Xi Ming looked at them in disbelief.

"I'll go with you." Wu Xi spoke through the Thought Talisman.

Tang Zhe and the Huakai Sect looked surprised. "Wu Xi!!!" the Huakai Sect disciples cried and surrounded him.

They all looked at him.

"You all are planning to go… have you notified your sect leaders about this?" Xi Ming asked them.

Tang Zhe, Shu Mu and Xiao Le looked at each other. "No." they answered as they turned to Xi Ming with a deadpan expression.

Xi Ming. "…" then why do you all look like you're righteous when you answered?! He felt his head ached. "Why don't you notify your sect leaders first?" he asked Tang Zhe and Xiao Le. Shu Mu's father, the leader of their sect, has already died.

"This…" Tang Zhe and Xiao Le looked at each other. Tang Yun, Shan Lu and Guo Cheng also fell silent.

Xi Ming's brows raised. "You won't?" he said then crossed his arms. "Then, I won't lend you a hand." He told them.

"Ha?" they looked at him, confusion on their face. What does he mean by what he said?

"I said, I'll help you." Xi Ming answered. "But, since the Huakai Sect doesn't need more people, I'll then help you." He pointed at Shu Mu.

Shu Mu's eyes brightened, feeling grateful for Xi Ming's kind intention. "Thanks." He said as he cupped his fist at Xi Ming.

"But, you should also notify and ask permission from your sect leader, right?" Tang Zhe asked when he suddenly remembered something. His voice fell. He looked at Xi Ming.

Xi Ming grinned. "Sect leader Fei is missing, or else, how can I go to and fro from our sect and here?" he asked, a proud look on his face.

Tang Zhe's fist itched, wanting to punch Xi Ming.

"Also – " Xi Ming continued. " – elder Ho and the other elders of our sect are there, and also their respective disciples." He said. "I can only bring myself to help Shu Mu – " he said.

"Mu-ge! I want to go with you, too!" Xiao Le said.

Xi Ming looked at Xi Xing, only to feel his heart throbbed in pain when he saw Xi Xing's eyes are watery. "Xi Xing – "
