Bored Gamer In Other Worlds Chapter 720

In a secret hideout of thieves somewhere near Far Water Town, a heated discussion was ongoing.
"Boss, I don't want to do this anymore!"
"I hear that Prince Ronan is a skilled swordsman!"
"He even slaughtered more than 3 dozen knights all by himself!" A shrewd looking man cried in fear.
"What are you talking about, Teddy? All of those are nothing but rumors. And besides, you don't have to confront the prince at all.
All you need to do is sneak inside his house and get the bag of gold from him. Get it?" The leader of the thieves replied.
They were called the Justus Three Toes Bandit Group and were a small-time gang in the area.
"B – but boss..." The robber named Teddy wanted to argue some more but alas, he was slapped by the harsh voice of his leader.
"No buts! Just do it!" Justus Three Toes cut Teddy off. Justus Three Toes was of course the name of the leader.
"Okay, boss." Teddy had no choice but to obey.
"You can do it, Teddy!"
"We believe in you!"
"We'll drink and smoke for 3 days straight once you come back!" The thieves around Teddy tried to instill motivation in his soul.
One should know that Teddy had the quickest hand and the most silent feet of them all. If anyone could pull this job off successfully then it would be Teddy.
One day quickly passed and it was now high time for eve's turn to flourish. The night was deep and it was almost midnight once again.
"This kind of work is not easy at all." Teddy said to himself after he unburied himself from his makeshift hiding place in the remote part of town.

He had entered Far Water Town at noon and waited patiently there. Now was the ripe time to strike whatever crime he wanted inside. Night time was indeed a robber's close friend.
"..." Teddy crouched low as he retraced his steps on a familiar spot. He had of course scouted the place up earlier and he was not alone in this wish.
One should know that our bored gamer has become extremely famous today. Thus, it was very easy for Teddy to go along the masses who wished to see the face of this prince.
They failed to realize this wish in the end but that did not matter for Teddy. All he needed was the location and he got it pretty conveniently.
"DING!" Teddy tried to push the front door and found it locked. This did not dishearten this thief at all. He would have been surprised to see it unlocked in these dark witching hours.
"THUD!" A rope was expertly thrown in the second floor and Teddy used this to provide him entry into our good gamer's domain.
He tried to be sneaky about it and peered through the slightly parted windows of the house. What he saw almost made him scream like a baby.
"A thief in the night. What a novel idea." Our bored gamer softly said and Teddy his heart jumped out from right his chest.
"BANG!" Teddy did not even think twice about it and just directly came back to whence he came.
He had heard the stories about our avid gamer's deeds and so he did not want to lose his head in the process.
When he hit the ground, Teddy was wise enough to remain stealthy in his walk. He passed houses and heard the music of couples fucking around him but Teddy never looked back.

He only felt relief after he scaled down the tall wooden gates of Far Water Town using a long rope.
"I don't ever want to go back to this place again." Teddy vowed. After that, he ran back to his friends and readied himself for his boss' fury.
Two hours of peaceful walk later and Teddy found himself back in the camp. He was not surprised to see that most of the gang was still awake.
It did not need telling that they all were very eager to share the loot from him. Even the boss Justus Three Toes was still very much active in this late night.
"So where's the bag of gold, Teddy?" Justus Three Toes asked. The leader looked around and found only empty hands on Teddy.
"Boss... I failed. Prince Ronan was..." Teddy could not finish his words at this time.
"STUPID! That was our only chance! You should have known that..." Justus Three Toes exploded in anger. He did not want to listen for any reason whatsoever.
Since their target had already known their plan, trying to rob him again would more than triple the failure rate. Justus Three Toes ranted for quite awhile.
"Teddy. What the hell is that paper on your back?" An ugly looking man asked even while their boss was screaming his lungs out in order to vent his feelings.
"What paper?" Teddy asked in alarm. Unfortunately for him and everybody else around him, Teddy was not able to get his answer.
"BOOM!" A terrible detonation broke the night's stillness that totally demolished this den of thieves. More than 30 thieves died that night alone.
Only broken bodies and missing limbs were left of them after that burst of magical power.

"Hmmm... It has an impressive area of effect damage."
"These exploding paper talismans are definitely worth it." Clark nodded as he requested for Nancy to let him see the point of impact. He approved of the lethality of these talismans.
"I have only 9 of them remaining. But it doesn't matter. I also got a great pick earlier." Clark smiled when he remembered the list of choices on his second day in Far Water Town.
* * *
"DING!"
"Congratulations, host! You have stayed in Far Water Town for 24 hours, corresponding rewards will be given. Please choose."
1. Ability to fly
2. One Spirit Stone
3. Dragon Subduing Fist
Our bored gamer did not have to think for long at all.
"I choose..."

Spiko's Journey
This is a Story of Spiko. An once normal cat, now a cat-girl. Which found herself in a new world. Searching for her home and anything that can hold her attention long enough. Join Spiko on her travels, in a world that is as unforgiving as it is breath taking. Be warned. This is a somewhat slow burn story. I expect that I will need a few chapters to get the rough outlines out there. General Info: -I really do this mostly, cause i need to freshen up my grammar and stuff. So, I will go over these chapters a lot, if I find errors (or you find them). I will mark revised chapters and what I changed in them ( if it is of importance to the story). I'm sorry for anything i might unleash onto the world. -There will be a little of everything in this. But I will never do harem stuff. Or horror just for the sake of it being horrific. No needless bad popes, bandits that rape villagers. Just for a hero to save the day. No stupid tropes. No OP Powers that can call forth doom to anyone. Spiko has Plot Armor as thick as any MC that you can't really kill off for good. But no Demon Lord will trip over a pebble, onto a peel of any fruit of choice and then die in a comedic way. When she needs saving. She's a tough cookie, which will find ways to get out of trouble (or into it). -Yes, the picture shows Spiko in her true glory. Before a lot of other stuff happened to her. And yes, Spiko is a weird Name for a cat. I'm weird. -Thoughts of Spiko are in Cursive = Why is that flower blue? -Descriptions and passive observational stuff that is coming from 3rd person view is in normal = There stood a blue flower, as Spiko shifted her wary gaze. -Distinct sounds are in bold = Swish (goes the cat paw on that blue flower!) -Talking is as always in "Hey, stop that!" -System stuff will be in tables = [Stat gain Stuff and so on] -There will be light GameLit stuff. I won't overdo it and if i do anything GameLit, it will have a reason and explanation. Do excuse the table formatting. I'm not great with word processor programs. -I'm crazy. Updates: Saturdays + whenever I feel like it (atm about 2~4 chapters a weekend + maybe weekdays. I guess?).

Keter
They called him "Keter"; The Top-Most; The Crown. An unsurpassable, unstoppable, unkillable soldier. Etched with a twisted set of morals and studded by an impossible drive for lachesism, Keter terrorized the world for ages. But time, you see, is a most patient thing. As sure as it gives, so does it take. Even the Crown saw the eternal spindle drawing on him. He blinked, for the last time, and saw a world anew. Synopsis. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
