Dongfang Town, East.

"FOUNDER! SHIFU!!!" Li Tian and Feng Mo called as they descended on the ground with their sword. They ran towards Xie Lan and Fan Wen, stepping on the demonic cultivators' corpses, deliberately or not, while on the way.

Xie Lan and Fan Wen turned. "Good. You've arrived." He said. "How is it?" he asked.

Li Tian made an 'OK' sign, which he learned from Cheng Sheng before. "Very easy." He smiled.

Feng Mo's face was covered in black lines. "… Li-shixiong, you've gone astray." He said, which Li Tian just laughed.

Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling looked at each other before they looked at Xie Lan and Fan Wen. Did they really send them two on a mission? They got their answer when they saw an object in Li Tian's hand.

Fei Lin and Xi Ling also saw the object and Fei Lin meaningfully smiled. "I remember, we don't have any flying device aside from our swords to use to travel to the Southmost Region." He said. "And it's be very taxing for all of us, so, sect leader Xie, you…" he said and his gaze landed on a small miniature ship.

Xie Lan chuckled.

Xinfaxian Sect.

Tang Teng sighed and shook his head.

"Sect leader Tang? What's wrong?" Li Nanzhi asked when he saw Tang Teng is looking at his empty hand.

"When we ran into Cheng Sheng before, he saved us using the costly teleportation array to send us to Xinfaxian. In exchange, I gave him our sect's treasure." Tang Teng said. "However, he refused to take the Millennium Ship." He sighed and looked at the teleportation array. "I think this is fate. The Millennium Ship is meant for Xie Lan and the others to use to save Cheng Sheng, repaying him of our gratitude." He said and closed his hand.

He had set up an array in his room, but didn't lock it. Thus, when Li Tian and Feng Mo entered his room, he knew they are going to steal the Millennium Ship. They don't need to steal it, since he will willingly give it to them to repay Cheng Sheng. But, Xie Lan really likes these tricks.

Suddenly, they heard a loud cry. "What's wrong?" they asked when they saw the Xinfaxian Sect disciples rushed towards them.

"Answering sect leader Tang and sect leader Li, disciple Shu Mu woke up shortly to pass a message, then fell asleep again." The Xinfaxian Sect disciple said.

"What is it?" Tang Teng asked.

"That sect leader Shu collaborated with the demonic cultivators under the poison of the Nuhou Pills and attacked the Qianxu Sect. Sect leader Qian's wife is dead, and sect leader Qian, to save his two sons Qian Tian and Qian Lin, he self-destructed and took sect leader Shu down with him!" the Xinfaxian Sect disciple answered.

Dongfang Town.

"Depart?" Fei Lin asked after they all boarded the ship.

Xie Lan didn't immediately answer and just turned his head. Fei Lin noticed something and he also turned his head. From the distance, they saw a talisman flying towards them.

Xie Lan caught it between his two fingers and poured a sliver of qi in it. They heard Tang Zhe's somber voice come from it.

"Sect leader Xie. Sect leader Qian and sect leader Shu are dead. Qian Lin and Qian Tian are the only ones left in their sect. Shu Mu said they plan to massacre all the demonic cultivators in the South, but it will be an impossible task since both the brothers are exhausted and outnumbered. With the Millennium Ship, you will reach the South Region faster than sect leader Jing's group. Please aid Qian Lin and Qian Tian at once when you've reached them." Tang Zhe's voice from the talisman said before the talisman burned and turned to ashes.

Xie Lan, Fan Wen, Fei Lin and Qi Ling, their faces immediately turned heavy. Li Tian, Feng Mo, Lei Qing, You Rou and Lei Ling looked at each other. Their gazes are filled with worry.

"Depart!" Xie Lan ordered.

"Yes!" they answered.

Lei Ling took out the Moving Talismans and thrown them to the bottom of the ship, the sails and the ropes of the ship. Then, he pasted the Balancing Talismans on the hull of the ship for a steady ride. The talismans glowed one by one and the ship slowly rose.

Suddenly, they froze when they remembered something. They looked at each other silently, then their gaze landed on the steering wheel. Who knows how to sail the ship?

Sand Sea Mountain, Southmost Region.

Cheng Sheng, Fei Yin and Wu Yuan looked at the boulders of rocks they passed by be covered in magic seals that prevents the demonic qi from leaking out. They are on their way to the heart of the Sand Sea Mountain where the Ni Lai Gate is located, according to the beggar they have met when they arrived in the Stop By Town, or also known as a town serving as a rest stop for the travelers in the desert.

"Sheng. If we'd put a lid in these boulders, what if they'd explode after they became too full of demonic qi?" Fei Yin asked.

"They won't." Cheng Sheng answered.

"Hm?"

"These magic seals I placed will convert the demonic qi to a positive qi." Cheng Sheng said.

Fei Yin and Wu Yuan stopped and stared at him.

"It's as you think." Cheng Sheng also stopped and turned to them. "It's the Shapeshifting Blanket. It has been with me for a very long time. You should know I like to tinker rare objects." He said. "I've found out that there's a special seal imprinted on the Shapeshifting Blanket making it able to eat the demonic qi and negative qi, and also can spit it out. It also can convert the demonic qi to positive qi, which is called Purification." He explained and pulled the corner of the Shapeshifting Blanket covering his body. "It's also because of this qi that the Shapeshifting Blanket can be able to shapeshift. I can also cut it how many times I want."

Fei Yin and Wu Yuan looked at the Shapeshifting Blanket that trembled in fear, their eyes are full of sympathy for it to land on the hands of a devious person. But, this showed how much of a genius Cheng Sheng truly is.

"You also don't need to worry if Wu Ran would arrive." Cheng Sheng said. "Since the Shapeshifting Blanket is a rare treasure, and so the magic seal imprinted on it, he can't break the seals in the boulders of rocks, and so is my Locking Barrier." He smirked.

Fei Yin and Wu Yuan who saw Cheng Sheng's proud expression. "…" why is his smile always so ingratiating, as if he's asking to be punched?

Suddenly, Cheng Sheng's smile disappeared. "But, even if we're safe inside the Locking Barrier, but we wouldn't be once we've entered the Ni Lai Gate, entering the Heilong." He said. "Also – " his expression turned serious. "Our people wouldn't be safe if they'd run into Wu Ran on their way here. They can enter the Locking Barrier to be safe, but naturally, they wouldn't do that since we have to defeat Wu Ran, at all costs, to restore the peace." He told them.

Fei Yin and Wu Yuan's faces also fell. Because Wu Ran attacked when they were caught off-guard after he disguised as Ming Ye, everyone has suffered great losses, especially the Youxiwang Sect and the Chen Clan whom Wu Ran annihilated. Luo Shi also died. Chen Jing and Wu Fan who left, they're supposed to be safe.

Now, though, that they found out that Chen Jing and Wu Fan entered the Ni Lai Gate, going to Heilong, their safety, as well as their life or death, is unsure. The Central Region and the North Region are also still under attack, and are outnumbers. Only the East Region, the Xinfaxian, is fine because of Cheng Sheng's barrier protecting it, making the demonic cultivators unable to enter and can only attack from outside, which seems to be useless since Cheng Sheng's barrier is very strong and remained unmoving, unaffected.

Now, whoever went to face against Wu Ran would definitely be outnumbered and overwhelmed, and only death awaits them. That is why they didn't make any big movements before, and only now they did when Cheng Sheng finally sent them his signal by making a big barrier that could be seen all over the continent, locking the demonic qi in the Sand Sea Mountain. Now, no demonic qi will leak out from the Sand Sea Mountain and would spread in the Huilong.

"I trust them." Wu Yuan said.

Cheng Sheng and Fei Yin smiled. "What a coincidence. Us, too." They said and looked at each other.

Cheng Sheng removed the Shapeshifting Blanket off of his body and threw it in the air. The Shapeshifting Blanket floated mid-air before it descended and wrapped around them three.

"Ready?" Cheng Sheng asked.

"En!" Fei Yin and Wu Yuan answered.

The Shapeshifting Blanket wrapped them three into a ball, before it bounced on the ground and rolled towards the Ni Lai Gate that stood tall on the road ahead.
