie Lan turned to him. "Do we need to escape?" he asked before the corner of his lips curled up. "We just need to kill you." He said before he turned to Fan Wen who is cracking his fists. Fei Lin smiled brightly while Xi Ling's face is frosty.

Meanwhile, Lei Qing drew out her sword while You Rou took out her guqin. Lei Ling swung his sleeves and countless talismans floated around him.

The eyes of the leader of the demonic cultivators turned bloodshot. "KILL THEM!!!" he shouted and rushed towards Xie Lan.

Xie Lan scoffed. "Are you a parrot? Why do you keep repeating the same orders?" he said before he raised his fist while Fan Wen, Fei Lin, Xi Ling, Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling advanced to kill the demonic cultivators.

Suddenly, in the middle of the fight, Xie Lan remembered something. "Fan, I think we seem to have forgotten something." He said.

Fan Wen heard Xie Lan's question and gritted his teeth. "You idiot!" he said and kicked a demonic cultivator in irritation. He turned to Xie Lan. "You forgot xiao Tian and xiao Mo!" he told him before he swung his sword and beheaded the demonic cultivator that jumped at him. "Don't interrupt me while I'm talking!" he told the demonic cultivator's head.

Xie Lan. "…" Fan, it's 'we' who forgot Li Tian and Feng Mo. He thought and sighed. He decided to just shut up or he'll be the one Fan Wen would behead next.

Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling who expected their founder and shifu have sent Li Tian and Feng Mo on a mission in advance. "…" we expected nothing?!

Fei Lin laughed while Xi Ling smiled. They continued killing the demonic cultivators.

Sand Sea Mountain, Southmost Region.

"SHENG!" Fei Yin cried and immediately caught Cheng Sheng who collapsed. "Sheng. Sheng!" he called as he tapped Cheng Sheng's cheeks. Cheng Sheng's face is pale.

Cheng Sheng's eyelids trembled and he slowly opened his eyes. "Fei Yin…" he muttered and smiled. "I'm fine. I just exhausted my qi." He said and coughed.

Fei Yin saw Cheng Sheng didn't cough blood and he sighed in relief. He immediately fed Cheng Sheng some magic pills before he helped him up.

It was then that Wu Yuan returned. "You… set up a barrier around the mountain…" he said.

Cheng Sheng nodded. "Yes. A Locking Barrier. This way, the demonic qi can't go out." He tiredly sighed. "Also – " he looked at Fei Yin, then Wu Yuan. " – I used this as a signal to founder and shifu, and everyone. But, this will also be signaling Ming Ye… Wu Ran, our location." He took a deep breath and wryly smiled.
