"I – " Cheng Sheng sharply inhaled a cold breath when he felt his head is throbbing. 

Meng Gui and Shang He sharply turned, and their expressions turned wary immediately as they looked around, thinking that Ma Wen has attacked them without them noticing. They immediately pulled Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng to hide. 

"What happened to him?" Shang He asked as he and Meng Gui looked around, looking for enemies. 

They don't know how deeply Ma Wen infiltrated the Yao City, so they were very careful to not be noticed by Ma Wen's party. Although Xiao San and Shang He's people were following then, but there was still some distance between their groups to not gather attention in the Yao City, alerting Ma Wen. 

Fei Yin didn't answer since he also doesn't know what is happening to Cheng Sheng. "Sheng?" he called as he gave Cheng Sheng qi to relieve his headache. 

"I…" Cheng Sheng spoke as he took a deep breath. "I've been here before…" he said. 

Fei Yin was stunned. "What?!" he asked. 

Meng Gui and Shang He were also surprised, and puzzled. But they didn't say anything and just kept on the lookout. 

"What do you mean, Sheng?" Fei Yin asked and saw Cheng Sheng frowned in pain and discomfort so eh immediately made his tone gentler. "Sheng. What happened just now?" he asked, referring to his headache. 

"I… played myself." Cheng Sheng answered. 

"Huh?" Fei Yin stared at him, waiting for his explanation. 

Cheng Sheng gritted his teeth. "I… casted a spell not only to everyone… but also to myself." He said. 

"… what do you mean?" Fei Yin asked. "… aren't you immune to spells since you are an array master?" he said, remembered that Pai Lie was not affected by Qi Ling's brainwashing spell in the Righteous Alliance. 

"Because I am the caster." Cheng Sheng answered. 

Fei Yin looked at Cheng Sheng's face for a long while. "… Sheng. I can't be affected by a spell." He told him. 

Cheng Sheng then remembered Fei Yin's identity as the Keeper. "I don't know how… but maybe this is because I was from another world and shuttled through many worlds?" he asked. 

"… I think so." Fei Yin muttered. This is the only explanation they could come up as to why he, a non-human and similar but also of higher existence than a system, could also be affected by Cheng Sheng's spell. "What did you cast yourself for? And everyone?" he asked. 

Cheng Sheng pursed his lips. "This is all planned by Fei Huang." He said. "From Mu Jun 'kidnapping' Wu Fan after he left the Xinfaxian Sect to return to the Youxiwang Sect, awakening the Youxiwang Sect's array, to the Intersect Competition..." he took a deep breath and closed his eyes to relieve the pain in his head as an effect of the spell. "No… I think he has already started his plan before all these happened…" he added. 

"Sheng…" Fei Yin called. "You mean…" he muttered. 

"Fei Huang knows about the Heilong Realm, as well as Wu Ran, since the beginning!" Cheng Sheng said through his gnashed teeth. 

The pain in his head is getting stronger as he spoke. He doesn't know what other effects will be there after forcefully casting a spell on yourself, especially if you are an array master. So, he wanted to tell everything to Fei Yin as he much as he can. 

"I know now…" he continued. "Mu Jun is the Heilong emperor. Wu Fan must already know about the matter of the Heilong Realm and Wu Ran's reincarnation, and told it to Chen Jing so the both of them went to the Heilong Realm. But – " he said. " – they have forgotten all these. It's because I casted a spell on them. Their actions were spurred by consequential events, in which, must have already expected by Fei Huang. We're all dancing in his palms!" he gritted his teeth. "As to when did I erase everyone's memories…" his voice slowed down. 

"Sheng…?" Fei Yin called when he saw Cheng Sheng fell silent. 

"Hey. What's going on with you two?" Shang He asked as he turned to them. "What happened to Cheng Sheng? Why did he get a headache? Were he attacked?" he said. 

But, Fei Yin didn't answer and just stared at Cheng Sheng, waiting for Cheng Sheng to continue. 

"I know now…" Cheng Sheng spoke in a low voice. "Yu Sheng." He said. 

"'Yu Sheng'?" Fei Yin asked. 

"Mu Jun." Cheng Sheng muttered, as if he didn't hear Fei Yin and he just blankly stared at the wall in front of him which is hiding them. "… Bai Shen." He said. 

"'Bai Shen'?" Fei Yin asked. What does Bai Shen got to do with all these? He thought, then froze. A big conspiracy? His eyes narrowed. 

It's as if Cheng Sheng sensed Fei Yin's thoughts as he turned to him. "It's not an accident." He spoke. 

"… huh?" Fei Yin muttered. 

"My arrival in this world… as well as Yu Sheng's…" Cheng Sheng said, looking like he's in a daze. 

"Sheng… wasn't it because of Zuo Zhe?" Fei Yin reminded him. 

Cheng Sheng shook his head. "Zuo Zhe doesn't have the ability to send me and Yu Sheng in another world." He said. "And… his thoughts that were beyond his knowledge were 'gifted' to him." he took a deep breath. "Yu Sheng and I were sent here, as well as Mu Jun. Because of the unstable space, disrupting the time, Mu Jun arrived here earlier and became the Heilong emperor while Yu Sheng and I arrived only recently." He explained. "Yu Sheng then helped me with my cultivation, increasing my power. I think this is what's responsible for you being affected by my spell." He looked at Fei Yin. 

Fei Yin didn't answer and just let him continue. 

"Fei Huang's plan started with the change of my cultivation." Cheng Sheng spoke. "Mu Jun must have already told him about Yu Sheng's and I's real identities, so he included us in his plans on using everyone in the Huilong Continent against Wu Ran who reincarnated." He said, then paused. "With me becoming stronger, the effect and range of my power increased." He took a deep breath. "He used me during the Intersect Competition." He finally said. 

Fei Yin didn't speak. 

"That time when everyone suspected there's a traitor in the Alliance… that time when I got a fever. Do you remember?" Cheng Sheng asked. 

"Uncle arrived to tell us that… and spoke about the Wuran Kingdom." Fei Yin answered. 

Cheng Sheng nodded. "Wu Fan and Chen Jing already know about Fei Huang's plans at that time." He said. "They roped in Xie Lan and Fan Wen who also have heard about the Wuran Kingdom, which I think he has also planned after Xie Lan and Fan Wen left the Shanliangde Sect in the past." He frowned. "Wu Bai actually is the only one who remembers all of these, so that he has the motivation to create billions of puppets attached with the people's eight characters to make them almost similar to the original people. Even blood and flesh were copied…" he grimaced. 

Fei Yin blankly stared at Cheng Sheng for a long while before he spoke with much difficulty. "So… everyone is alive, and right now must be…" he sharply inhaled. 

"Mn." Cheng Sheng nodded, knowing what Fei Yin what to say seeing the mixed expressions on his face. "Facing Wu Ran." he answered.
