"Chase them." Shu Mu answered. "They may lead us to their other bases." He said.

"Understood!" Xi Ming answered.

Shu Mu pulled Xiao Le, who is concentrating on his Tracking Talismans placed on the demonic cultivators' backs, with him. Xi Ming and Xi Xing followed behind them.

West, Xifang, Huakai Sect.

"The sect…" Tang Yun blinked his eyes to prevent his tears from falling after he felt his chest ached and his nose felt sour when they saw the burnt gate and buildings of their sect.

Guo Cheng balled his fists and threw a talisman, preventing the hanging off plaque from falling off of its hinge. "Let's go in." he spoke.

"Yes." Shan Lu nodded.

Tang Zhe saw Tang Yun is staring at the gate in a daze with his reddened eyes. He held Tang Yun's hand and pulled him, following behind Guo Cheng and Shan Lu who cleared their way. Sun Yi and Wu Xi silently followed behind them. One can't talk, while the other one kept silent as a respect towards their feelings after seeing what were left of their home after it was burned.

None of them spoke as they went inside, which added to the gloominess that surrounded them.

Southmost Region.

"Yu Sheng!" Zuo Zhe called after he closed the door and then turned to Yu Sheng. "What do you mean by what you said earlier? 'third option'? 'deal'? What deal!?" he asked.

Yu Sheng unbuckled his belt. "Haven't I explained it earlier?" he asked as he turned to Zuo Zhe. "The third party – the Heilong emperor. We'll go to the Heilong Realm and find him, then strike a deal with him." he said. "Since he and Wu Ran are at odds with each other, then let's have them fight each other to reduce the casualties on our side. Since Wu Ran is our enemy, then our choice is the Heilong emperor. Let's ask him to stay on his turf and we won't step on his turf. Both sides minding each other's business. A pretty deal, right?" he asked.

A vein popped in Zuo Zhe's forehead. "You could deceive the others, but you won't deceive me, Yu Sheng!" he said and looked at Yu Sheng's eyes. "It's obvious that the Heilong emperor, Hei Shen, has other plans. We don't know what it is yet, but I am sure it definitely is not good for all of us!" he took a deep breath to calm himself after noticing his anger is starting to overtake him. "Yu Sheng." He called after he has calmed himself. "It isn't Hei Shan whom we are going to and make a deal with… right?" he asked.

Yu Sheng didn't answer and just continued to take off his clothes.

"Have you found Bai Shen?" Zuo Zhe quietly asked and watched Yu Sheng go to the water, naked, and soak himself.

"I am with you all the time. I also have to watch over Cheng Sheng's friends." Yu Sheng said. "So, how can I have the time to find Bai Shen?" he asked.

"Either he came to find you…" Zuo Zhe said. But, he knows this is impossible, since, as Yu Sheng said, Yu Sheng has been with them all the time. Then, there's only one possibility left. "… or you have gone to find him by yourself… before." He spoke in a low voice.

Yu Sheng froze, and then his body relaxed. He didn't confirm nor deny Zuo Zhe's words.

"So, you came to find him before." Zuo Zhe said. "When, exactly? And what did you two talk about?" he asked.

Yu Sheng turned to look at Zuo Zhe and saw that Zuo Zhe is waiting for him to answer. He sighed, feeling defeated. "I find him when we had a cold war." He spoke.

Hearing what Yu Sheng said, Zuo Zhe stiffened.

Yu Sheng saw Zuo Zhe felt uncomfortable, so he immediately spoke his next words. "But, what we talked isn't about Hei Shen." He said.

Zuo Zhe's expression turned better. "Then, what is it?" he asked.

"It's about Cheng Sheng's 'divine power'." Yu Sheng said.

"His power as a god?" Zuo Zhe asked.

Hearing this question, the corner of Yu Sheng's lips curled up. "Zhe. You are the one who wrote this world." He said. "Did you write anything about gods when you wrote this world?" he asked him.

"No." Zuo Zhe answered. "But, this world collided with your world because I – " wrote that fanfic.

Yu Sheng cut him off. "Fei Yin said that the Devourer already destroyed our world." He said.

"So…?" Zuo Zhe doesn't understand what Yu Sheng is getting at.

"So, Cheng Sheng can't have a divine power, nor I." Yu Sheng answered.

Zuo Zhe felt his brain is full of cobwebs. "So, what Cheng Sheng have is right now isn't a divine power." He said. This is all that he can understand. "Neither do you. So, if it isn't a divine power, then, what is it?" he asked, full of confusion.

But, Yu Sheng, his nature is to tease Zuo Zhe, didn't immediately answer. "Zhe. Weren't you in the Intersect Competition as an audience?" he asked.

Zuo Zhe was taken aback by this question. "Yes." He answered, feeling distracted.

"Are you blind?" Yu Sheng asked.

Zuo Zhe's face darkened hearing this question. A string of curses was on the tip of his tongue, ready to hurl them at Yu Sheng. But, a single word only came out of his mouth. "No." he answered. He reminded himself that he has to hear Yu Sheng's explanation. If he had pissed off Yu Sheng, then Yu Sheng – this man that is always teasing him, would just distract him more from what he wanted to know.

Yu Sheng's lips curled up when he saw Zuo Zhe held his temper. He decided to not tease him anymore, or his teasing would backfire. "Then, didn't you see the Feng Hua Palace?" he asked.

"I did." Zuo Zhe answered. He really doesn't know what Yu Sheng is getting at.

Yu Sheng finally decided to enlighten him. "Fei Yin said that the Devourer has already 'eaten' our world, and there's only this world that remained in what Fei Yin calls 'Ten Thousand Dimensions'." He started. "But, the Feng Hua Palace is located in our world. And you saw it during the Intersect Competition. So – " he said and looked at Zuo Zhe's ugly expression, knowing that Zuo Zhe must have finally realized it now. " – if our world was 'eaten' by the Devourer, then, why did the Feng Hua Palace appear during the Intersect Competition?" he asked.

It took a long time for Zuo Zhe to speak. He was too overwhelmed by this information. "… did Fei Yin lie?" he asked.

Yu Sheng shook his head. "He didn't." he answered.

"Then – " Zuo Zhe said.

"Neither the Feng Hua Palace is an illusion. The Feng Hua Palace is real." Yu Sheng said.

"So… what do all these means?" Zuo Zhe asked, feeling confused.

"It means – " Yu Sheng said as he came out of the water and walked towards Zuo Zhe, bare naked.

The water is dripping from Yu Sheng's sun-kissed skin and perfect body. The image is too sexy Zuo Zhe almost got a nosebleed has Zuo Zhe not focused all his attention to the matter at hand.

Yu Sheng sighed in disappointment after he failed to seduce Zuo Zhe who moved his gaze away from his naked body. " – our world still exists." He continued.

Zuo Zhe's eyes widened in shock. "So, Bai Shen…" he muttered.

"Bai Shen returned to our world when he also realized this fact." Yu Sheng said.

Zuo Zhe tried to calm himself. "Then… then, what is that 'divine power' you are talking about earlier?" he asked.

"Only I and Cheng Sheng are in this world, aside from Hei Shen, who came from our world." Yu Sheng started. "Even though Cheng Sheng and I are gods, but this world restricts us since gods can't appear in this world. Thus, Cheng Sheng and I can't have a divine power. That applies to Hei Shen, too, so he has to create a disguise to 'hide' himself from this world so that he can retain his divine power." He explained.

"Then… if it isn't a divine power that you and Cheng Sheng possess, then what is it?" Zuo Zhe asked.

"The energy that is from our world." Yu Sheng answered.

"'energy'…?" Zuo Zhe muttered.

Yu Sheng nodded. "Zhe." He called and smiled when he remembered something. "You are really amazing!" he said.

"Huh?" where did this suddenly come from? Zuo Zhe thought.

"It's because of you." Yu Sheng told him.

"What do you mean…?" Zuo Zhe is very puzzled.

"Because you 'combined' our worlds, both worlds can't be devoured by the Devourer because of too much energy from both high-level worlds. If he did, the Devourer would explode." Yu Sheng spoke. "Thus, both out worlds remained. And, since Cheng Sheng and I were sent here, our link to our world didn't disappear. Instead, it made us stronger!" he told him.

Zuo Zhe felt his brain crashed.
