Bored Gamer In Other Worlds Chapter 622

Another year passed after that funny incident and a great change happened in the prison.
"DING!" A portion of the walls opened up to reveal a sweet sunny afternoon on the outside.
"What the holy fuck?!"
"Is this a joke or something?!"
"How could this possibly be?!"
.
..
...
The prisoners exclaimed one after another. It did not take them long to decide that this was a chance of a lifetime. Thus, they raced outside and unto the sweetest embrace of liberty.
"HAHAHA! We're free!"
"YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"Have we been given pardon?" A population of more than 300,000 souls steadily lined up towards this alien world.
There was pushing at first which caused the onset of a stampede but luckily, our bored gamer was there to manage things to a halt.
"Wait your turn and no pushing!"
"Be rowdy and i'll see to it that you will meet your maker before you could ever take your first step outside!" Clark's booming voice rose above the chaos at the doors.
This was more than enough to calm everything down. An hour later and almost everyone was already outside of the prison.
"We've been duped! FUCK!"
"This was not a prison at all but a big passenger ship!"
"Why were we sent here?" The prisoners realized this truth at this time.
"I bet the good guardian knows about this in the first place!" A man wanted to instigate something that was not beneficial to our avid gamer's well being.
It was a fool's behavior to follow in haste and so it did not take long for hundreds of yells to echo in this empty expanse of nothing but green grass.
"Yes, tell us everything!"
"What more are you hiding from us?!"

"Come clean, Guardian Fisher!" Alas, Clark merely ignored the crowd. No one was of course brave enough to use force before him. They knew how terrible a guardian's abilities were.
* * *
At another location, particularly at the entrance of the warship, some people were shouting.
"Hey, we're already free!"
"You can all come out now!" People urged the more or less 1 thousand people left inside the ship.
"What will we eat there?!"
"Nobody even knows where we are!"
"You can all go but we will stay right here!" A few smart minds from within the warship argued wisely.
"Suit yourselves then!" The people from the outside yelled back.
A few minutes of realization after, some of them wanted to come back inside and gather enough supply to last them the journey.
"DING!" Unfortunately, they were barred entrance by an unseen shield.
"FUCK!" The people punched the barrier but to no avail. Mortal hands cannot simply break through this advanced technological defense.
"Hey! Throw us some food!" They commanded the 1,000 souls still inside Jailbird 26771.
The personnel inside paused for a moment or two because they were undecided on what to do next.
"Hurry up! I think you'll all be forced outside just like the rest of us!" A man's guess was all it took to make them move from their frozen state.
"FOOD and WATER!"
"Bring whatever you can!"
"HURRY!" A gang leader in the 1,000 populace roared and everyone moved at the same time. Food was gathered and thrown outside, same with plastic jars of water.
They were only given 10 minutes before the eventual demise happened without any notice.
"WHOOSH!"
"WHOOSH!"
"WHOOSH!"
.
..
...
One by one, the 1,000 souls inside were forcefully repelled by an unstoppable wind power. They tried holding on to anything they could but such was a futile attempt in the end.

Some even chose to hide inside the space on the metal walls where they gathered food and supplies but they followed the fate of their friends later on.
"DING!" The warship then glowed strangely until it activated its cloaking device in the next breath. It was gone before anyone could say cheese.
"FUCK YOU, Alliance maggots!" A man cursed out loud.
"It's still here. The ship is still here." A woman offered her opinion on the matter. She deliberately threw a rock into space and a metal tune could be heard in the aftermath.
The warship was only invisible but not truly gone.
"So what now?" The smart woman asked herself and anybody else that heard her voice.
"Yes! What do we do now, ohhh strong guardian of the fucking Alliance!" An angry man fumed towards our bored gamer.
"Well... Since we are all adults here, we go whichever way we want." Clark shrugged with his answer. Before long, he could be seen walking in a particular direction.
He already consulted with his system Nancy and knew exactly where he was going. It did not need telling that Cora, Nicole, and Zoe followed in his steps.
Not a few souls started mirroring his steps also. They thought that the safest location would be near this guardian in their midst.
"WAIT! Are you just going to leave us behind?!"
"We barely have any food at all!"
"We can't survive in this place for long!" The population begged for anything. Although they got food outside but this was not enough to feed the mouths of 300,000 people.
This truth made our good gamer pause in his tracks.
'Is there a food source around here, Nancy? Somewhere relatively safe from those bugs.' Clark asked his handy system.
"Affirmative, host." Nancy replied and showed a rich forest teeming with game and resources.
'Hmmm... I feel like these monsters knew how to take better care of their world than us humans.' Clark mused inside.
There was a short description below which indicated that these ugly things created farms that could serve as an independent supply of food in their everyday lives.
Else they would be forced to conquer worlds left and right just in order to ascertain their continued survival.
"Take a hike to 60 kilometers in that direction. You will find food and shelter there." Clark pointed a hand to the west and then resumed his walk thereafter.
It did not need telling that he was going somewhere else. A place where the action truly was.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.
